I've pretty much become indifferent to what people say in articles and blogs about Clay. I love to read the good comments, but I can easily ignore the bad ones. In the big picture, they don't amount to a rat's ass and won't affect Clay's career one way or another. I DO cringe when people inundate the authors with OTT comments and ranting about how wonderful Clay is because I think that is completely counterproductive.
There is much to celebrate.

I just don't get this "friends" thing at all. Periodically, I get messages that someone has requested I be their friend. Generally, I have no clue in hell who the person is, but I'm so grateful that ANYONE wants to be my friend that I say yes.
These are desperate times.

F%$##$$#$%^^&&%%$T^^%$KKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm working on my taxes.
Do you think they'll question my adding Clay as a dependent??

zena Right on.
Loved that fractured French translation.

But, didn't Clay say in LTS how ridiculous he thought it was that a church was against dancing?? And, he wrote about going to a dance....so I somehow doubt that the church affected his dancing all that much unless he was inhibited by osmosis from fundamentalists.

I watched the last Dance War show and I thought they were pathetic. Sorry, but some of those people seriously COULD NOT sing. Dancing, I don't know. If they're moving their feet, they're better than I am.

17 year olds!!! I considered sending my daughter to some desert island when she was 17.
The brain's not fully developed at 17.
No adult should be held accountable for his behavior at 17.

I LOVE the "ratty little paws" line.
Don't you just love that visual image???

couchie, you are wise
Could you post a link to the positive blog.

As for the eyelliner. WTF?? The guy runs back stage, wipes his face, takes off his wig, jumps out of his costume, throws on his clothes (he could skip this part to save time), and runs out the stage door, I don't get people fussing because some of the eyeliner remains. Has anyone of us seen him with eyeliner when he's NOT performing? Anyhow, his eyes. His call.
I think we should suggest that he skip that part, don't you, Wanda?
AAARRRRGGGG, my credit card just took a huge hit. We have a plumber here this morning working on a couple of problems, and they are having to replace the hot water heater and the kitchen faucet! Damn! We have some money in savings for house repairs, but not enough to pay the whole freaking bill.
Truism: Bills always come.

I don't get excited about Clay's pictures because fan pictures aren't posed, AND so much depends upon the camera angle, lighting, and lens. If you don't have it all together, your portrait can come out distorted--as in some of the straight face-on pictures of Clay. Big deal.
Since my one and only picture with Clay has him looking just charming and me looking as though someone just poked me in the ass with a cattle prod...I rest my case.

Oh, crap, there's some plot going on and I'm not even part of it!

I'm a little post-ho...
Scroll down....it's signed by both David Hyde Pierce and Clay.
Why the hell aren't I rich?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?
OMG, that's the cutest thing I've ever seen!!!

A little Sunday ditty:
There once was a kinight from fair Camelot
Whose dancing showed all that he had-a-lot
Said the prude with a frown
PLEASE TIE THAT THING DOWN
Cause these hussies are swooning and very-hot.

People can post all the super sekrit information they want. I like all gossip.
I just won't BELIEVE it until the evidence smacks me in the ears.

French taunters? People are offended by the French taunters?????
I'll take farts, asses, and obscenities over violence any day of the year.
But wanda, they viciously smash poor Patsy with a COW!!!
OMG, I've become completely desensitized to violence. I just shrugged off death by cow.
I'm so ashamed.

I think that a drop from the first week is normal and probably expected since so many people like to go to openings. This is a very slow time of year and the reviews haven't come out yet. I doubt that he's worried and thinks the Claymates will come in droves if he asks--we're already going in droves, and the crowd gets bigger as the weather gets better. This isn't the time when a lot of people like to travel--me included. I'm going in March.

I thought Silverman and Damon did a great takeoff on music videos. I'm still laughing.

OK, I have a question that I have wanted to ask for a while.
I just did my daily quick look on YouTube to see if any new and interesting clack has been added in the last 24 hours.
I found this:
... and here is my question.
WHY oh why would a fan ruin a big note by deliberately drowning it out?
Am I overreacting?
These are kids. Kids scream.
Adults: Involuntary orgasm.

All this excessive fan policing and deciding who are good fans and who are bad fans and blasting them on the boards makes me want to puke.
-
A propos of nothing whatsoever, I was looking at Qiuana's website and notced she has a link to Finding Clay Aiken. Unfortunately, the link is broken. I know it can't be fixed from this end, but thought you might want to know.
Here's the page: Quiana's links
OMG!! You don't suppose she printed out our limericks and gave them to Clay??!! ACK!!!!!!!!

Someone once told me she believed the crap written in the tabloids. THis is what I said:
The average IQ in the United States is 100. It takes a whole lot of people with IQ's BELOW that number to balance out those above. You are living proof.
That ended THAT discussion.

I have tickets to Curtains with DHP while I'm in NY. I hope that some Claymates who plan to take in some other plays consider going to cheer for DHP! I sure as hell will.

Well, I think it's one thing to say that fans did something that annoyed you and quite another to name them, categorize, them, castigate them, pass judgement about how Clay feels about them, and then beat the living shit out of the poor dead horse from one board to another.
Now, THAT's my idea of bad behavior.
