  1. Hello, FCA! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Here's some of the dialogue leading into WISYS: high notes at the end... ooo oooing at each other.. lol.. laughter Hello san diego! How're you doing? Water on all sides... I don't know if I can make it through the whole show. It's been long since we've been on the west coast. we thank you so much for your energy. And for those who came in late... we started @ 8 o'clock I'm talking about one group in particular. One big group in the back where are they? yeah thats my mother. I feel loved I appreciate it. Thanx very much. What are you saying? Its been a long day? Cuz I've done nothing. I had to get up at 8 this morning. We have rehearsal early today at 10 o'clock we always have rehearsal at 2. Jerome came and woke me up and I don't remember any of it. Asking Angela and Quiana what they did.. Quiana said spent time with her son.. Clay said "I spent time with my son" haha We usually have so much to talk about.. (Quiana and Angela didn't do much over break apparently.) They're clammed up apparently ladies and gentleman. Clearly you have nothing to talk about. The san diego symphony behind us ladies and gentleman give them a round of applause "When I See You Smile"
  2. I love this from the CV post-show report: A woman was trying to get an upgrade. Ticket lady said, "I dont think youll be able to upgrade, it is Clay Aiken; he's selling a lot of tickets. Nite, all! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Caro P.S. CV stream is talking with Jamie, complimenting her, having pix taken together, telling her they like the hair from tonight. Here is one more report from SmartyPantsSuz, PinkCocoa, and butterflyshine: Jerome says he's going to find a way to make the bus line happen. They are lining up on the sidewalk. Clay turned it on the second half of the show. The payola comment seems to have even caught him off guard. It wasn't until after he made that comment that he mentioned there were record people in the audience. "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" was hauntingly beautiful. When they came back after the break, they all had time hearing each other on the stage. The mic stand was having all sorts of problems tonight. He said "screwed" twice. At one point he pulled away from the mic and said, "I just said screw it." The mic stand was having all sorts of problems tonight. He said the mic stand was probably the only thing he could beat up. Dudley said, If tonight was a fight/breakup with the mic stand, the next concert will be make-up sex. When Clay was trying to get on the stage, Jerome made it clear "not to touch the Clay." During Bills Angela and Clay are doing this undulating thing that was TOO FUNNY!!! He has gotten the "Party all night" move down to a science. "Lover All Alone" was gorgeous. The Cello player was amazing. He seemed to appreciate Clay's talent. He did not shave – STUBBLE. Hair is starting to look more "All Is Well". It looked very styled and very nice. He looked gorgeous – especially after the jacket came off. Very nice tribute before "Because You Loved Me". Had some screamers in the back. Some guy yelled, "If you come back here, you'll be a lot cooler." Vocal gymnastics on "I Want to Know What Love Is" and "Everything I Have" were amazing! He said that sometimes he misses a note and does runs to cover it. Quiana has come out of her shell. She did his TV bit for him and was hilarious. At one point, she told him to mind his business. He gave her a hard time about running a "side business" in SC. At one point she said, "I'm classy. I just don't take no mess." This was the hottest venue they have been in. He said it was so hot in there he felt like macaroni and cheese that was getting crusted at the Golden Corral. He said he binged the night he read the letter that said he was fat, and whenever someone calls him fat, he eats.
  3. Toni said Scarlett got lots of video, mainly because she was way at the end. The "police" couldn't get to her. ETA: Scarlett just got on the stream, and she said she has everything covered. Caro
  4. Toni has lots of pictures -- 300 -- and some video. She has the jacket rip-off on video. And she said Clay is gorgeous! Caro
  5. Toni says they could tell he had striped underwear when he was trying to get back onto the stage. HEEEE!!! Caro
  6. Couchie, in the post-show report, this was corrected to orchestra seating. Caro
  7. Now they are saying it was the orchestra seating in the audience -- not the orchestra. Caro
  8. Caperkeeper said most of the orchestra stood after LAA. Caro
  9. Beautiful! Mine came back after three tries. Caro
  10. AAIT wrote: Some guy just yelled out, you da man, very loudly, it sounded to me!!! Caro Clay just said "every now and then a good song gets on the radio, when they pay for it"
  11. From Pamela at Claymaniacs via CV: He fell off the stage into the audience....?!?!?! They had to pull him back up on the stage?!?!?!?!?! *prays for clack* He said he fell on his butt. He tried to jump back up onto the stage and hit his face right on the front of the stage. Poor baybee!!! He kept on talking though. Caro
  12. HEEEE -- I played some fast Mozart tonight! Actually, there's lots of fast music for orchestras. Caro
  13. You're welcome. This is the whole report that SmartyPantsSuz typed from PinkCocoa. I think you know much of it: Bringing over what Pink told me during intermission: Grey jacket, black long-sleeve shirt, boots, jeans with lower pockets During Jeffersons threw his jacket off and it landed under the piano. He was teasing Quiana about shopping on Canal street. Asking if she had a side business in SC. Talked about Idol. Talked about how pornographic the bust of his head was. He looks very tired. He didn't get to sleep til 5 or 6 this morning. Energy seems a little low. Gorgeous venue, people seem more reserved, but they are giving him standing ovations. Clack police are out. Pink got warned twice so far. They were told the cameras would be taken away if they got caught again. Because of the way the venue seats are sloped, the clack police can easily see if someone raises their hands to take a pic. Clay stood away from her, took the mic off the stand, and motioned Angela to come to the mic stand. She danced over and started dancing with it like she use to do with him on WDC. Clay was talking about how he watches TV so much. He stopped and said he forgot where he was going with it. Quiana picked up and went right on with what he says every night. Angie and Quiana went to spa last night. The place is packed. Lots of guys. Quiana's solo was great. "I Want to Know What Love Is" was breathtaking. Sang with Angela. Clay was singing REALLY low at the end. They were having a vocal gymnastics contest at the end. Joked about not wanting people to see his wet armpits. Said he was sweating like Ruben. Joked that that would be on YouTube tomorrow and he'd be getting a call from Ruben. Jefferson's dance was a hoot. Did something with his hand (running movements with his hands) during one song. Said his assistant was here, but wasn't going to point him or her out since the Claymates will never leave them alone. The girl from Invisible is in the front row tonight and he dedicated "When I See You Smile" to her. Said it was nice to see her again. Talked to two fans who are always there. Asked how they afforded front row seats every night. Do they work? They said they were frugal. Caro
  14. So sorry about the basketball coach who died this week, Muski. That Standing-O went on and on!!! :Tour3: Caro
  15. LOL, Cindy, she could have told me where the heck I was. I should have done Mapquest for going home from the gig. Did y'all see this? CV has a whole report from Pink Cocoa. This is the end: The girl from Invisible is in the front row tonight and he dedicated "When I See You Smile" to her. Said it was nice to see her again. Talked to two fans who are always there. Asked how they afforded front row seats every night. Do they work? They said they were frugal. Her name is Sherry. I remember her. Caro
  16. Hello, FCA! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Guess who got lost coming home from Winston, LOL! Who knew street names changed in the middle? I always get lost in Winston. :eusa_whistle: I got online in time for the TV Themes and have been listening to the intermission report at CV. Now I'm going back and read some of the red reports. Caro
  17. I came to welcome AAIT and realized it's been a while since I've waved at all the new folks. I scrolled back and have a belated welcome mat out for these folks, too: Greetings to sheiladownunder, Savonnette, PhyllyluvsClay, Hilda_Kersten, and ... AAIT! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Hope you feel right at home! Have a great weekend! Caro
  18. Good Afternoon, FCA! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Huge welcome to AAIT - glad to have you here! Love the "Idol" recap by Stripedshirts! What a night that must have been for the cast and crew! I've been working on my flute chops this morning to fill in for my sister at a gig in Winston this evening. It's supposed to end at 7, which should put me in my seat for the cellcert at 8. I would really like to be in that beautiful hall in New Jersey. Clay won't have to worry about bugs tonight! Kayla's new montage is neat, Rcknrllmom. So are the wallpapers, which I hope she will post in the PSP Forum at CV (Winging It Thread). Y'all have a great day, and I'll see you tonight after the gig ... :09: <--- actually, our group will be a violin-flute duo, LOL! Caro
  19. Oops, I missed one of the birthday girls. Love the Lament of a Wannabe Clack Goddess! Divayenta! Caro
  20. KAndre and CrazyForClay! Meadowbrook Bugs Immortalized in Clay's Show features the New Hampshire concert with a photo slide show, the Columbus review from The Other, and a look toward Newark on Saturday. All in the usual places -- OFC and Carolina On My Mind. I have a one-hour reception gig Saturday evening, but hope to be home in time for the cellcert. Can't wait! Happy traveling to all headed west! :TourExcite: TGIF to FCA! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Caro
  21. My favorite line was during his encouragement for the audience to support the arts ... if you don't, they will leave. And unless these horseflies learn how to play the trombone, we can't come back! Or something like that ... Caro
  22. This is what we heard in the report at CV: Glowsticks: when he saw the glowsticks his eyes lit up, and when he was leaving he gave the biggest sweetest glowsticks, there were about 1000 glowsticks, the look on his face was priceless. MORE: At least a thousand glowsticks. The look on his face was priceless and he gave the biggest smile to the audience as he was leaving. this will be forever known as "the Bug Show"! Caro
