Yea, THAT! I'm not "gettin'" the vibe with this guy myself. I actually think if he didn't have the dreads he wouldn't be so speshul to look at (although he does put a nicely worn pair of jeans to good use....ifyouknowwhatImeanandIthinkthatyoudo) or listen to. Eh, I don't think it's eyeshadow either, muski. I think he just has amazingly shell pink eyelids and lips. Though the thought of him wearing it does get me a bit moist. The top one, I think from this Saturday night? It almost looks like a painting rather than a photo. Did you do something to it or am I just in need of sleep? He really is one helluva pretty man! Nope, you're not alone, kf. Both of those songs they preview have become earworms for me now! I think this is how I saw it too. I think he was proud of his participation in the productionh of that CD, such as it was, and he learned a lot from it technically I believe. I happen to love ATDW and will always be glad he did it. But yea, I think between the fans and critics reaction, it just took the wind out of his sails for that project. So, where is all the hubbub taking place over Ruben's CMH gig on AI7? You know what....never mind. I don't really want to know. I prefer being "out of the loop" in that way.

Well succeed or fail , this time it's HIS BABY and I think this will be very telling. I hope he does mix it up a bit and that he isn't "clearly" defined or identified with one genre or sound by this CD. I want him to remain a mystery to some extent. Magical as Gladys Knight put it. I think it's what makes him so damn special, so unique in this business. And that is hard to do these days. Good, bad or indifferent, it's Clay being Clay. And I think he will sleep better at night knowing he at least did it his way. (t/m Sinatra) I think I understand how you feel CG, but I hope and pray that LAA IS included on the CD. It sooo deserves a proper release! takes a moment And maybe if it get's industry recognition (a girl can dream can't she) maybe it will encourage him to write more. Either way, I just want the world to hear it!! I have to add, that watching that interview or more accurately, listening to Clay talk about the process and the journey felt so intimate. I realize his "claim to fame" as he has said before is Clay. Without all the crap and the hits he received from both sides due to "the crap" he got a huge kickstart and became a juggernaut in the blog-o-sphere and this makes me very very sad.
