  1. Hey there! Jumping in here.

Jennifer's dress looks much better now, with the gold wings or whatever the hell that was.

And yes, Ryan's a first class putz for bringing up her weight.

ETA: Ellen looks really tired - she could smuggle an Oscar or two out of there in the bags under her eyes. Whoa! Good job though. Loved the Al Gore vote joke.

  2. Sex for Clay? Did somebody mention sex for Clay????

    *crickets*

    Ohhh. Sox.

    Nevermind.

    These get my vote then.

Seriously folks, I know nuttin' from marketing. Now, if Clay decides he needs (another?) short, darkhaired, older Canadian woman to uhhh, produce for him - I'm there!!!

Meanwhile, I'll just admire the pretty.

  3. I love this one, but I feel obliged to throw a whole LOTTA love its way for the vacationing luckiest1. This is her favorite song on the CD.

I love breathy Clay so this song is music to my ears. Heh. The very last 'right here waiting' is just wonderful. Clay's phrasing is so unique - it's what makes him, well, Clay.

  4. I'm looking forward to participating in the contest. I think that voting *blind* is the best way. It's easy enough to add a signature later, should the entry win.

What about photo credit? I like to acknowledge the photographer within the graphic. And are 'official' photos allowed? Screencaps?

One last question: Do you want the FCA logo to be incorporated (the linked letters), or are you going for a whole new look?

Ooops, one more question. Not to be picky but, is it 'Where Clay Fans Come To Play' or 'Where Fans Of Clay Come to Play (as in the current banner).

  5. Okay, okay, okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. I'm here. Is there an FCC? cheers.gifDo I have to tip the bartender? Is it okay to post with blinders on? Because all I want to do is love on Clay and his music. (In that order, thankyouverymuch). Cuz he's pretty. And he sings good. And I love him. And he looks at me like this (in my dreams)

Whew. Thank God I'm not alone. Well, I'm alone in thinking he's hot, I guess.  I love men with a sense of humor, and he's a total clown. Also, he was once a firefighter, and he rejoined his old unit after 9/11 and worked with them at Ground Zero. He is not only a supremely talented actor, but is also a screenwriter. (He wrote and starred in Trees Lounge).

Ummm.... yeah, I do find him kinda hot. *blush* Just not 'beautiful'. He also directed a few episodes of The Sopranos. I didn't know about him being a firefighter and the Ground Zero thing though. Whoa! I knew I had good taste!

  7. Okay, I'll have to add pics later. So. We're only talking beautiful to look at right? ... eye candy... sexy babes.

Every day, in every way, nobody does it for me like Clay. That's a given.

But before Clay came along, there would only have been one other answer for me... Kevin Costner. Guh. Love. Love. L.O.V.E. He's still my favorite actor.

Rounding out the list, and keeping in mind that when I think of these guys, I picture them at their best. Time hasn't been all that kind to me, either *g*

    10. George Clooney (Sighhhh... if only he'd just stop talking)

    9. Mel Gibson (I love a man who makes me laugh)

    8. Brad Pitt (Legends of the Fall Brad-only guy whose long hair ever 'did it' for me.)

    7. Denzel Washington (Guh)

    6. Bruce Willis (Die Hard Bruce. Yippie Ki AYYYYY!)

    5. Jake Gyllenhal (Oh, so pretty)

    4. Hugh Grant (See: Mel Gibson)

    3. John Travolta (Then and Now)

    2. Kevin - always. Yum. You know, he has the same crooked bottom teeth as Clay.

The one and only #1 forevah.

eta: I wouldn't call him beautiful, but yeah, ldyjocelyn, I LOVE me some Steve Buscemi. He's one of those actors who can get me to see a movie/tv show just because he's in it. He even got me to watch an Adam Sandler movie *g* (The Wedding Singer - he KILLED!) eata Oooops! T'was ebird who posted Steve - sorry!

  8. Hello!

Complete pin-making newbie here. First, let me say thank you for the site. So much info in one place - how awesome! I read cameocat's tutorial, and it is full of great info - thank you!

I'm hoping that somebody will take pity on me an answer a couple questions. I did my design in two colours, but I only want to order one - what would you suggest is the best way to get feedback on them. A poll? I do have a small pph board that I could set one up on. I submitted the design to Pin Productions, and have the proofs for both.

Second, the paypal issue. I have a personal account, and really don't want to set up a business account. Am I underestimating the usage? At this point I am only considering 100 pins - a one time deal. I am Canadian, and the thought of cross border mailing gives me nightmares... trust me, it's MUCH easier for you to send here than vice versa. I do have a buddy in NC who would handle the shipping from there.

My pin is based on a professional photo, but stylized, and I'm hoping that it falls under the scope of the info that allicat posted.

If this is in the wrong place, I apologize and would ask to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
