  1. Thanks for the recommendation for the audio! There's so much fantastic clack that it's not easy to go through all of it to figure out what's best. Scarlett's audio is gorgeous, too. I've already downloaded all of her audio to add to my Clay playlists! annabear, good luck with your week from hell! :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  2. Yes, Yes, Yes!! Jojoct's EIDN and RHW are both fantastic, in different ways, of course. EIDN is hawt!!! Steaming!! And RHW is so tender, loving, kind, intimate and sweet that it will make you tear up, but in a good way. Gawd, it's so gorgeous!!
  3. Thanks for the awesome recap, Cotton! Yay, Couchie!!! Way to go, girlfriend. :F_05BL17blowkiss: clayzycoffin - yup, Clay cheers me up just about anytime, too! This gif is toooooo cuuuuuute!!
  4. EEEEEEEEEEEEEE for fantastic clack! I've been enjoying ALL of it. It's been a long time since I've had so much great clack to download, all at once!! I'm so glad so many FCAers were able to attend last night. What a special night! What a fantastic man! I just got back from the gym, where I was watching/listening to clack while on the elliptical. I have a montage of silly Clay moments at late night shows, and had that ICG plastered all over my face. At one point my husband came over to me, and said, "You've been grinning and smirking for the last 10 minutes. What's so funny?" :cryingwlaughter: I needed that ICG, because of problems we're having with our younger daughter. We went to the gym in a heavy mood, but I left feeling light and happy, thanks to Clay!
  5. Jeeez, it sounds like it would be sooooo much fun to be at the Gala! I hope we get some good pics. I LOVE the JBT jacket. Clay looked so gorgeous in it. I'm glad it went for good money! Wonder how much they will raise tonight for the BAF? It's great that so many items are going for good sums of money!
  6. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Gala reports! I've been busy all day with music stuff, and just checked in. It sounds like Clay looks GORGEOUS - I can't wait for pictures. :5: If he really does look that gorgeous, I'll even forgive him for shaving off the beard from last year, when he looked f***ing gorgeous. Heeeee! And the set list sounds great. It's a new thread, and my title got chosen! YAY!! That's never happened before, on any board I've been on. I'm so pleased! :7:
  7. EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! It's Gala Day!!! :nana: Can't wait for reports! And hopefully we will get some great pictures, and even a little video. *prays* Have a fantastic time, all you FCAers in Raleigh!! :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  8. yes I posted these at CV, but they are all mine! I had a mental limerick attack. Well, since my brain decided a bum knee wasn't enough hassell, I now have a swollen, blue-turning ankle! Ack! It's now wrapped and iced and I'm taking an extra sleep assist!!! My body loves to hit me with these surprise pile-ons!!! and Sheesh! Aw, Cotton, I'm sorry you got hurt again! I hope your ankle is better today. And your limericks are awesome! BWAH! That's hilarious!! YEP..and this is super duper deluxe TGIF for me because I don't go back to work until October 26th. I'm looking forward to a week of doing whatever the hell I want to. Uh oh and one of those somethings better involve rating my CITH song ETA: cuz only in my dreams do I go back to work on Nov 3rd. Maybe I'll hit the jackpot in Tahoe and I can become a non-threatening Clay stalker Have a FANTASTIC vacation, girlfriend!! :F_05BL17blowkiss: At least they had the right caption on this site - that Clay was signing autographs, rather than 'attending' Spamalot! I don't remember who posted this a few days ago - was it ldyj? Anyway, thanks for bringing it over! It's GORGEOUS!!
  9. YAY for everybody going to the gala! I'm so looking forward to the reports! Ya'll have a fantastic time, K? :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  10. KAndre, I'm so glad you survived and are doing okay! Heeee, I love the misspellings. And you made a lot of sense, too! You're right, Clay doesn't belt as much, and isn't quite as liberal with the glory notes. He's also improved his vocal technique (although it was always great!) and has added more nuance to his singing. I hear more expression, greater variation in dynamics, better control, and more nuanced phrasing. Another thing that is hugely different between MOAM and OMWH is the production, and the type of songs. I love MOAM, but they really tried to 'popify' Clay's voice, and took away some of the beauty of it. They flattened out his vibrato, and didn't bring out the beauty of his tone quality. I find MOAM songs generally to be simpler, whereas OMWH songs are more complex and have much more lush instrumentation. And, Kipper made sure to have Clay's voice front and center, and to let the beauty of his voice shine! I'm not on hydrocodone, but I'm very pleased that I could put those sentences together tonight. Here's what my day was like: played piano for four choirs this morning, spent all afternoon extracting infinitesimally tiny little bits of data from medical records at the hospital for a government website, and then did some recording with a vocal student for a competition. I think it's about time I took my fried brain off to bed . . .
  11. Oy, ve, what a buuuuusy day! Just got on the computer to catch up a few minutes ago. Wanda, I'm so happy you got to go to Spamalot tonight! Sounds like a great turnout at the stage door. kf, I LOVE AI5 Clay, too, and I certainly don't mind you posting AI5 pics! It's still one of my favorite clips of Clay. It always brings a smile to my face! I went to the MOAM CD release party in Denver the eve of the release. It was a very nice party! I met people there who are still my friends. And I, too, loved MOAM. Listened to it obsessively, and loved singing along to it in the car. My fave is IWCY. And I LOVE how Clay has matured since then. I enjoy remembering MOAM Clay, but I much prefer the man he has become. He's weathered some pretty difficult stuff, and is even more beautiful now, inside and out. I wouldn't trade the last five years of fandom for anything.
  12. Yessss, chach, you did it! THIS is the one my daughter has! And she gets GREAT comments on it every time she wears it. We say the lines along with the movie, too! The funniest dialogue to parrot is the minister at the wedding. We all burst out laughing when we are talking about 'mawwwige.' And I agree, Jamar, the book is awesome! Those pics of Kimmel are hilarious. I'm at work, so haven't had time to read the article yet, but will do so soon!
  13. Welcome, SueReu! You've done some very nice montages youself, and I'm really happy to have you here! And Cotton, thanks for the verra, verra nice pics!!
  14. Scarlett, you asked yesterday where my daughter got her Inigo Montoya t-shirt. I'm so sorry - I don't remember! She's had it for awhile. She likes to scour the internet for unusual t-shirts, and finds rare or unique t-shirts. She doesn't remember where she got it, either. I'm sorry! That was soooo well done! I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the link! FromClaygary, those pics were GORGEOUS! Thanks so much for sharing all of them!!
  15. Thank you so very much for trying! :F_05BL17blowkiss: :F_05BL17blowkiss: And thank you, Thankful, for the sendspace!! EEEEEEEEE! I'm gonna convert it and put it on my phone for kicks and grins! :F_05BL17blowkiss: kf, those gifs are deeeeliiiiciiiouuusss!!!! They are made of YUUUMM!!!
  16. Oh, yes, me too! I was just finishing up the laundry (blech) and folded my daughter's Inigo Montoya t-shirt. Yup, it has a picture of him on the front, and the words, "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!" She loves that shirt. Thank you so much for this - I had no idea. I am definitely interested in reading it! Now the dilemma......should I finish the series first? LOL You're welcome! It won't spoil the series if you read Midnight Sun now, because it only goes partway through Twilight. In fact, it will give you a lot of insight into why Edward acts as he does. The book will be quite long if she ever finishes it, since it's already 264 pages! That's because Edward, as a vampire, has so much "space in his head" that he can think through several things in the space of a second! Found these pics at CV. I love Clay's profile! And it's cool that guys are coming up to get their pictures taken with Clay. And I LOVE the laugh! Too bad the picture's a little blurry, but it still gives me that ICG! clayzcoffin, good luck with your presentation! And it's perfectly fine with me if you randomly blather, cuz I do, too!
  17. Do I ever agree with you about the ignorance! Not just about Obama being an 'Arab', but about the actual voting records of any number of candidates who are already in office. For many people the election is almost more of a popularity contest than a studied, logical evaluation of the candidate's views and record. My mail-in ballot just came in the mail yesterday. There are a ton of issues on the Colorado ballot this year, so I opted for the mail-in option. Makes it easier to study the ballot and make good decisions. And, I don't have to stand in line! Fear, I admire your efforts! Please come back and let us know what happens with that Congresswoman.
  18. Thanks for the suggestion, Scarlett! Great idea! The Open Studio Tour sounds great! I'd go with you if I lived closer. And thanks so much for ripping "Clay Aiken Remixed" - I'll be watching for a download link! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Thanks again for the color codes, Scarlett! It's a lot of fun to see everyone posting in different colors. I'm glad you enjoyed the pics! I'd love to see some of yours from Maui. Yes, they are QUITE addicting! Stephanie Meyer has written more Twilight stuff if you're interested. She wrote Twlight from Edward's point of view, and I found it fascinating! It's called 'Midnight Sun', and there is a partial draft up here. The link to the pdf document is at the end of her description about how it was unintentionally leaked on the internet. She may actually finish the book and publish it!
  19. Goldarngirl, thanks for trying to get that silly video ripped! It's so cute! I'd love to have a download of it, too. :F_05BL17blowkiss: Hey, chach and lucky, how are you doing with the Twilight series? I lost sleep reading it, too! Couldn't put the darn books down. If you're interested, there's a high-quality movie trailer on the Twilight MySpace here. jazz and chach - thanks for mentioning my Rockies pics! I love taking pictures, especially when there's such gorgeous scenery in the mountains. I only watched the afternoon one. What a hoot signing behind his back, pushing the one girl's head down to get the picture taken. What a joy. BWAH!! I laughed at both of those parts, too. A friend of mine from another board went to Spam this weekend, and managed to get an extra playbill signed for me! EEEEEEEEE!!! She said she got a GREAT pic with Clay. aikim, I hope you're able to relax today and tomorrow! No more trips to the grocery store! Take a large dose of clack and rest a lot, okay? :thbighug-1:
  20. Ah, yes. This is the gif you're talking about. Gulp! These are pretty nice, too: It looks like Clay hasn't gotten over his love of Ms. Mic Stand. Here are a few newer gifs: On another note, my family and I went for a drive in the Colorado Rockies last weekend to see fall colors. The primary deciduous tree in the Rockies is the aspen tree; most of the other trees are evergreens. Aspen often turn bright gold in the fall, and it's cool to see the contrast between the gold of the aspen and the dark green of the evergreen. Anyway, the weather turned rainy. I thought I wouldn't get very good pictures, but found that the low-lying clouds made for even better pictures! Here are a few:
