Yeah GLSEN!! Glad to see they made it. Has anyone told you how great Apple computers are? I know my mom gets 2 choices at work: personal day and vacation day. She took a vacation day for tomorrow and doesn't get paid for it. Now, if I had a job, I wouldn't be offered those kinds of days off. I'd be expected to go in. Luckily we're all prepped for tonight. We're still in a 10-15 inch range and we got blizzard and winter storm warnings up the kazoo.

What time is the snow supposed to start out there? They're telling us it's going to start tomorrow evening and we're gonna get hit with about 10-15 inches of snow... I hope it doesn't move in sooner cause I have a dentist appointment in the afternoon!

There are some veeerry good lookin players out there. One of my hometown/home team fave hotties is Justin Abdelkader. Hee!! I like that they gave Clay his own jersey. He always looks so good in them!

I'm getting all bouncy and excited inside..... 20 minutes!! ETA: Go Team Lidstrom! I know Clay will probably be on Team Staal... ack! LOL

I only have one too and there were about 65 entries for my city when I checked before bed last night. Memphis only had about 25. Lucky people there.... Clay was on waaaaaayyy too early for me to have caught that, so thanks for the recap, aikim. Hopefully we'll get the actual clip soon.

Hee! Love the new interview...sounds like a great tour, IMO! I liked that quote too ldyj. He's so cute. Sorry shortyjill but I'm not really a fan of Bruno Mars. Now, that's based on listening to only two of his songs on youtube, since I don't listen to the radio anymore. But for me, his voice was only ok and I really didn't like the songs that much. Maybe it's because it does sound so much like a lot of the other stuff out there, none of which I'm interested in. I love his singles, but his CD is a mixed bag of all different types of music. Take a listen to his song "Marry You". Really fun, and different from the others. He also wrote Cee Lo Green's current hit, "Forget You" which is a bit different style.

I love this: Bruno Mars is AWESOME!! I love his stuff. I just read an article he did with Rolling Stone recently and I couldn't help but think of Clay when he started talking about his music. Hey, what are the odds that Mars could write for Clay? I know, huge wishful thinking there...

SO excited about this!!!! Love hockey, love Clay!! bottle, they took NHL games off network channels starting in 2005. They complained it was messing up regular programming. I think the only hockey games shown on network channels now are the Winter Classic and the Stanley Cup Finals....I know, they really screwed it up. lol

I entered. I doubt I'll win anything from it but it's nice to have a chance.

Count me in as a happy camper... I read that last line as just a mention that he's got a tour coming up. I'm just happy for the publicity.

I've had my Clay stuff in a bin for a while... I was keeping magazines in zip lock bags and had things like the OFC letters and pictures framed but no where to put them. Most of my collection was in there except for posters and pictures I had on the wall which I had to take down when we moved. Now most of them are in frames but they're not hung on the wall...my bedroom still isn't set up how I'd like it and we've been here 5 months now. Packers played AWESOME last night!! Love em!!!!

I don't bother to promote because my peers just aren't into his kind of music. I've tried and it's never worked. I've been questioned and laughed at (though I think lovingly?) and so I don't bother. It's either them or I'm preaching to the choir through my social networks. Add to the fact that I'm unemployed and apparently un-hirable, that gives me very little finances to work with when it comes to ticket-buying, traveling, supporting, etc. I'm burned out when it comes to that. I love and enjoy Clay and will support him when I can, but this to me can't be done on my end. I feel absolutely horrible for him having to go to these lengths and I wish he would get out there and just promote himself. He does that so well in concert, and that takes up a lot more time, money and effort than writing a few words on Twitter.

It's been quite an interesting evening I am sad to read that the tour is in trouble... I haven't gotten to see him since Spamalot and I would be really depressed not being able to see him this year. And to top it off, hearing that it might be a long while till he tours again? Not doing me much better. *sniffle*

Dittoing ldyj's EEEEEEEE for aikim!!! ... I'm having my huge LOTR marathon today! It was almost derailed by a scratchy eye that last night I wasn't sure if it would go away or if I'd wake up with something like pink eye or I discovered I had another sinus infection and have to go to the doctor but I'm all good this morning! So I get my LOTR day! YAY! ETA: Just read my friend Spicey is home and doing fine. I guess where she lives she doesn't have to worry about the rising flood waters. She's very lucky in those regards.

Ausdon, I hope you stay safe. Do you know hn_spice (Spicey)? I just read that Caboolture is isolated due to flooding. Do you know if they're evacuating the town? It's so scary. I saw this video linked on Twitter to the flash flooding that happened in Toowoomba.... it's devastating and heartbreaking to see this happen to you all down there.

Well I'm no help, the only time I found a hotel in San Francisco was for a friend and she asked for a Super 8. I'm guessing you probably want something better.
