  1. couchie... I have jury duty Oct 2... have to call in every night to see if I have to show up or not. We only have two people in our office so it makes it very hard when one is out, cause we have to lock the door and turn the phones to automatic to go to the restroom. What will be will be.

I've been chosen twice to be on jurys and both times it was settled out of court after the first day of testimony. I'm a Libra and have a hard time chosing sides, so that made me very happy. Hope my luck holds.

  2. KAndre... I want the twisted yam on a stick, thank you very much...

I also want sex on a stick Decca Clay! :cryingwlaughter:

I can't wait to see which Clay shows up at the Gala. Suit Clay I'm sure, but what else???

I loved his look last year and the bearded Clay from the year before was awesome.

aikim... it's great to see the countdown in the 30s!

ldyj... I'm happy the contest is back! I really missed it when it was on vacation.

  3. By the way, I know this is not clay content, but please have good thoughts for my 17 son who has special needs, he began a special work program that will last about 7 months to eventually have a job, he was so nervous this morning, practically didn't want to go in when I just drove him. I didn't sleep much because of clay and this last night. This mamma was nervous too, lol!

preden... they are used to people starting out nervous, so he'll be fine... now, you need to be fine, too. Even mothers of kids without special needs are nervous on the first day of a kid's new experience... trust me, I know. :cryingwlaughter:

I really enjoyed this Q&A. Clay is the funniest man. And a real smart alec (however you spell that).

    Deformed chin... BWAH!!!

    Alaska... LOL

    Hair color... :cryingwlaughter:

    Jermome... :hysterical:

    Calendar... eeeeeeeeeeee

    luckiest.... congrats! How fun!

Chicos is great for fancyish colorful tops.

Sorry about Krystyna. She was a special person from what I read.

clazy... fantastic about your screensaver bringing Clay to mind. Good work!

My boss saw my Decca Clay picture on my screen and made the remark at how much he had grown up... in other words how manly he looked. Yes, indeedy!!!

  5. O/T - Reed has changed his profile picture again. Lord have mercy... :Imok:

Went to weight watchers this morning, lost 3pds, not bad after vacation! I want to look good in a dress I want to wear for the Gala!!! lost 13.8pds so far!

preden... congrats! Aikim says you've got 46 more days...

Is this the one you mean?

Yes it is verra verra nice! :whistling-1:

merrieeee... I think I just swallowed my tongue!

I hope these get him umpteen modeling jobs so he keeps up the advertisement! Um.... Madison Avenue... got a hot one for you!!! Whew!

  6. My fav Clay look? Winter, 2006 - shoulder length, rich, wavy chestnut locks, beautifully pale skin (sometimes I seriously like the pasty!), pants of ass-cuppage perfection of a suit that probably cost more than many people's mortage payment, smooth-cheeked, bright-eyed, wicked-looking. That's what makes me want exercise my tongue muscles!

KAndre.... tho I fully appreciate the banner look, that JNT 06 look was absolutely great until someone screwed up his hair for the last concert in Greensboro. Pfffft! :cryingwlaughter:

OOlsee... ya know... I've heard a lot of good things about KIAs. They seem to be a sleeper car that is gradually being discovered and because of that, the price for used ones would be pretty cheap, I would think. I've also heard that Ford Focus is one of the most popular cars in Europe and there must be a reason for it. You can't beat looking them both up on the Kelly Blue Book website. I looked there when I just bought my new car and I didn't know they did reviews of cars. I thought it was a very informative sight.

Have you listened to the clack from the David Foster thing in Las Vegas. It was a few months ago, but depending on how out of it you've been, it might be new to you. He looked great that night, too.

David Foster and Friends (of which Clay was one)

  7. I was there, too. I loved watching the rehearsal... seeing him on the couch relaxing with Q & A, watching Angela rolling up his pants so they fit better. Seeing his palpable joy at performing for us again.

I will never understand why they never put the video of the concert on the Cadillac Garage. They would have gotten a million hits.

    #2 all the way!!!

  8. Mileage, mileage that car gets mileage...who knew!! :hysterical: Hee! I'm more interested in the "stuff" inside. Actually It will average between 27 to 31 on the highway so it is about 6 miles better than the car I had before.

My DH just called and is more excited than I am that I did this on my own. He knew I was looking but had no idea I was going out to actually buy one today. He has major health issues and this cheered him up no end. Now what kind of a man gets all happy that his wife went out and spent thousands of dollars on a new car (and sold his car to boot)! We will be married 40 years in 3 weeks. I told him this was my anniversary present and he got...wait for it...Madden 10 for his XBox! I think that was more than fair!

merrieeee.... 40 years!!! W.O.W. Impressive. I think his getting Madden 10 and you getting a new car sounds like a fair trade to me. :cryingwlaughter: Madden 10 will give him hours of pleasure and Clay in your new surround sound will give you hours of pleasure. See what I mean???? :cryingwlaughter:

  9. Hee I am so excited! I just bought a new car....all by myself. My DH hasn't seen it or anything and it's all on MY credit! I have wanted to be able to do that for years but they always wanted a co-signer but no more!!!

One of the great things on this car is that it has a hard drive....oh yess....I can play a CD and save it to the car. Guess which one I put in and saved first?

merrieeee.... Congrats!!! A hard drive in a car... wow.

Hee I was a big girl but because I didn't work for the first 25 years of our marriage I had no individual credit rating!

    But now I'm dangerous!

I bought a Lincoln MKZ. I'm loving it. It's purdy and has something called THX cinema surround sound so Clay sounds real nice.

I'll post a pic later if you want to see.

merrieeee.... I do want to see, but mostly I want to hear that surround sound of Clay singing OMWH! I'll just teleport to TX and you can give me a ride. :cryingwlaughter:

  10. I had to go for #2, tho I love #1. #2 is what made me find the online fandom. I never watched AI2 until the last performance night and only knew my jaw dropped when I saw his makeover on that little clip they did. I was stunned when he lost.

But, I then forgot about him until I saw that Rolling Stone cover. That, as they say, was that! :cryingwlaughter:

To: Clay Aiken's Stylist, Clay Aiken's Publicist, Clay Aiken's Manager, Head of Decca Records, Clay Aiken's Personal Assistant and especially to CLAY AIKEN!

    From: Your...drool, slobber, thud...fans

    Re: Attached picture

Please study the attached picture; note every detail, from the sunglasses on the head, the hair length and color, the stubble (just the right amount) and the outfit...especially notice the jeans (takes a moment).

Your mission is to make sure that Clay Aiken adheres to this look at all times...especially while in concert, meet and greets (Oh Lord!) and any and all personal appearances.

At no time must he deviate from the "look"...(okay, the stubble may bother Parker, so he can shave in his off time)

I might also suggest that full length thudmats be designed to be sold at the OFC and all concerts for the safety and comfort of your fans (oxygen and defibrillators might not be a bad idea either)

Your prompt attention to the above matter is greatly appreciated.

(please excuse the drool and lipstick marks on the picture)

personal to Clay: "Are your sure you are gay? Really, really sure?

aikim.... BWAH!!! :hysterical::cryingwlaughter: Think they'll listen????

Here's a great wallpaper from Cotton at CV.

Thankful.... GREAT!!! It's my wallpaper now, so please thank Cotton!

muski.... glad to see your drool capacity has not dried up and withered during this time of little inspiration. This picture just hit me like a ton of bricks. GAH!!!
