  1. Funny, huh? I don't know what I think except that he is one smart kid. He's able to laugh at himself. He doesn't take it too seriously. He's capitalizing on every second. Hmm, kinda like someone else I know...you mighta heard of him. Hee. And yeah, I don't think he pulled one over on anyone during AI; I think he's making the most of it now. Shrewd is a good word. Thanks for The View link play. I love people who have strong opinions and don't hold back. I don't have to agree with them to like them and I like Rosie just fine. I like to know where people stand without having to read between any lines. Maybe that's why I like ya'll! But then I'm one of those who likes Simon too. Has anyone seen his True Hollywood Story? I watched it the other day and thought it was interesting how he was a little opinionated brat when he was a kid, dropped out of school, and pretty much built himself up from the mailroom. Exactly my sentiments! All successful Idols increase the market value for them all. The more success each one has, the better IMO. And they are all getting smarter at the game too... like Survivor contestants... learning to work the system. Circle back to first comment. Wha? Clive said "Clay"? Heh. Re-circle.
  2. I'm not entirely sure Sanjaya didn't make out like a bandit - and deservedly so. He figured out how to capitalize on the show and a huge opportunity to his own benefit - the American dream... Hell, he's MY American Idol just for that alone. Plus... who knows what goes on in these people's minds. Google Sanjaya News and you'll come up with an MTV article: which leads to this video. Hilarious. Something tells me, whether I believe this story or not, that Sanjaya is gonna be just fine. http://www.tmz.com/2007/05/22/sanjaya-human-art-project/
  3. *practices* Your "friend" has been waiting for about 4 years now. Hee. Oh boy, that hair is somethin' else. He's a funny man though!
  4. That's what I was thinkin', seein' as how I was nominated and all. I'll be happy to make the artwork if ya'll want me to. I haven't had time to look to see if "Clay Aiken" is allowed; they do have rules against unofficial band merchandise and such, so it's possible. I'm not even sure that "Goddamned Clay" stuff was OUR Clay-related. If you go to Cafe Press and do a search on Clay, you get all sorts of stuff; some obviously Clay-related and other stuff, about other Clays.... (there are others?!?!). I thought of it as couchie and artquest did and just thought it was funny. Haters schmaters... who has time?
  5. With either zazzle.com or cafepress, you can create a shirt design and buy ONE if you want. So, we could create a template and everyone can fill in their own, upload a jpg with the design on it, using whatever text you want, and order just one for yourself of whatever style shirt you want, or coffee mug, or whatever... OR, we can make one shirt with blanks and a bunch of choices on the back from which to choose, like your idea, muski. Mix and match, and then people can just sharpie in their choice or make up their own. I think the got clack shirts came from zazzle. But I've used cafe press too. I'm not sure if you can use "Clay Aiken" or not... they might reject it, so I'll look into it. But there is alot of "Clay" stuff... this one in Men's wear, CMSU: http://www.cafepress.com/buy/clay/-/pv_des...pt_/fpt_/c_360/ Hee. Or maybe we could give this one to Clay: http://www.cafepress.com/buy/clay/-/pv_des...pt_/fpt_/c_360/
  6. Cafe Press, baby. Anything's feasible! (except maybe that being my actual figure - heh)
  7. Good Lord, people... Chatty much? I'm gone one stinkin' day and it takes me HOURS to catch up! I LMAO most of the time too. Thanks! Hee. I find the concept of onboard personas vs. real life personas interesting as hell. I can't imagine faking who you are. I mean, I guess I think people on the boards are exactly who they are in person. I think I am. Maybe not though. I don't try to be any different than in person. But I definitely find it easier to express myself in person, so I hold back from posting many a thought. Maybe people see differences more because of how you're read vs. how you post. Kinda like when you talk to someone on the phone for years and then finally meet them. So many of your own preconceived notions go out the window. And yet, they are just the same. Dunno. It's interesting though. Me? I'm just as reasonable in person! --- bwah... kidding! I'm a bitch. I guess I'll just have to meet artquest someday so she can love me too. :medium-smiley-070: I did dream about you the other night... isn't that funny? You were planting iris' in my backyard with my neighbor's mom. Hee. Thanks, they were lovely! All the T-shirt ideas are great! I hope you really make some. I think it'd be entertaining to make them all the same with lines for filling in the place and description - I did Clay Aiken in _________ and it was ________. And give sharpies away with them. People can make their own. It would be amusing to see what they come up with. Of course, it could be skeery in some instances... Hee for the newest member's name. Somehow I feel like I might know that person. LOL! That first picture from the AMAs is the best! I love how he's pulling back his hair. I love the color of his hair. I love that I can see his face. It's just damn beautimous! Anyway, I got nothin'! Just wanted to check in and feel caught up and say I'm totally game for the chats! I'll try to think of some topics. God, KarenEh!?, you already know you're funny as hell, don't you? Don't you? Cuz, really... you are! I missed you chach! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Thanks for the links! *tosses muski some velcro* ETA... I can't figure it out either, play! Is it from when he sang Hello? You can almost barely hear it in the background, but those damn people won't shut up. LOL!
  8. Well, drat. Left off the popular kids list again. And dudley managed to say what I happen to believe to be closest to reality without insulting anyone else's reality. That's what gets me; the insistence that if the rest of us don't agree, we're stooooopid and can't see the writing on the wall. That's not a conversation; that's condescension and manipulation... and I just can't play that. It's too angry or something. Meh.
  9. Aren't they, though? I've been thinking that all morning. How thoughtful of some fans to wear a tribute to Clay's recording company on their lapels. How very Fiona Apple fan of them. I'm with you LMF. Don't believe it now, nor have I the last 20 times it was postulated. couchie... David Foster is a producer with Warner Bros. He also has his own record label (143/Reprise) which releases (The Corrs, Buble, Groban, Olstead, etc.) under the Warner umbrella. He did act as Executive Producer on John Stevens album. And Kat sang at his last fundraiser in Niagara Falls. Seems he loves all his American Idols, not just Clay. And it also seems her fans have the same wishlist some of Clay's fans do. In response to a "bad" review of her album: Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Thanks, FCA, for being here....and Karen, Eh! and keepingfaith for the laughs! turdblossom....
  10. I fucking love baseball. Muski... I hope you stuck around for that ending! WooT A's! Happy Mother's Day, all!
  11. Heh, I'm not shoveling, am I? Here are some pics from the x17 site... you can't right-click them there and the text around them is just plain dumb... no mention of where these are from.
  12. These are from Ellen the other day... looks like Ang to me. Back to shoveling dirt - have to reline the compromised veggie box with gopher wire (grrr)... then another nap... then I think I'll join Claygasm in a Netflix movie.
  13. Ok, I just started imagining that with the horse and the beard and the singing and I almost choked laughing! Hee!! KeepingFaith... thanks a bajillion for those Jon links. LOVED them! I've been over there for awhile now clicking link after link.
  14. Ohhhh, it was YOUR birthday, clayzor!? Silly girl. Next time, don't be so subtle! Here's a little sumpin' for this year... ...and next! :F_05BL17blowkiss: That's all I got right now...

    Did you see it?
  16. Most definitely! Heresy, blasphemy.... something "sacred" is involved - that's all I know! *signs up for a clayzorback speshul butterscotch milkshake* Who's birthday is it? < --- and how come these dancers are so pissed off?
  17. Just so you know, you're not alone in your blasphemy. I also think it's just okay. I love IYDKMBN wayyyy better! TLS, though. LOVE!! Hee, on preview, I see I'm mind-melding with couchie!
  18. Did you know Greg was just here in SF over the weekend doing a book signing? http://www.threecupsoftea.com/BookTour2007.php#sanfran One article about him... of many. http://www.gregmortenson.com/media.php Interesting stuff... and yeah, the comparisons seem endless. Thanks again for the reminder. I hadn't bought the book yet, though it's been sitting in my Amazon cart. Click.

Whoa. Milo was lookin' pretty slimy there talkin' to Nadia, but I didn't want him to die. Dayum. Grampa is one freeky fucked up dude, is he not?
  20. {{Clayzor}} I've been thinking of you lots! I'm so glad to hear things are looking up! :F_05BL17blowkiss: And I'm always ready to give my darling diva a . I can totally tell the difference with Clay's final teeth product changeamabob. They look like they fit in his mouth better now. Or he's gotten used to them. Or I have. Heh. I just don't get how one person can look so freakin' different all.the.time. I take the same shitty picture no matter what my hair looks like. Barbecue is a noun alright. It's that big ol' metal thing on my back porch. If I were to tell someone I was having BBQ, they'd ask, "BBQ what?". Anywho... hi.
  21. Actually, he was linked to getclayaiken.com, because of some bitchy post I made about too much mothering. Heh. How embarrassing though. Hee. I thought the caption was funny too, but apparently, not everyone did. Ooops! Someone remind me why I venture out. He closed his comments section, thank God. I love KTLA Clay. But you know who I miss? God, he's cute!!
  22. Yo! Welcome to Totally! And hugs to Mr. Clayzor! Did ya'll check out mee2u2s hi res video from UNICEF with no UNICEF voiceover. You can hear every peep out of Clay's mouth. If you liked that baby cooing, hold on to your... er, whatever you feel like holding. LOL. They are really amazing!! Don't miss 'em! Pax put links to d/l here, on the CH. Scroll down to her post almost at the bottom of this page: http://www.theclackhouse.com/bb/viewtopic....c&start=850 :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  23. The new FCA is lookin' so purdy! I noticed just a couple of things. 1) The BAF banner/logo thingy at the bottom of the page covers over the right column, and therefore some of the events text, on short pages: This page, for example. 2) The orange text on the aqua (in the events column) pretty much disappears for me toward the right end of the aqua color gradation - I have to enlarge my font to read it. Could be that I'm an old lady, but it's pretty tough to read for me. I checked in IE too and had the same issue. I clicked around and all the linkies worked and everything else looked beautimous. Love the favicon. Oh, look. My member number and my age match! *cough* :kos:
