  1. I think this is the PERFECT place to use this - Perez Hilton Could Play New Role: A&R Man http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/26/arts/mus...e.html?ref=arts My eyse my eyes!!! Ack It's the end of the world as we know it! wtf
  2. That made me all scmoopie! I'm sure you don't mean to piss on my parade or anything, JJ, but....just so I'm clear....Do you mean "epic proportions" by normal standards or Clay standards? And WORD to your entire post, Couchie! Have a great trip.
  3. You only live once, play! Or so I'm told. Just keep giving us recaps!! k. And glad you're feeling better too.
  4. YES! BWAHHH It actually looked like she was scratchin' her butt. All I know is I suddenly remembered reading this from you while I was watching it a moment ago and busted out laughing sooo hard my DH actually got off his behind and came in to see what was so funny! That doesn't happen often ya'll!! I have to say that I really think I hate Corey Clark now. I didn't follow any of this stuff for several years to come so I am watching it with a fresh eye. And Corey, IMO, is one smarmy & smug poser! Ack! As for Ruben, I cannot for the life of me warm up to him. And I want to, especially knowing how close he and Clay are. But he leaves me blah and I just can't see him even being in the top 3. The song he sang in this episode was just a continuous chorus to me. So how does that translate to show of range or pitch? Again....blah! But "Baby" was beautiful and all business and so pretty sounding that I was temporarily blinded. Until.........Simon spoke. WTF?! All I have to say to that is summed up quite nicely by KAndre: Indeed it do do.
  5. eddie izzard tix He will be appearing at Union Square Theatre almost every night at 10:30 from Feb 21 through March 8. Tickets seem to be $135 and $165. Typically he does his shakedown for a tour in a theatre after whatever is playing there for the evening is through, that is why the 10:30 times. If I could go, I would! eta - good grief! Orchestra tickets are $245 each!!!!!!! but they seem to be selling, they are not available for the first show at all, it looks like. Ack! Oh well, thanks for the info djs111. Too bad, so sad....but I will miss this date by a long shot. My god, those are some pricey tickets too! Just as well
  6. Ooo Ooo, djs111, would you be so kind as to post or PM me when you have/know more about this...pwetty pweese!! I LOVE Eddie and have since he appeared here in San Francisco many years ago. I am planning to be in NYC for Spam at the end of March and would be crazymad if I missed an opportunity see Mr. Izz-ard live. TIA :F_05BL17blowkiss: Clay....new CD....I'll buy it whenever it comes out and I'll probably sleep with it, take it to dinner and pet it from time to time. (when DH is outta town on business that is) heh (((((muski)))) sending good vibes your way!!
  7. I think she was just performing in the show that evening so they took a pic together.
  8. Thankyou for the lurvly wallpaper, 00lsee, I snatched that baby right up!
  9. Yes. No matter where you're going or what you're doing, the answer to this is always "Yes". And shoes to match. Ah, but Stacie and Clinton say matching your shoes and bag is not required. Cha Cha, actually that's not required *g- If you wish to be fashionable then "matching" is a good thing (tm Martha Stewart) But if you want to be "stylish" then no need. I say go with STYLE...it's cheaper! :0) floating off to LICK pretty banner and the saucy nape w/curls of the man's neck...slurpslurp 00lsee, thank you so much!!!
  10. Next stop..."Speculation Station"...Alllll aboarrrd! Seating currently available in the hand wringing car (bolding mine) I love this. I wanna marry this statement and have it's chirren
  11. I han't heard that either and I was there! I know my favorite shipping partner was there, and by that I mean Kelly! Yes, she certainly was. I saw her up close that night and she was totally adorable. (bolding mine) So duckyvee, was this Tyra you refer to as 'seeing her up close' that evening? I would love to hear more details of that, if so. I was there and remember KC being there but not Tyra which I think would be great to know. Pretty please share more if you can.
  12. (bolding mine) I have to say "WORD" to this! But add also that what Couchie said (not a direct quote) about what many of these same people provide us with is a "godsend"! I am personally grateful for their generosity in sharing so myself and others like me may live vicariously through them. I'm suprised I still remember my password. hee
  13. I do love that pic! That was the night I fell I don't know about comparing him to Elvis, The Beatles, Sinatra and such. I know I've done it from time to time also, but it just seems to be more complicated than that. I think Clay is more unique in his genre. He's certainly a combination of a few of those greats and yet he's almost nothing like them. His voice is powerful, his range amazing and his timbre mesmerizing. He has an indefinable sex appeal, an allure that many don't understand. And still they fall under his spell without fully recognizing it. He commands a stage like no other these days, and he has a quicksilver wit that is difficult to compete with. His self deprecation is a defense mechanism finely honed from an early age and his talent for speaking or acting on impulse without processing through filters first may be his single greatest flaw. And yet, he is still hovering somewhere above a boxed in AI finalists secondary career with a future in TV and below a music/entertainment Icon of mega superstaH status. How is this happening? Why? To think of Clay as someone who could be major around the world seems a natural progression in thought and reason. International exposure should be easy. And yet he is confined to not just touring the states these days, but predominatly the eastern seaboard. WTH happened?! He was launched! He soared! Then he was shot full of buckshot! Who fired the gun and who provided the ammo? He has said "in reality there are few conspiracies in the world" and I just want to know how he defines it then. I'm admittedly crazy though, because I think he is an Icon already. I believe he will go down in the annals of time as a major force in the industry. It will take some doing but I also believe he will achieve international success and fame with his next CD. Yep, I'm crazy. I just want to "will it" for him and say "#1, make it so"! Oh God! How did I miss this one!!!!! It's early in the morning and I'm lusting after a picture of Clay Aiken's bare feet. Do I need medication? I'll admit I never particularly liked feet. Especially men's feet. Just ack. But for some reason all that changes when I look at this picture. I'm not fond of men in sandles because their feet and toes just aren't too appealing to me. But I would never ask this man to cover those pretty pedi's up! Nope, not me! In fact, I might even be persuaded to do some foot kissin & toe lickin for the first time im my life and that offer will stand for as long as it takes! Just sayin
  14. Speaking of that... I've been spending the better part of the morning looking at this series... Bwah...Scarlett, what would we do without you!! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Surely he is not refering to US!!
  15. Is it me or did he happen to look particularly EROTIC in Houston What did the eHP put in the water that day?
  16. Welcome xxx!! Dear lord, a clear (and loud) audible gasp escaped my lips as I came upon this!! Welcome indeed prepares to print and enlarge to place on ceiling above bed. Maybe hubby won't notice.... right away
  17. And with that, my flood gates opened! Pass the kleenex, please. Well thank god, in Clay's case, we don't have to choose! Thanx to all for bringing such wonderful moments to us from the day!! Many of us DO in deed live vicariously through you. :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  18. bottle, from your lips to god's ears! and speaking of "lips'..... Hee - I didn't want to hurt anybody, Gibby. I reallly wanna use this one, but the board only allows up to 90x90. Poo! Is anyone else besides me wondering just what was he doing with those lips right before that picture was taken, to make them all swollen and puffy and lucious like that? **takes a moment** OOOOooh, I become jell-o without a mold when I look at this. I sooo adore this avi!! Quick...someone grab a mop!
  19. You know what I bet they end up doing? They'll edit Clay's segment down 35 min. and then slice & dice KP down to 8 min. Throw in 17 min. of ad time and there's your.... ugh...."Idol Show". But I can still dream of a whole hour of Clay can't I?! Gawd, a smart man is all kinds a hawt!
  20. Aww, thanks for the recap, Couchie! Was Regis there already? Were there any sightings of him slipping Clay his Relly(s) backstage?
  21. BWAHHHH Uhm, any other reports of "stiffened" sightings?
