:clap: Yay for early voting! DH and I worked the phones today trying to encourage people to vote early! There's more than line length and time as a consideration. Stuff I'd never have though of. Getting to the poles and finding out that - no matter you voted in the last 4 prez elections your name is not on the list and other such issues! Can you imaging going to vote and not being able to vote cuz somebody messed up on the entries?!!! I'm sorry for those who were planning to see Clay this afternoon! I sure hope he heals quickly! It's bad that so many are out!

Ooh, Cindy,yeah that's yucky! I didn't read the whole site, so I didn't see all the "jokes"! I was just talking about people "worrying" about Clay and what they were saying about him. I was thinking about skimming it tomorrow. Just for my own "edification" as it were. Sad when they can't, at least, be funny!

A 7 yr old boy, Jennifer's nephew, is missing from Jennifer's mother's home and an Amber Alert has been issued! More from EOnline here Jennifer was supposed to leave for Japan to promote her album and is on her way now to Chicago. Sad.

I saw that 2 people had been found dead at Jennifer's house. Later reports said her mother and brother were the victims. Horrible! Reuters - Jennifer's Mother and Brother Killed Excerpt You know what's really bad? Reuters is listing it's source as TMZ!!!

Oh, I don't think there's any doubt that the economy is BAD. We've had restaurants close in Wilmington. DH and I see our retirement accounts decline. (I took out my retirement when I left teaching and put it in mutual funds. Safer than individual stocks - can't go below our original outlay - but still depressing.) But I agree that the continual harping in the political ads and in the media feeds the fear, therefore adds to the economic decline. I don't know what can be done, though. The media will stay with the story until there's no story left. In the meantime, real people are seeing real problems in their lives. And it pisses me off that some of the very ones who created this mess have their multiple houses, etc, in their wives or children's names and get to go on their merry way. I think the AIG people should have to pay back every cent. I'm probably not making any sense. I majored in English not business or math!

Talked to 2 first time voters who seemed excited to be voting for their first time! Good to see the younguns involved! Hope BF doesn't hurt any more parts tonight!!!
