The artistry that Clay shows just simply floors me! I really think his talent is so under appreciated by many people fans and non-fans alike. To me the problem is that he makes it look so easy. It's as if what he does is just no big deal. After listening to both the medleys again and again I have become so much more cognizant of his immense talent. To switch from one song and genre to another, the way he does, is just so well done and with what appears to be such ease that I am just in awe of him. You just have to be a real artist to be able to do that. So it appears that the only benefit of being a Mod is there is no edit counter. Well pfft who needs an edit counter anyway. I always figure if I don't edit something in my posts then I'm not posting properly*g*

Oh muski I feel your pain I had a heck of a Sunday. It's 95 here and I had to force myself to float in my pool listening to the TV Medley, all afternoon! It was tough I tell you but someone has to do it! I loved Frisco! It was Clay and that was all I needed. I was seeing a first show, with all of it's quirks & foibles, for the first time (Is that a groan I hear from muski & cg?) :F_05BL17blowkiss: But the best part was watching keepingfaith's face when she saw Clay live, for the very first time. Some memories are priceless! A toast of welcome to all the newbies! You can never be surrounded by too many people who love and want only the brightest of futures for Clay. :bier:

Hee keepingfaith, glad your foot is better. I do hope that having a bad foot is not going to be a requirement of keeping my membership in the eHP*g* And we are not as bad as people say...just ask kf...she met us only recently and we didn't scare her off (at least not yet). Ha within minutes of meeting her we invited her to go to Frisco with us on the condition she drove an extra car and take a couple of people she had never met! Of course she said yes and the rest as they say.......

OO I love peoples stories!!! I can’t wait to bore you with mine! I watched Clay on AI from the beginning but didn’t “get” him until I had my daughter find me some videos on the ‘net. After watching Everlasting Love for a gazillion times I was a goner! That note…yeah you know the one…just got me. From that point on I just soaked up every performance. I was devastated he lost and remember thinking I would never see him again. That to me was worse than him losing. I didn’t understand what was happening to me, still don’t. Doing some internet research I found the Clayboard first and through them found CH and then FCA. I joined a long time ago and never posted much until recently. I love the fun on this board. I am basically a glass is always full kind of person and hate controversy and angst in the fandom, of any kind. Get enough of that in real life! I met 00lsee one day in a parking lot, got in her car and drove off into the greatest adventure of my life! I have met some truly wonderful people who have enriched my life so much. I am a proud member of the eHP (evil Houston Posse) and no we are not evil just enthusiastic*g* (I have never in my life closed down bars and been almost thrown out of a restaurant for having too much fun!) I didn’t have sororities, sleepovers, proms or anything like that growing up in England and I think I am making up for that now. You haven’t experienced anything until you travel with the eHP. What a blast! I moved here in ’69…I traveled here to marry my DH. Gee some things never change! I am now traveling following another man. My hubby is gone all the time and only comes home twice a month so I have plenty of time for my little hobby. I have a daughter who teaches 11th grade English to mostly minority kids and I work for a non-profit organization that puts on a PGA TOUR tournament. My screen name is my maiden name-Merrie with added eees just for fun. You'll never find me posting anything too profound, just fun, happy, in fact merrie stuff! Hee! Hee! I do have to live up to my screen name after all!

Count me in as a banter lover too! Clay sings every song so beautifully that after a while I would think that without the banter it might get to be somewhat much of a muchness. Beauty on beauty on beauty. With the banter every concert is different and I cannot wait to see the Clack, to see his expressions and goofiness. I have seen many people in concert and rarely if ever have I gone to see them more than once. In fact Clay is the only person that I will see the same concert in a tour more than once. It is just so entertaining and fun. He is a delight that brings us something new everytime.

I wanted to welcome all the new folks. I love it here and I think you will too! Everyone really is entitled to their own opinion and we may not all agree but we all get along and basically want to have fun. A Clay message board without fun is just...well boring and this place is far fom boring! Wow this maybe my longest post evah*g*
