My son and his wife stopped over this am for a light breakfast because they are going to her parents for dinner. My other son then came over for a short period of time to see them. His wife was busy cooking because that is where we are going for dinner. He wanted to see his brother because in December his family will be moving to Florida. This is going to be hard for me because they have my only grand child. One good thing is they will be withing one hour of my other son. I now we will survive this move but it is going to be hard. Better get going and make my dishes I have to bring to dinner. Everyone have a great Turkey Day.

It is a beautiful day in Michigan. We have sun and it is in the 50's. My hubby and I went out for a bike ride this am. We did 33 miles and it was a little tiring because the weather for the last 8 weeks has been so bad we have not been able to ride much. This might be our last day till spring. I loved the blog from the other night. So much to look forward too. Can not wait for new music, tv, and possibly a tour. I just want to see and hear him live.

JMH123 I am so sorry for your loss. Hard times but it sounds like you are handling it well. It is amazing what we do when things are left up to us.

He sang that song beautifully. I read that they are worried it maybe on his next CD. I guess I am easy because if he records what he wants and sounds that good, I could care less what he records. I will buy. It never fails, he gives a great performance and the negativity starts. I guess I just don't get it.

I have always wash my hands constantly at work, when I enter a patient room and when I leave their room, so that is not knew for me. I think we are just more aware. I went on a cruise two years ago and I was very careful when opening bathroom doors and touching faucets. When my children were little I never came near them when I got home to I took a shower. I think now because I have no younger ones at home I was not doing that all the time and I am very careful if I have to go anywhere when I leave work who I will be near now. Chances are I am not bringing anything home but you do not know.

I also am hoping my immunity because of my age and the fact I did have the swine flu shot in 1976 will help me. My mother got her seasonal but not the H1N1. My only concern is taking some of the virus home with me. I try very hard not to expose my mother or my grandson. My DIL wanted me to stop by on Saturday to see my grandson in his costume. I told her I will stop by later in the evening after I have been home and showered and changed clothes.

I work in a Pediatric Intensive Care and our unit was able to get the shot on Monday. I opted not to, just like I have for many years with the seasonal, because of all my allergies. I will take my chance. What was interesting was when I did not get the seasonal about one month ago I had to sign a paper because I refused and why. This time I did not. We have had several suspected cases that we have isolated. I was in one room with a child on a ventilator all day Monday. After that many hours with gloves, gown, and mask I really was going stir crazy. I got out for a total of 20 minutes in a twelve hour shift. We did not put the child in isolation until I had been in the room for three hours. We sent a specimen, started her on tamiflu, placed her in isolation, which is our policy if you send a specimen. It takes 5 days to get the results because it is a send out to the state. Most of our kids who we have tested are home before results would of gotten back to us, so who knows if they were positive. Most of my fellow employees are getting the shot. I am hoping I do not get it, but I have never got the seasonal flu. I did take the old swine flu vaccine back in the 70's. The nasal vaccine now is a live virus and those of us over 49 are not offered this as of now. The shot is not live, and that is the problem for me with my allergies. I am not ready to go into shock if I take it, they keep telling me they have an epi pen ready, I will take my chances.

I also enjoy coming here and reading positive comments about the Gala and about Clay. I was really down on Saturday night when the negatives were coming in. I am glad I formed my own opinion after listening to the songs. No they were not perfect but I still enjoyed them and I thought Clay looked great.

I will not show that color green!!!!!!! Seriously everyone have a great time and take some beautiful pictures and I hope some clack of his singing. I really miss him and can not wait. I am in class all day Saturday and all day Sunday so I probably will not see anything till Sunday night. Someday I swear I am going to go!!!!

My prayers are with Clay and Family. My mother who is Grandpa age ask me just last week if I heard how he was doing. She always said after reading LTS that Clay and Grandpa had a special bond.

Akim I can understand the cost for bowling. Luckily I bowl in the morning and it is just $10 plus $1 for coffee, and $1 for jackpot. I think if it got to be alot more I would give it up. But when my kids were little it was my way of saving my sanity. I could go and they would go into the free nursery and I got to be with adults and adult conversation for a couple of hours.

Akim are you still bowling. Today I went to bowling, in our 4th week, and I looked and I had to hit a 147 average. My first two games were 134, and 146. I thought the third game I need to hit in the high 150 to not lower my average. To my surprise I bowled a 213. The highest I have bowled in maybe 5 years. I am loving the picture contest. My favorite may not always win, but except for the Jenna Bush picture, he never takes a bad picture.

I took a bag of candy corn in on Sat. to work. Several people told me that they are disgusting. I said that I like them and bought some new flavors(that I left a home). I only enjoy them now but it is not autumn time without seeing them in the stores. I also like the very sweet pumpkins. This is from a person who really only likes things with chocolate.

Clay is looking very good and happy in the new picture. I too, cannot wait to hear from him. I really miss him.

Feeding a whole bunch of people today from out of town and have been cooking all morning but before I leave until later tonight just want to say that I am also a ATDW lover. Before OMWH came out I had the CD in my car playing all the time. One of the best vocals on that CD is WY. I love that song and the way he sings it and loved hearing it in concert more. There is one song I really did not like at first and that EYGA. Then I heard him sing it live in Sterling Heights and fell in love with it. Clay will take a song and sing it live and it melts me.
