My mother used to make a Trifle and put cake and fruit cocktail in the Jello part (oops jelly part*g*) Then vanilla pudding on top covered with real whipped cream (not your fancy aerosol kind) and nuts and cherries. My husband grew up on Charnina too..loves the stuff! Yuck!!! I think I will stay over here today! :eusa_whistle:

Hi spikesmom. You will find this board will welcome you with open arms. If you look at some of the posters joining dates you will find a lot of them are fairly new and have indeed become Postwhores. It is just plain fun here and has room for all opinions and styles of posting whether it be serious, goofy or smutty! Although I will say it's the smutty posts seem to go over really well!

One of my mother's favourite dishes was brains on toast and my dad's was pigs trotters!!!! I think that must have come from WW2 because nothing was wasted back then. I really have to try NC BBQ next time I'm in Raleigh. I'm willing to try anything once and only once. It's funny I love almost all ethnic food but simple things like Mac & Cheese and Krispy Kremes I just hate. (Hee I find other things to make me fat*g*) Well I ventured out to see what's going on in other places and I wish I hadn't it is just making my head and heart ache! Clay has to be a really stong man to put up with some of the crap people spew and these are his fans who supposedly only want the best for him. There is an underlying animosity to people that I just don't get! I would hate to know these folks in the real world.

Hee I quoted myself! I really should explain. When I first came to this country my DH asked me to make him a PB&J sandwich. Well in England jelly is Jello and I had never eaten Peanut Butter! So as I had lime Jello made I made a sandwich with it! I saw nothing wrong with it, to me Jello was jelly. My Hubby, of 3 weeks, gallantly ate it and then explained to me the difference. We still laugh about that even after 38 years. Now I actually use Blackcurrant Jam. Yum!

That's it I'm outta hear......I just can't take it any more! Oh the agony of people posting things I just cannot stand. First it was that snowflake pic and now talking about grapes!!!!!! I hate grapes...hate the smell...hate the texture! When I was a kid and grapes were a luxury item and rationed in England I took all the skins off of a bunch and ate the pips!!! I had never seen them before. My mother went crazy and I remember the smack to this day! I think I was about 3 and even now grapes just make me shudder! Weird I know! Just don't get me started on eggs*g* Ok where is the "I love the FCA" emoticon when you need it? OMG those are some mighty fine jeans!! I think I'll stay!

Just stay here where it's nice and cozy and we are all good people...well except for those who are eveel*g* Besides there are some awesome pictures posted and let's not mention the emoticons (or the smut)!!!!!! I too get disgusted at times and then I remember if I didn't go read this s**t then I would be far happier! So in a way I only have myself to blame for it. I am trying to not go to "those" places that are doom & gloom factories, even when everything seems to be rosy.
