Farewell to Sir Robin What a great run (again ) for Clay Does anyone know who will be playing Sir Robin now? I still think it is strange to end his run with so few shows left in Spam's run. Wonder why he would not just close the show? I am happy the cast & Broadway was so kind to him. I always thought he would be good on Broadway but I never imagined he would be in show where he really wasn't singing much. Okay still hope for a tour sometime in 2009

thanks ldyjocelyn guess we were right we are jinked since I think Clay did SD this whole weekend except the show we went to Oh well I am happy we at least got to see the show. I have to thankful for Christmas presents (that is how I got to go to the shows) My niece left a note and picture of killer rabbit for Clay. Doubt he will get it but I won't tell her that. She was so good in NY. She has some problems with ADHP and behavior issues (although she has been much better lately). My sister tried to put her on medicine but she started having chest pains so they took her off of that. We are just trying to be patient & figure things out. She can also be the sweetest kid ever.

I have always heard Ace is super nice to his fans. He does a lot for charity also. I hope you enjoy the show so sad all these shows are closing Bottlecap thanks for all those pictures. My niece and I just got back from Spamalot. I saw Clay in the show in his last run. I think he is so much better now (not saying he was ever bad) just seems more into the part or something. He is so funny. I kind of wish he would have just closed the show with the rest of cast. Surprise to me the first time we sat down in orchestra (paid $100 something a piece) could not see half the stage and the women behind us said all of Clay's lines with him. This time we were in the last row. Could see everything and I enjoyed the show so much more. NO SD so I guess my niece still has to wait. She wonders if she will go another 6 years. I went to the show 3 times. I am 0-3. My niece was with me twice. We think we are jinked. Tom signed my niece's poster of Clay. A really nice tall lady made sure he would get it (this was before we knew if Clay was going to SD or not so she had it ready). Tom said something about signing Clay's crotch. Funny but I guess he did realise it was for a 12 year old (she laughed so I think I will be okay w/her mom on that one). Than LOL came out. Wow she looks so different on stage and off. The nice tall lady again made sure my niece's poster is signed. The LOL said something about signing Clay leg. I love tall people

I am so excited about going to New York tomorrow!!! our train leaves at 7:30 and right now my niece is too excited to go to sleep!! I checked on line and the show isn't sold out (yet I guess) We are going to the Friday matinee. I have kind of prepared her (i hope) that Clay probably won't do SD. Last time we went ( I don't mean this any offense way) it was BC & they wanted $300 for a picture w/Clay there was no way even though it was for charity I could do it. that's 1/2 my rent. I felt guilty to think it stink because it was for charity but I still thought it stunk. My niece did as I told you get an Clay's autograph from Jerome. She told him she didn't have an extra $300 and he said he didn't either. But she was so bummed on the way home and I think had we not watched all those SD videos she would not have expected anything. So basically it was my fault for getting her hopes up.

Bottlecap I would shop with him or without him which ever he wants I am kind of easy when it comes to Clay Aiken Remember in his book he said something about his mom buying him ugly Bill Cosby sweaters well I guess he must have liked them more than he thought. But the jeans look good

all of those pictures are so cute but is it bad I really want to take him shopping for new clothes? hope that isn't to negative.

surprisly I think I am the only one not in love with Carrie. I don't hate her. I think she is talented just wish every other song on country radio wasn't her seems they just don't give anyone else at chance. Plus she was my least favorite concert I have ever gone to part her fault part not. She has zero personality on stage although she does have a pretty voice. Her light show during her concert was god awful and make me sick for a few days. Also she is the only performer I have ever seen who didn't introduce the band.

I saw Kelly last year for her My December tour. She was awesome. My only complaint is her concert was so short. I can't wait for her next cd have read lots of good things about it. The first single should be out soon

I think they did leak Trenyce's mug shot. it hurt her in the competition a lot. The show knows all those things going in about all the contestants. Many former contestants have said the show really investigates their backgroud. You will notice when things start to "leak" about contestants it's usually placed well for the show to increase ratings. Also TMZ seems to get all this stories about idols and it is (TMZ) one of the only tabloid type link allowed on AI.com have no words for Corey Clark Ruben I love him but he was pimped big time! thought Clay didn't win because the show thought he was gay in 2003 and still think it now (there is even a movie about it). But have always felt coming in second was the best thing that ever happened to Clay anyway so pooh on them

Hi Keeping Faith I skip the auditions altogether. I have since season 5. If there is someone good their auditions are always on YouTube. I just don't find them that funny. Most of them are fake and the ones that aren't I feel bad for those people (espcecially the ones who really have mental issues). Sorry I don't know that show you are talking about but it sounded good. Guess we will see about Clay. Maybe even a nice mention of him would be nice. I have heard lots of different things said about how they are going to do the wildcard. But right now Jennifer Hudson is probably more likely the wildcard they will mention.

that soldier's blog was really sweet I hope everyone is in New York safe or got home safe. We are leaving tomorrow morning on Amtrak. My niece has been counting down the hours since Monday & already has a snack bag packed. Last time we went Rick came to the stage door and there were only about 5 of us. ( a few people came by from other shows & said they just wanted to say hi to Clay). I looked like an idoit because Rick signed my playbill I took his picture then he went & signed the other 4 people's stuff and came back to sign mine again. In my mind I was thinking what to I do do I flip the book over so he doesn't see he already signed it? Am I that forgettable that he can't remember signing my book 2 minutes ago? While thinking this he was just looking at me and then just walked away.

I have watched all 7 seasons of Idol. Although I liked lots of the contestants in season 7 I thought it was so predictable. Really by the top 8 it was very obvious that David Cook was going to win and David A was going to come in second. Season 7 was about who would come in 3rd place and I am not even sure after going to the tour that Syesha (who I rooted for because I always root for the underdog) was really the 3rd place finisher. As for Clay's OMWH I forget who said it but there are many people who don't know it is out there. It wasn't really promoted outside his fanbase. Some of the shows he was on to promote it Clay didn't even sing. The single they sent out to radio was the worst choice IMO. (OMWH is not a radio song). Also I was at Walmart the other day and there are zero Clay cd's there. I also don't think I will see Clay on AI again but maybe I will be wrong with them bringing the wild card back next season perhaps we will see Clay.

I hope next year Clay surprises us with a hit on the radio

thanks I am trying to learn every one's name even though I have been a lurker here since September (?) Yeah you do have to be careful about posting your pictures on the Internet. Vote for the Worst takes pictures from fan sites & post them & makes them into avatars & can desort them.

I don't think I have a home board. I post on AI.com as tribeca because I am so creative with names (same here it is the restaurant across the street from me) I am extremely bad at the Internet but I do try hard. I discovered Clay on AI & have tried to follow him ever since. I really liked this board because it didn't seem negative like some other Clay boards I lurked at I don't do anything for fun. I just work to survive. At least that's what it feels like these days

When you said control issues all I could think of is the kids (and my niece) I work with that have ADHP. I was picturing Clay being very hyper Those pictures are great!! Very happy for you and a little jealous too (not really I think )

have a great time You are quite brave to go on New Year's Eve Wish I could be more help but I just walked all over New York last time I went & almost missed the train home. How I wish I had more $$ and would just stay over. Starting to worry about the weather now.
