  1. What a great interview! Eeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhh for a CD possibly "the day after or a few days after" the end of Spamalot. Even taking into account Clay's elastic sense of time it sounds like it may be in our hot little hands prior to the summer. EEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! The concept sounds very interesting...and it's all original....and just think what a cool tour concept it would make. I can hardly wait. I better start saving now. Right after I check to see if there are Spamalot tickets for Sunday's matinee. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhh!! as well for couchie's tickets! ETA: is anyone able to rip this audio? ETA2: there is a sendspace file here......run!! interview
  2. Thanks for the link to M&J's site! I stayed at home to work today, partially so I could see Clay on my teevee. Unfortunately, I don't get that channel apparently! He was waaaaaaaay CUTE!!! Heading waaaaay far into ADORABLE even!!! :F_05BL17blowkiss: I wuv him! Is it March yet?
  3. I absolutely LOVE the "evil" grin on his face as he does this! Totally CMSU!! So do you think he was referring to Friday night's Holy Grail of Tuxedos [tm:kareneh] here? *giggle* You HAVE to look at the first two comments under the article luckiest linked above. No, really....you do! Best response EVER to a jerk!! Off to see the wizard......
  4. Go ahead and Click. I did and my total came to $37.11 with shipping so I only bought one membership. I think the wording is a little ambiguous! I cannot find the page where the goodies we get are located. Is there a tote bag included? Thanks merrieeee....I wondered if perhaps they meant in addition to the one you're signed in at the moment on...but that's NOT what it says. I guess if I'm charged twice....more opps for M&G's! Goodness knows one doesn't work for that!
  5. What an absolutely beautiful banner! Great stuff, oolsee! Although it was waaaaaaay too short, I loved The View "interview/notaninterview". He sure has learned how to get a lot out in a short time before they start asking if he watches AI He looked simply MAHvellous in that beautiful outfit. Have no idea if he was "styled" or did it himself, but he looked absolutely wonderful. And I managed to dawdle enough this morning to be able to watch it in real time. Eeeeehhhh!! Question: Am I the only idiot or are others having a problem? When I try to renew my OFC membership by: -signing in -going to "Account" -clicking on "Renew Now" -going to "Sign In" and putting in email/password (the other option doesn't work at all) -click on "Sign In" I then get the message: HELP!! I don't want TWO memberships....I just want to renew! ANYONE??
  6. I agree with every word! Clay's superior work ethic, superior talent and persistence in the face of adversity have all contributed to making him one of the standouts. OMG this Hee...when you see the high-res version of it, you can see his right ear looks AWFUL...very badly bruised or something; in pix taken later, it's clear it's just leftover makeup. Our little boy forgot to wash his ears.
  7. I hope you're right...but knowing cindilu2's luck, which I believe is much like mine~nonexistent, I did see Zippy888 in that picture as well. And she leads a charmed life based on going to many, many, many occasions. In any case, I'm sure we'll hear. My exact thought! Well, we're now booked for three shows on Easter weekend: Friday PM, Sat Mat, Sun PM and I already have the tickets in hand for two of them, airline tickets, and hotel reservations. Shuttle websites are bookmarked, as is the doubledecker tour bus site. We'd love to go see Jersey Boys, but that's looking like a catch-as-catch-can proposition as they are showing sold out for the entire weekend we're there. I'm so excited!! My very first trip to the Big Apple. I even found a beautiful shawl collared black velvet, embroidered jacket that I can wear with jeans or dress pants, in a store I would normally NEVER shop in. AND a beautiful red knitted ruffled shawl-thingy I could pop on for warmth if needed. I was looking for sheets! Can hardly wait until March....in the meantime, keep those cards and letters comin'!! LOVE to hear the tiniest little thing in the way of recaps. :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  8. Actually, those should be absolutely awesome seats! Wonder what Amaryllis will think of it? Or actually, I just realized, it's probably Nanny.... ETA: I keep getting kicked off the racken frackin stream....don't know why I care it's just them gabbing....
  9. Me too! Hope they keep printing them, I'm not going until March. Sure hope it's true that it's a sellout!
  10. Heyyyyyy!!! :00000442: :04: I'm here too....listening to CV's cellcert. They are interviewing the people out on the sidewalk in front of the theatre...ie, our peeps. The consensus? They are sooooo excited!! No new news I don't think. ETA: claysfayevorite is taking shorthand during the show tonight....
  11. WOW, how totally awesome about the bus advertising! ....and LOVE that more detailed interview where he talks about Mike Nichols! I'm hoping this association is a good one for him down the road. I can see it already HAS been a good one for him this go-round! He looks and sounds so happy! I thought I would never again see that high-energy sparkle that he had during AI. I'm so glad I was wrong! Haven't had hours in the day unfortunately, to collect Spam emoticons...but nonetheless, my heart is in NYC on Broadway tonight. Clay :F_05BL17blowkiss: Break a leg, babe! ETA: I was just looking at the representing list from CV...did a quick count and based on the stated theatre size, the list from there alone will comprise about 5% of the audience. And that's just one board. I know Clay knows....but I'm so thrilled to see him so surrounded by "family", even if I can't be one of them!
  12. What an absolutely a-DOR-able blog!! I love him to pieces.....and just tonight I booked my flights and some more tickets (before blog). :00000442: Me too! Those GREEEN eyes....OH . MY . GAWD!!!! Couldn't say it better...so I won't.
  13. Dear Gawd, after being in a hotel for three days with internet that could only manage text, I'm so far behind I think I'm ahead.....it's SO good to be back! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Now......HELP PLEASE....... Stupid Canadian needs airport advice from New Yorkers or experts I can get a good flight deal from Jet Blue....but they only fly into JFK.... US Airways is more expensive.....(about $70) but they fly into LGA...... Opinions?? Really appreciate any/all advice and assistance. AND...is that another cindilu2 banner??
  14. There was an audio clip loaded to 4shared by cap121 last night here. 4shared doesn't run out so it should be still active. Scroll down and wait a bit to see the download link.
  15. From the NC Theatre Dreamgirls program: cindilu2, definitely agree re MGUCL...it was phenomenal! I was thrilled to be there for another one of those "moments". My other favourite-ever moment is being present (and dead....) for "Beautiful Star", and hearing Papa cheer him on behind me.
  16. Yes, she has it set to turn too quick for me too. To get to the pictures: below the slideshow, you will see a box that says "View all Images". It will take you to the slideshow at slide.com, doubleclick on the picture (these ones are a little slower) and it will take you to the original hosting site, where you can save it in the original size or larger (see "View full size" bottom left of the picture). Hope that helps! ETA:....and yes, that is Quiana's Chamberlin.
  17. Eeeeeeehhhh! for the reports so far from last night.....and bottlecap, I'm ashamed of myself but I'm at that picture altar as well. I AM glad that he was able to enjoy, un-bothered, though. Not only is that great for him....it was Q's night.
  18. I was just going to bring that over too. Good for him! I'm sure that means the world to BOTH of them.
  19. Chiming in late to STAND UP and for Quiana. That was amazing! I can't compare her to Holliday or Hudson, as I've seen neither (the Jennifer Hudson variation is definitely on my "to do" list) but I am so very proud of her! And muski....me too. It's often cheap to get down to Raleigh from here....hmmm.....if anyone knows how long it's on, could you chime in? TIA ETA as well...is there anymore Quack that anyone's seen anywhere?
  20. Good for you, I'm so glad you guys are going! And yes, there is a forum for Spam tickets here. Thank you! Goin' to have a look, because I'd rather buy from a fan if decent ones are available. Oh good, another anal speller/grammarian on board! (me too...drives me nuts, especially from a "news" source) What an interesting point! Not being a teacher, I've never thought of it that way; I understood it as simply training people who may not be experts, to deal with conditions and people in a loving and kind and informed way. I'm sure you're right, though. I do also hope that one of the things they do is ensure that the people that work at the camps are the RIGHT people. As you've mentioned, I'm not sure that even trained people are necessarily always right. Sometimes people are just in the wrong job, for all the best reasons. Happens to every profession. Just :lmaosmiley-1: I agree it is generous of him but not at all surprising as Clay rarely puts himself first, he seems to always consider what's best for the people he loves. His loyalty is second to none. I don't know if it is generousity or just the usual family stuff. Quiana is more than a friend now, she is part of his family and you want your family to succeed. Add to it, he started with her on AI and they shared their dreams. Plus there are many who, with Clay, believe she is better than many people out there. And maybe a little bit of he is a supporter in the Raleigh theater and wants it to do well. I think Clay has been featuring Quiana a lot more than just here - he had her as a guest on his TV show, he recorded IWTKWLI with her and wanted that version on ATDW. I think he respects and admires her. Now, if she did become famous, there would be one more famousperson out there to say goo d things about Clay. Am I understanding correctly that you believe that's Clay's motivation? Oh, c'mon now, if so. I think we've had ample illustration of his generosity in the past five years.
  21. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhh!!!! I just bought our first set of tickets to Spamalot! Really wanted to wait until next week, but these good ones for Sunday night came up, and well....y'know. :00000442: I'm so excited about this trip! Do we have a buy/sell thread here for Spamalot?
  22. LOVED this! Thanks for bringing it over, Jenna! Rock ON, Mr. A!! Yes~because, sadly......it wasn't me! Abraham Lincoln's cousin!! :lmaosmiley-1: He sounds just like my Dad did sometimes.
