I do miss some of the people on that messge board they are really sweet & now impossible to find. what picture are you talking about? The one where Clay went to see Diana in hairspray? or a different one? that would actually be pretty funny & cool

keeping looking at that picture trying to think who Merieee could think Clay looks like I thought he looked like a college guy. PKmiller i use to go to the RCA message board. It was just removed without notice. When you tried to go there it did send you to the OFC homepage. There was something posted there about wanting Clay fan's to have one place to meet (something like that)>

Couchie I read the same discussion about blogging here and the another board. It was so close it was almost word for word stuff. Oh well. I think some people had prejudices about gay people or had religious beliefs about homosexuality that will probably take longer to work through than people who have had gay people in their lives (through family or friends) and if this experience makes them work with those predjucies and not have them anymore I am all for it . I don't think working it out on Clay's fan board is the best place for them. Maybe they need to take a step back from the computer and reflect a little. Don't know if that makes sense or not.

Just stopping by before going to bed catching up on reading here one question Is this fandom really that small that we read the same posts on different boards? j/w Anyway, I love Clay Aiken have a great night everyone

Liney You met Barry Manilow? My mom also wanted to go to his concerts but Dad said we never had the money. Dad bought a concert CD & a tour book we pretended to be at the concert. I was 9 (?) and said I was going to do a pole dance to one of the songs. Never saw my dad turn such a shade of purple. I had no idea what I said at the time

A friend of mine went to the New Kids on the Block reunion tour concert they had something similar with the catwalk. They way people got the up close tickets? My friend was in the last row, upper section and they were asked if they wanted to sit by the stage. Thought that was so cool. We found out later they did that at other shows.

Spike'smom I was just commenting too. Sometimes I think you can post something about Clay's career that isn't even bad at all and sometimes people take it as an attack on him when it isn't. But, I remember from the AI boards that certain contestants get bashed a lot on the main board. Usually they are my favorites & sometimes when someone posts something that isn't really negative or bashing you think it is because you have become so use to it. I don't know if that makes sense. I love what you wrote here. Makes so much sense yes, cool music is sometimes just the in music of the time. Some pop/rap/rock stars were so popular at one time are now not considered cool anymore and the once were. Sometimes not being cool is not a bad thing. sometimes making conversation & wondering about what/where/why Clay is singing songs is interesting to me. I tend to be a curious person. I really found it interesting when he was talking about OMWH & how he liked to choose the songs because of the lyrics.

Kim Have to admit he has sung some love songs that can be considered cheesy (Because You Loved Me, anyone?) but his interpretations have never struck me as cheesy.... you know, like Whitney Houston's covering of I Will Always Love You which one should never, ever mention to a Dolly Parton fan because panties will become wadded.
