I never have anything worthwhile to say and it doesn't stop me*g* Hello to all the newbies and despite my pitiful post count I am quite a long time member. I'm here all, and I mean all of the time, just watchin' and takin' notes!!!!

Weee that was fun last night!! Who would have thought a little (snerk) ol' picture would have had such a reaction. I hope some of the people who came and lurked last night come back 'cos this really is a fun board and run by some great people (OK here endeth the suck up). ETA: Ooh 132 posts in 2 years...I've got to dial it back a notch!

Why yes it was.!! I was standing in front of the stage at Frisco and loved every minute of it...even the over the top "Like A Virgin". I can definately see how he improved over the duration of the tour but there was something special about the first show. But my favourite is still Knoxville. For me the stars aligned for that one. I'm just sad it is over. It seemed to go so fast. Hurry up Xmas tour!!

Since I've never done this before I'll take a simple one so I can't mess up (I can hear Kandre saying "wanna bet"). How about WKRP? Now tell me what I have to do! I have always figured if I can see them, they can see me and was not proven wrong until I saw Clay's Clack! besides I never do anything wrong!! Now where's that angel wing emoticon?

{{{{{Kandre}}}}} I just heard her flight was cancelled. The weather here in Houston is awful. We are getting the effects from TS Erin and we are getting 3-4 inches of rain an hour. It is supposed to pass over this afternoon but will that be enough time to get to FL? Where is keepingfaith? She hatesss to fly!!!! ETA: I just talked to keepingfaith and she doesn't leave until tomorrow!!!

Filtering through the "intense fan" filter, it was OK. I didn't hear anything bad and believe me I was waiting to cringe and I didn't. Sexy back is OTT and taken as a parody, which is what they said, not bad at all. Hey JennaZ any chance of getting together with the eHP while you are in Houston?

Clay Aiken will be featured on the Daily10 on the E! Channel! Bringing Sexy Back! Dare we watch? ETA: It wasn't that bad. They said it was a parody and they showed the YouTube video. No real snide comments at all.

It is funny that today I could not get the vision of Clay, as that creature with lots of arms in Spiderman, out of my mind! I know I'm weird! I guess I should explain....but first Knoxville is by far my favourite concert evah!! To me everything was perfect, all the stars were aligned and everything came together just right. The voice..oh god the voice......I just cannot put it into words. The jokes were funny, the schtick was cute, I had the perfect seat (muah to Solo) and the venue was beautiful but the voice was sublime. You know I think I need some more adjectives*g* I don't know what it was but Clay took me to a whole other place last night! I have never felt how I did last evening. I felt that he was sending out invisible tentacles that took you (and especially your heart) by surprise, held on and never let you go! Hence the Spidey reference! I don't want those tentacles ever to let me go...I'm blissfully happy in his little net. Oh and I hate wine and it hates me so the wine Kandre drank was not really mine I was just the substitute poureee! I'm really not good at recaps so so as to what Kandre said...Yeah That! Oh and did I mention the voice? The last few days epitomized, to me, what this fandom is all about. The weekend was spent with the bestest travelling buds, old (though not in years) friends, new friends, lots of Board buds and I cannot wait to do it again. We fell in love all over again with a wonderful man who can sing like there is no tomorrow...yeah it's the voice again. We laughed, smutted, sang ( no we are not that good now you ask*g*) , got no sleep and generally did act like we were 12 years old! keepingfaith my post is bordering on the schmoopie and I won't apologize for it. (Oh by the way I missed both you and 00lsee!) Kandre alluded to something at the bus line last night that was a little OTT but after thinking it over I don't think I will post about it. Less said the better and people's impressions are all different and through their own filters!

Well I'm back! Did you even know I was gone? England was wet and I got to see Orlando Bloom up close....like 3 feet away.....Sw..a..oon!!!!!! He is gorgeous!!!! I am so tired that I don't even have the patience to type:) Anything been going on? I missed the board so much. I hate limited Internet access. Oh my kitty, that had been with us for 22 years, died while I was gone. Not great to come home to! My hubby told me I missed a talk show that Clay was on! It was a repeat of Tyra! He said it put Clay in a whole different light for him. He was very entertaining and funny and thought Tyra treated him like a human being. Wow that was praise indeed from him. eeeee I get to see Clay this weekend. I m so excited!

He sounds so good and just gets better and better. I will miss him while I'm in England next week but I will just have to console myself with tickets to see Orlando Bloom in a play in London! No good seats left but I'm in the house. (Ah the joys of Ticketmaster.) I'm trying to talk my daughter into going to the stage door to get a handshake but she's not like her Mother! Ok explain this......here I am packing for my two week trip to England and I am getting all down because I'd rather be going with my buds to see Clay!! For the first time ever I am going home with almost no plans! My daughter and I are going to London first and then we are going to go to the train station and see where the trains are going to and we are going to hop on whichever one takes our fancy!! I don't have hotel reservations or anything. Tell me I'm not a little bit crazy. Hee! At least I speak the language*g* I also will have no internet for two weeks! I hope nothing big like footgate occurs I don't want to have to read it in England y'all. Oh and that picture, well just GAH!!!!!! He can look at me like that anytime!

OMG Isn't he just gorgeous????? My SIL asked me today if I was becoming a fanatic? Hey there is no becoming about it! I am and VERY proud of it (and him)!!!!!!!!

jamar1700 I too went from a 5 min. commute to one of 40 (on a good day). Don't forget the one benefit of that is you get to listen to Clay uninteruppted for all that time!!! And somehow I don't think rcknrllmom could ever in a million years be mistaken for Kandre*g*

Just remember to keep the shiny side up and use a firm but gentle pressure.

Ldyj you forgot the Cheez Doodles!!!! They are the official snack of the eHP! We can travel the length........ahhh ... ok where was I...oh yes and breadth of this land if we have a goodly supply of them. Since we can't buy them in Texas we import them!!! So that makes then gourmet. I have had more fun today with the boards. Hee! Clay provides us with more entertainment and he's not even here. God it's great to be a Clay fan with like minded souls!!!!!
