OM Goodness that brings back some bad memories. My Dad was from Liverpool and his relations all knew The Beatles! John's aunt lived across the sreet from my aunt and my cousin dated George for a while! She used to go to the Cavern all the time. My Dad would not take me up there to visit! I was sooo mad at him for a long, long time! I cannot wait to SEE Clay at my concerts! I honestly do not care what he sings...just sing! Though I would love a full version of When A Man Loves A Woman. I miss that voice As for the controversy king...I wonder if he is getting a giggle out of stuff now? At this point it just has to be so ridiculous how things are taken out of context and manipulated! If there is one thing I have learned over the past few years is how anything in the media can be changed to fit their agendas. It certainly has opened my eyes up to what I see in print and on TV. I don't believe much of anything any more......... Well unless it's good about Clay*g*

My goodness that just gives me the warm and fuzzies thinking about that scenario! I think that's a lot better than inventing Post-Its*g*

Sometimes I think I must live in an alternate universe! I have watched the Oprah show many, many times and I have yet to see what others see! I don't see him as being particularly hyper and I missed "happy" Clay completely. But then that always happens to me. I guess I end up in the Aiken Fog and don't see the small stuff. (Errr maybe not so small stuff*g*) I don't tend to study the videos too closely. I think it's because I don't want to be disappointed in it. Does that make any sense? Well wish me luck for Tuesday! I'm going to have my second cataract surgery and this time it's my "good" eye so the stakes are pretty high! The Doctor asked me what my expectations were and I told him all I wanted was to have correctable vision. What I really wanted to say was "I want to see Clay more clearly" but I don't think he would have understood!

Hee I was so excited that I actually ....you know......had Clack I didn't study the pics too much*g* I think he looks great but then I almost always do. I'm hoping my friend has some more but I don't want to bug her! Oh what the heck of course I will bug her!

Oh did I miss anything good on TV tonight? So Clay is in NY. Hmmmm! What else is he doing there? You know our guy doesn't like to waste his visits!

Hee I'm watching a special on Mary Magdalene....don't ask me why! Before that I was watching a re-run of the TV guide show on Clay. I think I'll go do some ironing....anything is better than IGB!

When is this NS thing in NY? Is it this weekend? Hmm.....curious minds want to know!

Oh god my husband thinks he is sooo funny! We were talking about how I can see better now even in my bad eye and he warns me not to be disappointed when I get the good eye fixed. I'm thinking it's that he's concerned that my vision will still not be as good as I hope for. No! he told me that once I see Clay clearly I will not like him as much! Fat chance....it's not all about the looks! I have watched the "darlin" clip mumble something times and it is just the sweetest thing! Could he get any cuter?

As kandre said evil is a relative term and we promise not to tell your relatives what you get up to with us*g* In May sometime we will be meeting at my house in The Woodlands to do nametags for the Houston shindig. You don't have to be crafty. Kandre has more craftiness than any of us! She'll have you hot glue gunning before you know it!

Could not wait to get back on the boards to see the UNICEF total. Wow...we done good! I'm loving the hat.....I bet he was told to wear the whole national dress so he would not stand out. I love the new look of the site. Very purdy just like our guy! I tried the password thing too but I also got incorrect. Was I doing something wrong? Well this week I am having the first of my cataract surgeries so I will be home for two days recuperating...yeah! thats it! Since I can't do anything strenuous, like housework etc. I think I'll just cruise the boards and watch Clack! No guilt for me! I just noticed what a pitiful post count I have! I find it hard to believe 'cos I'm really talkative in real life. I now have to tell my hubby that I am going to Raleigh to visit his brother without him! Why did you know that there is a Clay Aiken concert there, at the time I was planning on going? My what a coincidence!! I had no idea*g* My DH thinks he wants to retire to the area and wants me to check it out to see if I could live there. Since it is his idea I guess I will have to go. Hee!

Clay, Clay, Clay......so you think you can buy me? Offering a paltry picture or two for $50 dollars? Oh boy where is that debit card? Hee! I just got off the phone with my hubby (John) and told him I will be seeing some of the eHP this weekend. I also told him very nicely that I will be having a Claycentric house party on the 5/6/7 July. Now this man travels all and I mean all of the time. He only comes home about once a month, brings home a paycheck and then leaves! (Sigh! you have to do what you have to do!) He is such a sweetie because he said he'd better find somewhere to go that weekend, if he was home. He said that the girls probably would like Juan the pool man but not John the pool man*g*

All I can say is I am going to have one hell of a good time in Houston! I have some great friends to party with (some of whom i've never even met) and If that's the only one I am going to get to, then I am going to make it count for all it's worth! I WILL look at the bright side! One is better than none and I missed the JBT so I know about none!

This is going to sound pretty dumb but how does one know which is an "Elite" Board and which isn't? I guess I haven't followed the boards too much as I really don't have a clue as to the make-up of any board. Is there a sooper secrit list somewhere? Hee Hee I joined one board and found another one I liked and applied and became a member! No big deal, I thought it was that easy all over the fandom. Isn't it? I must say that since I recently found a home here, I am really enjoying the spirit of this board. Great conversations...respecting everyone's viewpoint. very refreshing. Thanks

I am at work right now getting ready for the Shell Houston Open golf tournament ( want any tickets?)and I snuck in to see what was happening! I'm glad you joined us ...the antipodes! Just yesterday I told Kandre I was in for Asheville & Cary but with Dallas that was it. I had to stop somewhere. I have to fit in a trip to England this summer. (Scarlett says I can go in the fall! Ha Ha) Then I get this call from her and guess what I don't have to got to another concert because Clay is bringing one to me! Yes that's right It's all for meeeee! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe I am so excited I can hardly stand it! Kind of makes up for walking into a door yesterday and giving myself a black eye. Oh it's a real shiner but it will be gone by the time Clay comes here!!!!!!!!!! Hey y'all come on down ya hear!
