LOL, luckiest.
There were changes in this medley (80's) at least according to the set list we have now. Something between Can't Fight This Feeling and Rhythm of the Night. At least I'm pretty sure there was.

Here's AAIT's reply:
In WMP, View...Enhancements...Graphic EqualizerThen click Turn On at left side of section.
Then you'll see Reset and some other word to the right of that, both clickable.
Click the second word.
That opens up various style choices.
Play around to see what you like, but I'm most pleased with New Age for this show.
I can't find "View"!
Caro
Do you see the "Now Playing" tab? If you hover over that you'll get a dropdown arrow - click that and you'll see 'Enhancements'
OR
Right-click on the WMP emblem in the upper left corner of the player to see the regular 'File/View/Play/etc' menu.

Thnx! I know I've been able to find "tools" on other laptops for Windows Media, but I can't seem to find it. I have been playing with the volume, too.
Caro
Did you see luckiest's post above? that is for Windows Media Player.
-
Where is the graphic equalizer? AAIT on CV said she put hers on "New Age" and it REALLY helped the sound.
Thnx for the decades!
Caro
Depends on what player you are using.
Generally you can find it under 'View' or 'Tools' and then checking the presets. My version winAmp doesn't have 'new age', but I find just lowering the volume for the music parts helps a lot. On winAmp there is a small tab that says 'config' at the bottom and that opens to show the equalizer.
Can't wait to actually see this part up close enough to see Clay's face.

Ruben really does have a great voice now that he's lost that breathlessness I always heard during AI.
The preceding posts have been brought to you by the word 'really'.
Really.
-
He really does sing the shiznit out of Mandy.
-
Yeah, but you missed Still The One
LOL, sounds like they both got kicked in the crotch there at the start of Night Fever.
HEEEE, that's what I was thinking, cindilu2! I have been listening while editing (bold, italic, etc.) the set list for tomorrow's blog.
What are the decades of the medleys -- 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s?
Caro
Love the hot, hot band! Wish we could understand the banter. Hope the audience is. I hope Deborah gets another audio version now the sets are settling in..
Caro
That's what I'd say, yes

Ruben is really showing his personality. These two SO bring out the best in each other.
ETA: He definitely said this is the best crowd so far. I'm thinking it's quid pro quo - they are also talking more to the crowd.

Heheh you never know 'til you try
There is a lot of feedback on the CV stream - lowering my volume helps some.
Sighhhhh. So much fun cellcerting by myself.
Might as well sing...
We're still having fun and you're still the onnnnnnnnnne.
-
You can have your wish if you check your email in a few minutes ;-)
Ouch! - some nasty feedback there.
-
So I got the stream on just in time to hear the end of an announcement. Anybody know what it was?
Okay, reading elsewhere I see it was a no cellphones (heh) or cameras, but security just said 'no flash'.
And once again... I'm all alone. :-/

Reminder: Tonight's show starts at 7:00 pm
...uh for the timezoned challenged among us??????
LOL - Eastern, but I don't even know that for sure - just going by the OFC Appearances schedule (and we know how accurate and timely the OFC is :-P)
I'm not getting any cellstream yet so who the heck knows? And now there it is. Space Odyssey music starting now (7:07 PM EDT)

Here's an audio of Clay commenting on his fans:
It's the Aiken Koolaid, Clay. And it's deeeelicious!
Reminder: Tonight's show starts at 7:00 pm

(I took the quote out so the corrected version will stand with less confusion - thanks for keeping track, bottlecap!)
Just a tiny note - What A Night in the 70's medley is officially called 'December 1963' (Oh What a Night)
If I'm counting right that's 67 songs!
-
Is may be my imagination, but in this picture #14 of 15 from the Florida Time-Union at Jacksonville.com don't his teefers look more like the originals? Maybe I'm crazy, but these look like the old teeth I was missing.
Concert photos from Jacksonville website
And could somebody more skilled than me copy that photo? I LOVE IT!!!
I'll post the photo for you only if you swear to never use the word 'teefers' again (or toofies, or widdle teef, or any variation thereof)
Deal?
-
Not for nuthin', but his blog did say 'we' asked about room service. Wonder who we is?
-
I really do not like the format for the OFC forums. Can never find anything.
Please tell me where the concerts are being discussed over there.
Thanks
Here, in the Tour Talk forum. There is a thread for each venue. Not really a lot of discussion - more red reports and photos.
-
I am just curious about this and mean no disrespect to Ruben at all, but do you think these are the biggest concert crowds he's played to in a while? I truly haven't followed him very closely but the things I've read here and there on the boards over the years always seemed to imply he didn't do so well in concert. Truth or FanFiction? If true it really must feel great for him (and also makes me happy that they are experiencing it together). I heard merrieeee say (on the CH cellcert) that the venue today was pretty full on the floor and about half on the balcony. Not bad for a Sunday afternoon!
-
That was a nice blog - glad to hear from him. He's proud of the show they put together - that's all I need to know.
Heheh, maybe he's rewritten history changed his mind about Mexican food.
-
Not for nothing, but that post? Gone.
Heheh.
-
Ah well - that was by far the clearest, best cellcert thus far and thankfully it last through 99% of it. Much appreciation to all those involved!
-
Well dang - I lost the stream with seconds to go.
#58: The man is made of awesome!
