You know, I love Quiana. And I think she has a beautiful, gorgeous, strong voice. I just don't think she has the Drive. That's one thing I forgot to mention in my post about all Clay's attributes. heh His DRIVE! You know - Clay wants what he wants when he wants it. heh I was 'surfing' and saw this guy from NC. I was living in Greensboro at the time. That's what got me tuning in. But I loved his voice. And I voted. DH even voted. But I didn't see the sexy until Elle. I wanted to pull that tie the rest of the way off. For starters . . .

Guys frequently have a hard time seeing what women find attractive, or don't understand this "true to yourself" thing coming from a guy. Doesn't compute. Now, I don't know shit either, but I think it's a definite possibility. That's pretty much me, with a "and he had a fantastic quick wit" tacked on to this definition for good measure. His wit and charm grabbed me LONG before even his voice. Good Lord! I do know how to spelled pinched! And - I've enjoyed the Alicia discussion. I know she has a 'tighter' self-definition than Clay - for lack of a better description. I do think part of Clay's "problem" is the double-edged sword that is his Multi-talented giftedness! He is NOT just one thing! He is SO-O-O many things! The VOICE. The HUMOR. The INTELLIGENCE. And MENTAL QUICKNESS. The SLAPSTICK. The TIMING. The SEXY. The INTERPRETIVE GENIUS. He is just a Smorgasboard of Yummyness, isn't he?! Yeah! Thanks for the great screencaps! Love them! (I may have messed up the quotes and lost attribution. If I have the wrong person saying the wrong thing, please forgive me and straighten me out!) ETA: I forgot - his unusual combination of HUMILITY and CONFIDENCE! And his GENEROSITY!

I'm sorry to jump in OT, but I'm so far behind - way back on page 33. I didn't get online much yesterday. Trying to avoid this pinch nerve - well - pinching! OMG, did any of you see Alicia Keyes on Sunday Morning?? So many of her comments sound so much like Clay - about being true to yourself. I haven't written a recap and want to, but Holidays are approaching and I still am not unpacked from our May move. I have to get busy with this mess! ETA: Great children's book I was just reminded of by the end of Sunday Morning - Gotta Go! Gotta Go! (Sunburst Book) by Sam Swope and Sue Riddle It's the story of Monarch Butterflies and their migration to Mexico. Repetitive phrases kids love. Great info written so children understand. However, I just looked at Amazon and see only the paperback???

Hey Lu-ceeeeeeeeeeeeee, I'm Ho-o-o-o-ome!!! I've been trying to catch up reading and am still hopelessly behind. I missed the picture of the FCA crew at LV preparty! Wah! I got to meet so many and missed so many that I'm :F_05BL17blowkiss: and both!! (I ain't naming names!!! I'll forget somebody! ) I can't believe I missed KarenEh!!!! And, yeah, that shirt is SO-O-O SOFT!! I can just imagine stroking Clay's arm and how ni-i-ice that would feel!!! I'm still travel-weary, but at least there was no 5 hour delay on the return trip! Play! I'm glad the cast removal turned out to be a good thing! Okay - I'm off to make dinner for DH and me. When I make spaghetti sauce, I make loads and freeze, so it makes for an easy dinner, thank goodness. I have piles of laundry. And, according to KIM, we have only 45 days to Christmas and I ain't done nuttin' yet! (Or according to this Holiday Countdown site.) Not to mention Thanksgiving! Latah, y'all!!!

I'm so not caught up cuz it takes me 5 friggin' days to pack!!! Grrr. I hatesesss packing. I still haven't closed my suitcase but have decided not to take my computer so I will be so out of the loop! Thanks, laughn! It has been blowing crazy down here on the NC Coast! Last night we had to take our hanging plants down for fear they'd get blown down. I had a butterfly house sitting on the railing - pretty sturdy wood - and it did get blown off. Still in one piece, thank goodness! The final 1/2 hour of the Today show coming up here!

Couch - I've been meaning to tell you how cute your little Pocahontas is!!! (I'm assuming she was Pocahontas and not Sacajeweah. How did her report go? One of our 4th grade teachers used to have "Biography Month" (not what she called it). They had to check out biographies from the library. (That's where I came in.) Then at the end of the month they had to "become" the subject of their biography in a "Living History Museum" for the students in the other classes. Costume, info board and speech. It was very cool and most of the kids really got into it. SOON!!!
