I don't know about Missouri, but here in NC, we see the Miami show at 7pm and Atlanta at 8. And then it shows again tomorrow. Here's hoping you don't have to wait til tomorrow! Oops!

Go look at AYSTAFG Clay again. It'll make you feel better! I've been looking at flights to Vegas yesterday and today for DH and me. And he wanted to go see one of the Cirque shows - till I told him the price!! "O" is $185 each for orchestra. Eek! I don't see how he's going to do so many consecutive shows in the beginning of the tour. And yet - I wish a show would come up closer to home. *snif* G'Night, All!

Interesting, I've lived in the South ALL of my life and have never heard Clay or anyone else say cousins with a 'D'. I've heard 'cUHzzin' - like LOTS, but never a 'D' sound. I think Clay looks good in the screen caps. Is that his picture on the screen? Young Clay? Big ears and glasses? Too cute! BTW, Thank Goodness, it is actually almost TOO cool outside! 51º!! :nana: Ick! WRAL news just said 80's will be returning! Poo! ETA: FIVE more posts and I can quit walking the dogs!! A-Whoo-Hoo!!

hee I love Suggestions Are Us! I have a footrest that always travels with me in the car when DH is driving. Wooden though, a little to much to carry on an airplane! I'll have to look for a more lightweight one. Or maybe I'll just get one of those inflatable pool toys that are probably on sale cheap now!!! Let's see - a Dragon? A Big Shark??? I'll have to think on that. But for now, I'm . . . (not bored, Play! Just tired!!) or maybe I'll try this one . . .

Ooh! Sounds like so much fun! I wanna go next time! Loved the pics. Wish you could have sneaked and gotten pics of some of the various art objects. Totally understand why you couldn't, though. I love NC pottery. Sadly, my NC pottery shelf FELL OFF THE WALL in SC and all but two or three little pieces broke beyond repair! I need to book our flight to Vegas. Gad, that's a long flight! The shortest is 6 1/2 hours! And we have 45 min to an hour (traffic +_) to Wilmington airport. Ack! I don't do well in airplane seats. Too short. Feet don't touch the floor. Leg cramps. I know - too much whine!

I had seen the original lyrics, but not the Ecclisiastes story. I found the story online and started reading it. I used to read some Asimov, but Zelazny might be a little too much work for me. FearofH2O Thank you so much for posting that! I had not watched the show in a long time. It was saved on my HD recorder in SC, but of course, that was all lost when we moved. I had completely forgotten that Sexy SingerMan danced on the show. Quite well, too!

BTW, I'd like to thank whoever nominated my post for the thread title! I was pretty sure it was mine, but I had to go searching to be sure! Hey, I'm trying to get beyond dog walker somehow!

I don’t know if this has already been posted, but there is a tiny Clay mention in the October Access, the DirectTVHD magazine. The article is called The TeleVisionaries - 10 People who have changed what we watch and the way we watch it. The first story is Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller. I thought it interesting that these are the three mentioned. No Carrie. No Ruben or Fantasia. No winner except Kelly. The article says that Idol isj signed through 2009! Ack! And then goes on to mention their other ‘creations’. Happy Columbus Day! Happy Thanksgiving!

And, obviously, everyone gets to decide for themselves when Clay is giving a pat answer and when he's not. Which is why I said, "To me, ". And, really. It doesn't matter to me why the song is gone. I loved it. I'm sad it's gone. Doesn't mean I don't look forward to what's coming. I'm excited to see what he does next. And next . . . And next . . . But BFM will always hold a special place in my heart! I like Tears, too, but JY, not so much. However, I'm trying to watch AIR. I don't know if I can't stand much more of these auditions! Could someone just do a combo video/audio montage with just the Clay parts? Silencing all the Maria Carey wannabees??? Really. Making my ears bleed! I actually feel sorry for the Zero Trio!

Good morning! Chiming in on BFM. I am one who LOVED Clay singing BFM! I don't know sh*t, but I do think Clay often has a pat answer for something that has hurt or ticked him off. The man sang the shiznit outta BFM and when he sang it on GMA, he had sung it for an audience only once, right? And the audience already knew it and sang along! To me, that's what he 'didn't really like it' was - a pat answer. But, let me re-emphasize, I don't know sh*t! I also am not interested enough to go hear someone else's version. BFM was like a second Invisible, to me. It got Clay and the joint rockin'! It was a good time. And I also loved the little dig at Radio, Radio, Radio! Q&A (and Jacob) seemed to love playing with the crowd on that one. It was just FUN! Was it the most beautiful use of Clay's voice? No. Was it a blast? For me, Yes! So maybe it wouldn't have been a radio hit. But I still feel a tinge of something . . . regret? sadness? disappointment? resignation? . . . that it's been confirmed that Clay won't be recording it. But that's just me.

I need to book a flight for DH and me!!! First I was waiting to see about my health - I'm better! Now, we're waiting to see if DH has to have surgery! The man is NEVER sick. He is finding he doesn't like being on the other side of the lab coat! (He does MRIs and now he's waiting for the ENT doc to decide if when he needs surgery.) Had a biopsy and it was "non-diagnostic" - meaning they don't know nuttin'! Grrr. I'm gonna have to decide SOON! DH will PLAY while I CLAY! hee Oh, I forgot . . . Good Morning! ETA: Looking at the photo comparison above - if you look at each feature, it's all there. All the same. But - boy, has he matured!
