  1. But don't forget that Clay tends toward snark. He could have been joshing at the players expense. He can only hear what goes out over the mikes anyway because of his ear thingies.
  2. Stop me if I am wriong, but I did not think temps sang - they have a backing track that sounds the same for each show. I would think a better description than singing would be mouth the words (sigh reminds me of my youth when the teachers would come around and tell people to sing the star spangled banner, not just mouth the words. Then they would come to me and say - "mouth the words"). Bwah, bottlecap, I just went over and lit mine up. I don't have the usual ton of decorations though because fewer and fewer people come over during the holidays. I love it when he starts with the "old Saint Nicholas" line there is something that transports me back in time to a real musical from the 50's or something.
  3. OK, got my connection back finally. I don't know if they missed us. More from Corabeth at the CH I don't see that she mentioned that Newland said that in the church scene, since they could not see the angels, there was a lot of look at Gregory and freeze, look at Gregory and freeze. Throught the whole show the extras could not see the angels. The had to look through them or at other places, but at no time could they recognize that there was anyone in that spot. She said there were people in Christmas time circling Clay, but they had to move in a way that would not acknowledge that he was there. It was hard in the church scene nto to look up at Clay, earlier today, she said she found a way to look down with her head while rolling her eyes way up to see Clay. .
  4. Can Newland talk any faster? I would type it, but really - it is quite a lot. Corabeth is typing it up at the CH, can I just steal from her? OK From Corabeth at the CH
  5. I got a very nice thank you PM from the person I sold the Raleigh tickets to - she said they were dead center on the floor and after they convincedthe people in front of them to remove their hats, had a wonderful view. How often do people thank you for sellng them tickets?
  6. Hey don't laugh about NYC - I counted a total of 5 flashes ione night - in total - no more - Jojoct was running all over the place like amad woman before the show started.
  7. I am startingto think they are using the flashing (not that it is not bad or rude) to beat people over the head with it.
  8. BWAH - everyone is standing around wondering why there is no good news. This is the problem when we share, we know what we are missing. Did I hear that right? Clay goosed Quiana?
  9. Why I bet the autographed Wj Cd would make a gret birthday gift for Nolan! HWere is a light bulb emoticon when you need it.
  10. a cellcert is one phone to another. The stream is what it is. You know I don't believe he reads the CH, the board is to small. ZIf they want a larger sample, it would haveto be CB or OFC.
  11. What was that about nick@smugmug.com? SOme very nice pictures? Did anyone get it?
  12. I still get nervous with the interviewing people on the cellstream. Does TC know about the cellstreams, because sometimes I think that many do not. Some things seem to skirt legality in this little hobby. They are talking about the livingroom being smaller. All I can say is in the small stage in NYC saved space by not having the Christmas trees at the end. I don't think they can change the set sizes though.
  13. Ah cookie making time - so nice. This concert just gets better and better. I guess practice does make perfect. Ew, ew, ew Brother and sister do not grind on each other. What is wrong with that dancer man?
  14. Food for thought From the CH Love them Jingle bells - ok, I am repeating myself, but that song always lifts my heart. Podsoda posted about her Dad in her blog today. Here is a link in the OFC, but you have to sign on first. Podsoda's blog
  15. The comment was that Newland is on stage with Clay in the community chorus. Is Newland from Florida? I thought she was from California.
  16. Ah, William Joseph told that hockey story in New yourk onthe 3rd night. I think someone told him he needed to vary his schtik. Newland is on stage. eep, this causes a reaction in my stomache that is well, I won't go into it.
  17. DOn't casinos like to move people out of theaters and back on to the gambling floor? Thanks again for the summaries and good night to all.
  18. Remember Florida has not had Clay there since last year. (I know not like the Pacific Northwest or Canada) Maybe it was up for discussion on whether to do it or not. I think the Goodnews photo problems come because it is from the set up of it. The dramatic.
  19. Is he getting out of order? There was something about being a great teacher and teaching sarcasm. Hmm I thought that Quiana was going on 27, I din't realize it was 26. I was rewatching the Hollywood show to answer a question for someone on the Clayboard and saw Quiana being cut and taking it well, then being show comforting several others who were reacting very badly. She is just older than her years. In person she looks like she is 12 though.
  20. Go quiana - I hope people hold the Happy birthdays for the intros.
  21. Sheesh, did not know that William would not be playing, I came here late - thanks for the update. How weird - a Christmas show at a casino, shows them all to treasure those little things before they bet them.
  22. HI, just wanted to say what fun last nights 'cert was. Nothing is quite so good as laughing with friends.
  23. Merry christmas, happy holidays and to al a good night.
  24. SO there were no jumbo trons tonight? It was an aufully large venue not to have them.
