It looks like he is still on the show. This is going to be nerve racking not knowing if he last several weeks or not. I know we all what him to win or a least come in second.

I am going and never thought this would happen

Just prior to the chat I bit the bullet and bought a ticket. Have been working on this for a couple of weeks but finally figured how to do this as effecient as possible. I can not wait. This is my first Gala and can only go because of the change of date.

Home from my bike tour. Did a few less miles than I wanted to. We had two days of rain and we went out after the rain ended. The advantage of having a car with us. We did a total of 258 miles in 5 days. Now to catch up!!

Just checking in. Will be off line from this afternoon till probably late Sunday night. Leave today for our last bike tour of the year. 350 miles this time. Many hills to climb. I keep saying this should make me thin but the weight never changes!!! My DIL is 30 weeks along and having some contractions. I told her not this week I will not be available! Phone service in some areas is really iffy. Her mother is also out of town in another state. I am hoping she hangs in there for another couple of weeks at least. Maybe Clay will surface this weekend. He seems to whenever I am gone and not able to get online.

Idyj I loved those framed. In a drawer I have my playbill, but because when I was there it was Broadway Cares, Clay did not come out at stage door so I could not get it signed. I do have a picture with him that was taken after the show. I was in such a fog I did not realize he had both his hands on my shoulders when they snapped the picture. I also saved confetti. My hubby and I went on a bike ride today and we did 103 miles, not sure if I will be able to move to go to work tomorrow!!

Have not posted much lately, been working to many hours. I was off on Monday and did see the chat. Went to my friends house because I was not sure that IE would work even though I could get into chat. Thought he looked great and relaxed and I will be here when he is ready to comeback. Went out for a 40 mile bike ride this am and it was very hot and humid. Got back just before the rain. Next Wed. we are scheduled to do our only 100 miler for this year. Weather looks ok for now and it is suppose to be cooler. I work three days in a row after that. I have a feeling I may just be a little tired.

Went to see Sir Paul last night and had a great time. Put on a really good show. The one thing I did notice is for how long he has been in the business he really has a hard time bantering. He stumbles over his words and can not get a story out and make since. I laughed because after seeing some of Clay's pictures last week(the one with the white shirt and suspenders), Paul got hot and took his jacket off and there was a white shirt and suspenders. Did not do much for my Birthday, just got home from seeing Harry Potter.

All of the pictures are just fabulous. I was off online for the 6 days of my bike trip and could not wait to get back and read about today. Can not wait till tomorrow. Thank goodness I am off. My trip went great, we did 342 miles. It was really hot the last two days climbing those hills!!

Well my Birthday is coming up and then I have one year till I reach 60. No other Birthday has bothered me but I think that one will. I do not feel that old. Leaving Tues. morning for another bike tour. We are riding Tues. afternoon with some friends then the official tour starts on Wed. So far the weather looks ok, only a chance of rain near the end of the week. I am trying to get an aircard from a friend to take with me so I can have internet service. The campground does not. If I get a chance I will check in. All I know is that I will be back Sunday evening and will check in about the panel discussion and I am home from work yet on Monday so I can see the Talk.

Great bike trip and had a wonderful time. Worked hard on those hills but it good for me. I looke at the people who are 70-80 and can not believe they are still doing this. Hope I can. We went to me eldest sons for FatherS Day and he gave us a gift for both of us, my part for my Birthday next month. He gave us tickets for Paul McCartney in July in Detroit. I have always wanted to see him. My husband does not like to go to concerts and knows I do so he said I should take my concert buddy with me. She will be surprised tomorrow when I call her. I sure wish we had a Clay concert this year. I miss him.

Weather better now. We rode 58 miles yesterday and I thought the 10% grade was hard, well we had a 19% grade to go up and we made it!! Today we only did 44 miles but it was really hilly. Short ride tomorrow then home. Missing Clay wish we would here something. Happy Birthday Couchie, hope you have a great day.

Just checking in to see whats new. On a bike tour and it is raining out so I am in the tent on my computer. Yesterday was nice and we rode. It is hilly here than where we live, so climbing at 10% grade is work. The weather the rest of the week is supposely going to be nice. Check in when I can.

Day to ourselves, kids have other plans. Went out for a 53 mile bike ride this am and it was really hot and humid. Got two new toys for my bike. The first a bottle that sprays and has a fan for these very hot day. It fits into my bottle holder. I usually wear a camelback for more water. Then my hubby got me a device that measures the % of our hill climbing. It has been fun watching what it is telling us on some of our climbs. I putting the potatoes in the oven and stir frying some veggies and hubby is cooking the chicken on the grill.

Reading around you would think that Clay personally dug the grave and shovelled the dirt over himself. I love to hear about him, see him, and listen to him but do not need the constant reinforcement that he appreciates me. Some fans are really into the fact that he does not think about us and that he will loose so many more fans with nothing on the horizon. They feel he has no ability to pick up any new once he decides to become busy again. I am sorry but this is bullshit!! Some of us will stick this drought out and when he does have a new project I hope he picks up a shitload of new fans. I am so tired of the poor me syndrome.

I agree get that popcorn going, domesday is on the way. I loved the interview, and feel he really knows his future and he has something big going to happen just can not tell yet.

I renewed, I am so easy when it comes to Clay. Reading around, negativity starting, why can't his fans just be happy. I know he said no concerts this year so I am not expecting pre-sales. One person stated the price change and probably no presales and then added gloomy to the end. I am so tired of some fans attitudes!!

Been really busy lately with work. Today I am finally off and I have a meeting for my other job this am and a luncheon at noon. Got home late on Monday from work and watched Clay sing. He sounded and looks great. I do not know if that picture is Parker but the child is really cute and it would be nice if we got a glimpse of him.

Good Morning everyone and Happy Mothers Day. Went out yesterday for our first bike ride this year. Did 20 miles and got the kinks out of the bike. Something always has to be fixed the first time. Today we are going to do 40 miles, that is if my butt can handle it. Then to my sons house for dinner. I am a horrible gardner, went out and pulled the wild onions out of my flower bed this week. That is about as far as I get.

I also have been a fan since 03 and I am not leaving. I do not need the communication that others are proclaiming he must do. I went to lunch today with my concert buddy who is not on the boards and we discussed just that. We both agree no matter what he would blog he would be criticised by some. Sometimes when it starts, with all the comments that he should be doing this and that, I shake my head and wonder why do they think they know it all. Nobody really knows what is going on. I hope he will surprise us and then it will quiet people again.

Took our 2 year old grandson to a Easter egg hunt this morning. He was so funny trying to get he plastic eggs into his bucket. I am really enjoying being a grandmother. We are suppose to babysit tonight for a few hours. I do not worry about Clay. I have not commented elsewhere because I do not feel like argueing but everytime he goes away for a period of time the angst starts, then he does something and almost everyone is happy. When I read around how some people are so unhappy with him I wonder why they are still here. Negativity breeds more negativity and I get tired ot it. Aikim I agreed with your post at CV. Some of his fans are to needy.

Back from skiing yesterday. Drive only took us 20.5 hours. We have a joke between my husband and I about whenever I get behind the wheel the weather turns to shit. Well I was driving the last three hours and wouldn't you know but the snow was really coming down and the roads were getting slipperly. He said to me he just knew we would not get lucky with me behind the wheel. Those pictures of Clay are great, really like the one with Tori. I also am hoping more will add to the calendar. I will not be at the Gala but will live it through all of you. Even if I could figure out the money my ski patrol recert is that whole weekend, starting on Friday and all the way through Sunday.

Just checking in from skiing and my legs are really sore. Two days of hard skiing and I have a feeling getting out of bed tomorrow will be hard. I am so glad we are back!! Great news about DDD. I do not have cable so will have to pay a visit to my concert buddy house and watch the episode.

rohdy my official bike season starts the first week in May. We are scheduled for weekend rides from then on and I am going on three bike tours this summer. Before that though I am going to Colorado skiing in mid April. My son lives in Vail and I have not seen him for a year. We are staying in Brekenridge since the cost in Vail was really high. We will probably go there one day and ski.
