  1. Wee, I'm someone's girl! Hee. Happy Birthday, JennaZ! :00003653: Yay, KeepingFaith joined!!! I gotta go get ready to go meet my girls... Hee! *grabs toilet seat covers* LOL! Moon River kinda freaks me out, but who cares... it's Clay. It's gotta be entertaining. But where is my NoCal concert, dammit!!!
  2. That pretty much covers it. LOL! Ooo, extras... I like the sound of that. Wouldn't that be the coolest?
  3. And to take it further... they really think he IS that person, but is being held back by RCA/Clive/the evildoers. Heh...sometimes when you're posting do you get caught up looking at the banner and forget what you were gonna say...? Lookit that second face... aww. Anywhoooo... Yeah I don't get them, but whatever. I finally got over being mad about it (and believe me, I was pisssssssed) and now I just roll my eyes. It's not the opinions; it's the lack of room for anyone else's. So, I don't bother anymore. Nor do alot of others. It's a shame, really, but new boards will spring up or come to more life (like here) and it'll all balance out. Such is life. So, what's the plan for Saturday, yo? Can I drive up to get you East Bay ladies and hop over to SF with you, or should we meet somewhere, or? I'm easy. Clayzor... :F_05BL17blowkiss: Just cuz.
  4. Ooo, that's interesting djs. Thanks! couchie, I have not yet gotten to Menopause - heh, both meanings!! Seriously, I'm game for just about anything in the city, so whatever ya'll wanna do is fine by me. I might want to drive across with you east bayers though. A quick drive up 17 and then we can all go over the bridge (eep) together?
  5. Hee!! Had to save that one! Hey lookie, it's Clayzor and Shady. Fancy seeing you here. *waves to that contrarian, FullyFunctional* < -- what the hell is that? A bananamousse? Bananas Flambe?
  6. Oh, did I just have a flashback...? Heh. Methinks a little revisiting is in order.
  7. BWAH... I'm turning into muskifest! Legs. Two. In the Air. WooT! I can feel it. What? :medium-smiley-070:
  8. I think we have the same illness. Sucked, didn't it? Nope, I didn't see any evite... just the PM from you the other day. I'm still good for it though.
  9. indeed. As opposed to hairy ass, of course. I'll take Hairy Ass for 100, Alec! :04: :party038:
  10. OMG, you guys are killing me. It means Clay's on his way to looking like Martin Scorsese! I heard from my sister's aunt's cousin's gardener's uncle who works for RCA that Clive mandated the new teeth to help keep the grannies interested. And the grampies can join in too now that the focus is off the crotch and back on the great white north. Oh, dare I hope?? Chiclet Support Group: You think we have it bad? Imagine how the chiclets feel... *Do you know how many dogs there are out there named "Chiclet"? Hee.
  11. Crap, I had this all ready to post last night and I went to go let the dog out and forgot to come back. Like Add Reply is so hard to do... Heh. Anywho.... Happy Birthday, luckiest1! Hee!
  12. Aww, I think some people are just sad for the chicklets. I know I'll miss them. His cute teeth were one of my favorite parts of him to drool over. Of course it's his mouth and his choice and not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of him, but for those who lurve the chicklets, it's just a small period of adjustment. I bet even he's looking in the mirror occasionally going WTF? LOL! It's the fans that simply cannot allow those of us who need a minute to take one, and those fans who need to ascribe some overdramatic reason for it all that just make the whole thing blow way out of proportion. I tried to be part of the OFC for awhile, but I gave up about a month ago. There's WAY too much bitterness and contrived, planned passive-aggressive - hell, outright aggressive BS going on at that place. It's ridiculous! Who wants to spend their time constantly bickering and trying to be important?! Anywho, I love that Clay Aiken fella even without his little teefies. He's a tiger. Hee. I just watched the Candy Song on YouTube about 40 times. How cute is that thing? I wonder how his meeting is going? Did he take a red-eye? Attend via phone? Not go?
  13. I joined your chapter on the BAF site and made a donation. Am I supposed to tell you too?
  14. Hee, that reminds me of the day I drove 17 hours straight from New Hampshire to Toronto to drop off Kav and Sylvie and then down to Detroit to catch a flight home. And that was after driving 15 two days earlier from Toronto to NH. I've never been so tired in my life. Best trip ever though! We even stopped in Vermont for a Mooses On Parade lunch. Or, maybe it was cancelling my flight home from Delaware the morning of the DC IT because I just couldn't NOT go (even though I'd already been chasing Clay from Philly thru NY). We found tickets that morning in the 2nd row at the end of the catwalk. We drove from Delaware 1/2 the way, then took the train - we had no idea what or where we were going, and we made it about 10 minutes before the show started. I took my first stubble shot there! WooT! I was SOOO excited. Then we took the train back at midnight and got off at the wrong station. We were all alone in a bit of a seedy area for about an hour and we couldn't have cared less. We swooned the whole time... mmm, sweaty Clay. I think I started reading fic the next day! Hee. Ahhh, memories! jmh123, I totally remember you doing the Anaheim trip. I remember thinking you were quite the business-woman doing that! Hee. Luckiest1... what does your siggy mean...I've been meaning to ask for weeks!
  15. Yeah, right, playbiller... I'm gonna enter an emoticon challenge with you!?! You already stomped my butt with the pod mobile! Hee. I got nuthin' really. Just sayin' hi. I tried to read around this morning, but... I'm learning to not let anyone pee in my sandbox! It's frickin' freezing here - 23 degrees last night. The coldest I can ever remember around these parts. Heh, ok, now I'm just makin' shit up. I haven't read any fic in a year, muski. I think it's about time I start again, don't you? Peace out! I'm gonna go try to resuscitate my frozen jade plants!
  16. Hee. Exactly. It did seem to me like the timeline was off at first - I had to reread it a few times, but the message seemed pretty clear to me too. Ya'll realize that this is one of the only boards left that isn't mired down in misery about Clay's career? You're my safety net. I come here every day to be rejuvenated. It's only a matter of time before you're stuck with me. I tried (I know, I know) to start an ATD Impact thread at the OFC and it just became a magnet for cynicism and mocking. That was my last attempt there... for reals. I'm hardly the "positive police" but for God's sake, people... why be in a fandom if you're pissed off all.the.freaking.time? playbiller, you've been cracking me up with the emoticon unveilings. Here's another version of alien/PP for ya: My favorite is still this one though... Happy weekend, everyone!
  17. Merry Christmas, FCA! I adore you guys... I haven't yet figured out how to wedge myself into the mix, but I'm here stalking you like I stalk Clay Aiken reading your every word! Someday I'll just jump in. Bet you can't wait! Hee. Wishing you all the best for the holidays. 2007 is gonna rock -- I just know it!!!
  18. Multiple choice: A. Thread Title!!!!11one!!eleven! B. I'd like to see that. C. WORD!
  19. Aww, couchie... it was a great concert! I wish I'd taken video. But... I took pictures instead. Here's my recap from that night, originally posted on WMS: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WARNING!!! Way long post! Driving to Sacramento - left a bit early to avoid traffic. Drove up in my convertible with Gonzo strapped in the back looking out over the trunk - he was very visible! About 5 miles from the Arena I noticed a 3-bus convoy up ahead. As we got closer I realized that it was Clay's buses. Drove along side them for a bit - don't know if they noticed Gonzo or not, but if ANYone looked out the window, he was totally obvious. Of course, I got quite the giggle out of it. My SIL knew then and there she was in for a crazy night. Eeeeeee... We tried to stay with them, but they were going about 50 mph, so I had to move on. Slowed down a bit to make sure it was them, and sure enough they got off the right exit. We tried to get into the parking lot to make triple-sure, but they wouldn't let us in for another hour. C'est la vie. That was definitely the beginning of our fun. Got to Arco Arena a bit early to meet my niece, she was late. We walked around to the back to prove to SIL that it was indeed Clay's bus we were driving with. Of course, it was. We also registered to win M&G, but didn't, and then sold my leftover Row 8 tickets (JC and Abi's tickets) to a VERY happy young lady who hugged the stuffing out of me! The radio station upgraded the people who had the "worst seats" in the house. This girl had the second worst seats. So she was quite pleased and so was I. Had fun watching the the "boys" play a bit of basketball before work. Check out Jerome in his Tampa Jersey! http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...Basketball2.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...JeromeTampa.jpg Ok, 5th Row, 3 seats in from catwalk - very cool, except totally unappreciated by those around us. Three women next to us (in the 3 seats right NEXT to the catwalk) SAT the entire concert! Row 4, right next to catwalk - a MAN who also SAT the entire concert. Gah! I was pulling out my hair and they were completely unmoved. Maybe I'm nuts? I really liked Kelly. She was adorable with her fans. One girl tossed up a homemade t-shirt to Kelly during a song. Kelly picked it up and loved it. Put it on, bantered a bit and just really made the fans day. (she was a little confused about who gave it to her at first, but when it was all cleared up, it was all good). She proved to Clay that she can indeed put her feet up to her face when she declared her feet not smelly by way of sniffing them herself. It was kinda cute. She rocked IMO; was not screaming and seemed to be havin' a great time. The more I see of her the more inclined I am to buy her albums. By the time Clay came out I was a quivering mess of anticipation. I dialed and positioned myself to find him coming from somewhere in back. Whether you've seen it once or a hundred times, the anticipation of looking for him in the arena while Kyrie starts is just way too fun! He came down the far aisle to the steps directly in front of us. http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...tTour/Kyrie.jpg Kyrie was explosive. Overall, Clay was in top form and he was very playful, very strong, very goofy, very sexy, very ON. Green Bondage outfit - not my fave, but who cares. He can wear any darn thing he wants and I would barely notice. His face and body and voice were so expressive last night his clothes were completely irrelevant. http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...Tour/Kyrie2.jpg Perfect Day... man I wish I had more pictures of this song. He was totally acting it up, pumping his fists, dancing around, having a blast. His facial expressions were priceless. He was just being a total goofball. This one is not goofy, but.. really, he was. I have his goofball faces burned into my retinas! http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...dentTour/PD.jpg Hello Sacramento... http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...oSacramento.jpg One from NMSS... http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/NMSS.jpg When Sherrie and Clay were singing WYSYLM to each other! And then he kissed her hand... his lips were on her skin! Not a peck, a KISS... A delicate, lingering kiss... GAH! http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...our/Sherrie.jpg Invisible Tease, Taunt, and Touch... (people stood for this song...) http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s.../Invisible1.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...isibleTease.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...isibleTouch.jpg Um, I did survive you...but just barely. Growly Clay is my weakness. http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/ISY1.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/ISY2.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/ISY3.jpg At the end of ISY, his angsty demeanor completely changes, and he says, "Don't worry, I'm not really that mad!" :lol So cute! Ok, Acoustic set time... BEAUTIFUL... Have I mentioned I love him yet? http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...r/Acoustic1.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...tTour/WINY1.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/FOG1.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/CIMM.jpg WDC... I honestly didn't take more pictures of this than anything else, but more of them came out better. Go figure! I'll leave any further comments to your very fertile imaginations. http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...WDCAcoustic.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...WDCScreeeem.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...DCJacketOff.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...tTour/WDC11.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/WDC1.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/WDC2.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...tTour/WDC31.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/WDC3.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/WDC4.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/WDC5.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s.../WDCFaather.jpg He did the very lovely Becos of You speech -- yeah, it's the same one, but I swooned nonetheless. He loves us and I love him right back. :xo http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/Way1.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/0903/dlfnd4s...ntTour/Way2.jpg We waited by the buses, but alas no Clay. There was some troublemakers and I think they finally caused enough ruckus (cops and everything), that Clay and Kelly got into a white van and left rather than coming out to the buses. At least that's how it appeared. In any case, we were battered and bruised from our encounter and so left the scene of the battleground wounded but not beaten!
  20. Why DO men have nipples anyway? Hee. Just wanted to kiss all you sane folks, goose muski, dance a little jig for the gold, and high-five playbiller. Just 'cuz.
  21. YouStopRightNow here. I'm an admin at WMS, but, um... let's just say I get around. Heh. I didn't join the boards until May 21st so I missed all the AI fun, but I could not tolerate never seeing Clay again, so I Googled... and the rest, as they say, is history. I swear I chose my name because of Clay telling Ruben to stop crying, but there is no proof and nobody seems to recall the event. They all try to tell me my name is derived from the Rolling Stone article. But, it's not. Not that I'd be against that... If anyone ever finds a clip of Clay saying such a thing to Ruben, I'd be quite appreciative. Anywho... I am a writing consultant for networking companies and work out of my home. I have 5 1/2 furry friends (5 of my own and the neighbors Golden who pretty much lives here!). I TRY to get work done in between all the board hopping I do. I have always been pretty social, but this takes the cake. I've never had so much fun and so many friends in my life. I'm a pop-culture illiterate mostly, so this is highly abnormal. I know nothing about TV or radio or the entertainment business... I'd rather be outside. BUT, here I am, 2+ years later, still trying to pretend this is highly abnormal. LOL! Great idea for a board, couchie and Ansa!
  22. I think I got to Jeff at Pin Promotions seconds before the onslaught. He wasn't quite as harried for the WMS pin as he was for the Tsathy pin. BUT, he was GREAT!! Very matter of fact, which I like, and things worked out well. I am lucky I had a board with a specific thread to have people post their interest. I am amazed by the people who took pre-orders and then orders after that. We are shipping about 1000 pins and there is no way I could have handled all those emails flying around. So, we got an idea of interest, posted a paypal order form for a week and let 'er fly. After we closed the ordering window, I downloaded all the order activity from paypal to Excel and let it do the counting up. After I picked my jaw up off the floor (I thought we'd sell 100 if we were lucky! ha!), I placed my order with Jeff, and received my pins in exactly 10 days. I bought my envelopes from http://www.uline.com/. Got overnight delivery of 4x8s for no extra cost. It looks like you guys got a bit of a better deal than I did, but I'm still good. I ended up buying 4x8 Stamps.com or Paypal shipping-compatible labels online too. I downloaded my paypal orders into a comma delimited file which is imported to the Stamps.com address book. Labels and postage print from there. I have no idea if this is the best way, but it's what I chose, so this weekend is going to be a packaging weekend! Weee! It's been fun watching the pin frenzy. We did our design early on and I might have changed a few things about it all had I come in a little later to the game. But, I'm very happy with our cute little pins and how it's all turned out. Broker, but happy! Hee.
