  1. Offstage, Quiana always looks 12 - at least to my wizened old eyes. I just wonder why she wears clothes that don't seem flattering to her on the stage. Or maybe it is just that she is standing next to that rail thin person on stage. I thought she was definitely IDed as being in at the door with Clay. I am trying to remember what Clay said about that scene. I know he said he thouight they were going sight seeing, but there was something about being misled about what they were supposed to do - I just can't remember and it is not as if we don't have miles of clack to search thorough.
  2. He said he never really watched Ai1,until DIane made him watch an episode before he applied. Knowing him, he problably applied and then looked stuff up to see what was happing with the top people. I think that might have driven him more than just his competitive juices. I am still thinking that he may have had a small choice of songs to sing because rainbow is the one song we never hear him sing again, and this is a man who seems to repeat a lot of music. Or he could have just let it go to KimL out of courtesy. I actually thought he looked cuter in Charlotte than in Atlanta. He had a nice warm smile, even it he did havethe triangle look. Hey, isn't Raleigh considered a triangle area? I like some the old clips of Clay, but that might be because I still think of him as a kid and this is just a younger kid. I can see him as an earlier version of who he is now and enjoy it for it's earlier perspective and the insghts that it can give on his development. Should I put up a you send it of the platinum after clip for after the Atlanta audition discussion?
  3. Let me start with the Charlotte audition. I know that is pre-TV Idol, but still it is where it began. We never saw Quiana's - someone should ask her if she saved her audition, so we can share it. It must have been good, but we don't have any Ai Quiana. OK - Charlotte - First of all, it was a patterned shirt with white collar and cuffs and not a sweater - why do people insist that it was a sweater? Moving on for this eternally bothering me topic. Clay was nervous but trying to be funny when he held his number and asked it the 88 was upside down. Then he samg the weiredest version of Over the Rainbow I ever heard. I wondered if they had limited songs to choose from because it was a local news station and they had to sing limited number of songs and he just faked this one. Hmm someone should ask him some time. He melismaed this song to death. His voice was good, but you had to really listen.
  4. Well, it seems that Charles get introduced at least once at every concert. I can't remeber where it was for the JBT, but someone had a meet and greet set up by Charles when he gave them Jerome's phone number. I remember he was introduced at the Nat and at an IT, I am not sure about the JBT, but then again, that was a short tour.
  5. If you are a member of Clayversity, they are putting them all out now on you send its.
  6. Ruben is working on a new album with an unspecified release date (like someone else we know) Kim Locke is working on a new album Josh is doing fine. Trenyce - I actually lost track of her after she appeared in a touring company. Carmen is mariied and has a full album coming out this fall Kim Caldwell is still owring on her alubm with Randy and Diane Warren, but has no label, she alos is a sports spokeswoman/eye candy Rickey is in school getting his music degree and has an possible contract to sing with an opera company for 5 months Julia is doing community service and works in a hair salon again Charles goes to Clay concerts and gives out Clay's personal phone number and arranges meet and greets for young girls Vanessa was in local theater in Atlanta before Christmas for a part in a puppet show (where they wear huge costumes) and has not appeared after that. Oh yes and Craggle, has an album out.
  7. Well..... If you know how many prizes you have, you can have a series of contests - I will PM you what I will part with, you can collect the donations Then you could have a contest for photoshoppers(I can think of one Canadian that would almost be a shoo in), for writers/poets, perhaps a finding clues hunt around the website screens type contest(not where's waldo). To make it really interesting for everyone - have people vote in the winner - your choice if they have to register first. If you don't let people see the results as they go, you would probably get less spamming.
  8. Have we thought about a contest? I could, I suppose, spare some Clack for a prize. Maybe CD album covers - with visitors voting for the winners or maybe a lymrick contest? Besides official Clack. I have some pin extras that no one seems to want to trade for and an extra 2004 ornament and Clackhouse lanyards - bought too many - (why?) And I make ornaments, I could make a Clay Photo ornament if I could get a picture approval from a photographer. What do you think? Maybe a pixel challenge like the old one that was on TWOP? Slinking back to watch Oregon dialogue - I know my place
  9. Well, I used to buy two of everythihng, but if you look above, you will know where they went. Somethings cannot be found in NC. How can I refuse Fear when she has to check that I am alive periodically? I really really tried to find the cablevision TV guide, but for some reason it was not available in NJ. I guess I should have gone to NYC. Autographs, I have the fan club picture that came autograhed even though I was about 8 hours behind everyone else in signing up. I have magazines that Clay is on the cover of. Too bad I didn't buy when everyone else did before the end of AI. I have CDs and stuff like that there. I have most of the tshirts that have been on sale, all the tour books and posters and key chains and magnets. I have PINS, too many PINS. I have no problem in standing on line for the merchandise. I have things that I wanted to give to the release parties for momentos. Some extra leaflets from 2004 JNT and adds for AC and TR for this summers JBT. I never got the coke bottles because I am protesting Coke's world wide negligence in ruining well water in India and in Africa and letting towns die. But it would have been hard to refuse if I saw them for retail. I have Playbill from broadway (as does Fear) and ticket stubs. I have the Singapore poster and CD (2). As a point of humor - about a week before Christmas, Fear's husband called me to ask where he could buy some Clay stuff for his wife. Hee. I told him it was toooooo late. Then he wanted to know what he could buy from me, and I did not have anything extra that she does not have, so nothing there. I told him to buy a mug at the concert but something went wrong there. You know, you do need some lead time on this stuff. I did send him one small item I thought she might not have. I don't think he gave it to her though.
  10. Heh I was right behind you in NYC - Clay4shore - row 7 seat 5. The person who wwas supposed to sit next to me never showed up, so I used it as a coat holder.
  11. I was just joking about the pins - for now anyway. Some day in the distant future, I will need to sell everything I have accumulated over my life. I consider physical clack an investment - i.e. magazines, posters, memorabilia, etc. I don't think I could financially make it to the end without selling my stuff. I won't be able to fit everything into that single room I will end up in anyway. I need to either get another job or find some other source of income. My camera malfunctioned this year and I missed the Thanksgiving Christmas sales time when I usually sell ornaments. Stuff is stuff. It is nice to have while you can afford it, but you can survive without it, unfortunately this is not true for medication. Right now I am spending money on the puppy I want but did not need, another 100 dollars today for Rabies shots and distemper. I could have had the free shots from the town, but then I could not register the dog in January as required - I always seem to be off the cycle of free shots for the dog. Most of the current pin sales are now being done by 3 people.
  12. Gee I came to ask how everyone feels about the FCA member only pin bringing the most on e-bay to date - $15.50. Oops, this is no longer true, the CHristmas with Clay Aiken tree with spinner went for 32.50. Congradulations,.....maybe. I have mixed feelings myself. Oddly enough, Fear and I each got 2 of the different ones and traded so we have ome of each. Makes me wonder what the pink Raleigh fan member pin would go for. I mean, I really spent a lot on pins, it could go a good way to helping me get even, heh.
  13. HI, thought I would drop in and say what a blast I had last night. I could help transcribing if you want. I would actually do it in would where I spell and grammer check, so it would actually be readable! Not like typing quickly during the cellcert to make sure that you post your thought before the others do it!
  14. Well, then that would be Clay not impressed to join along with the rest of us. NEway - lovely ending to a lovely concert. Thank you all for your reports. See you on the main thread.
  15. Good greif Scarlet had to fly home because she was out of vacation days and fly back today?!?!?! How weird.
  16. And the venue sweeps the bodies off the floor. The End
  17. Screech city - what a reception -whew, blowingthe roof off. And WAYDNYE Wish we could hear it. - some one called this.
  18. He is finally getting all his hugs - Felkix came down from the drums is giving high 5s to everyone. Gregory's father is coming out as well -= they put a light on Junior under the stage. Aw Gregory said a special thanks to Clay for letting him be on the tour. Now a group hug
  19. Aw Allison hugged Clay - If Clay does not like that runner up story, how long until Quiana gets tired of the story that she beat Clay in Charlotte? -
  20. So that summer tour with Daniel was the NAT - right? Didn't he replace Jai?
  21. Crediting Adam with dancing, Brianna for laughs and John for hair and style AND dancing Says like when he saw Adam and Patricia dance were very romantic - then they told him they were brother and sister and he said "eeewww'. Says Patricia is perpetually happy. Nolan was on idol tour, J+NT 2004, JBT and this tour - great clothes steamer and makes people laugh
  22. DOes anyone remember that at the JBT this summer that Ansdy Abad's wife said that she liked her husband going on Clay's tour because everyone has to behavethemselves. Or was that in his e-mail to me? Yay for lurkers appearing!
  23. What a lovely soft ending from Quiana - everyone seems on top of thier game. Opps, I expect the real pranks to start now. I hope they have enough time for Good news. SOunds like they are giving Clay happy new year hats. Everyone wants to be special. Aw, crediting WJ with a sense of humor and being quick at his feet.
  24. Hey RV don't tempt Us Fear and I have had vacations that centered around eating Crabs! In Maryland and Jersey, of course. I guess Clay is willing to stress his voice in the last show, going out on a blast!
  25. I am trying to stay in the spirit, I am trying to stay in the spirit. First my dog breeches the sortoffence I erected in the backyard and gets me all tangles and cut up with the wires, edges, as she pulled them from the soil, now she is seriously undecorating my tree and playing with the ornaments. I guess Christmas is really over. Wow - that is some Noel - and a standing O with random whoos and more applause - hey people, let them finish to get your good news!
