  1. Per notacanuck at CH :

Clay Aiken appears on Good Morning America in a two-part interview, Thursday and Friday. Titled, “Clay Aiken” My Story” one might assume he’ll be talking about the birth of his son, Parker.
    .

Could this also be part 2 of the promotion for the cd?

Please let it be happy, happy. I don't ever want to see that look on Clay's face like in the 2006 interview, which I haven't watched since.

Edited many times to get the facts right.

Hmmm... I think I feel a *cough*cold*cough* coming on later this week... at least for a couple hours on Thurs. & Fri. morning... *achoo* *sniff*

Oh, No!!! annabear! I just read your post and I think I may have caught the *cough*cold*cough* from you. I can probably manage to work for the next two days. But gosh, by Thursday I just may be too ill. :hysterical:

Yep, I think I'm contagious, even through the virus protection on your computer. I've been feeling steadily worse throughout the day. Not bad enough to affect me tomorrow or Wednesday, but I think definitely around Thursday morning.... :19:

And I agree with both of you, jmh & muski. Whatever he wants & feels comfortbale to share, that's great!

ETA: Yikes, {{{Cotton}}}! I think that deserves another chocolate bar! :F_05BL17blowkiss:

  3. Hope you have a verra :bday: aikim!

He really does look so young in the stage door pics! And CUTE! Or as bottle so aptly put it, damn CUTE! :flirtysmile3:

Glad our TX peeps are getting back into their homes and power & cable are returning. My mom headed back up to her house last night, where she is one in a group of about 10 houses in her neighborhood still without power. They're calling the storm we had last Sunday a "dry hurricane"....

Happy first day of fall! fall.gif

My favorite season! Cooler weather and the great pumpkin and apples and leaves and ragweed blooming and my sinuses going bonkers!

  4. It is his spirit, the joy makes him beautiful. It comes put through his skin

Aww, I think that sums it as well as anything, Play. :F_05BL17blowkiss: Sorry you were sitting next to some who, after 5 freakin' years, still just don't get it.

Glad to hear the good news about the wedding, aikim! Looking forward to seeing some pics when you can post them. ETA: Glad to hear your son's wedding went well too, gbmifan!

Busy weekend here with mom and a friend (who are still without power) visiting, homework, work, the usual household chores, and of course keeping up with Sir Robin - my sanity check! HA HA (tm Clay)

LOVE that freckled eyelid close-up pic! :flirtysmile3:

  5. Couchie, when in January are you going? I'm going in January, too, but I forgot when. I'll need to look at the tickets. If we're there at the same time, can we get together? I'll be with JaMar and Duckyvee.

Get thee to our FCA representing thread here and I'll add you to the list!

    Hee, jazzgirl! Never!

And I'm going back to work so I can see and enjoy this for myself come January!!

Me too! :whistling-1:Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work we go... :whistling-1:

    Ooops... wrong show...

  6. Any Cincinatti Reds Fans here? Crickets? My nephew was bat boy today... he just called me all excited telling me the details.

Been to a few games, but I wouldn't call myself a fan. :hysterical: But congrats to your nephew - what a fun thing!

It's sooooooooo good to see him again. *happy sigh* :flirtysmile3:

    From CrazyAboutClay at CV:

So, my friend received today in the mail a very large advertisement for Spamalot. You open it and it has a picture of a grail with Clay popping out of it. It also says, "International Superstar Clay Aiken returns to Spamalot Sept. 19." It also has some snippets of reviews, including the one from the AP, praising Clay. Have I mentioned that I absolutely LOVE Spamalot and the way they treat our Clay.

    And the ad:

    spamgrail_ad.jpg

Minor gripe - now my cable's out!

  8. ETA: OK, I was waiting on the phone at Carmine's while I typed:

For those attending Clay's final week at Spamalot:

We have a reservation at Carmine's for Sunday, Jan 4th at 6 PM (after his final show).

I could only get a reservation for 10 people....so, first 4 interested....we'd love you to join those of us who already expressed an interest:

    couchie

    ansamcw

    goldarngirl

    preden

    me myb

    From Claygary

If there are more than 4 other people interested~please do call them and just get another table...they still have reservations available at this point, but act fast! There are limited times/tables.

Here's the website for info: Carmine's Theatre District

Please note we are at the Theatre District location which is right across the street from the Shubert.

And here's another spot I'd love to visit this time:

    Ellen's Stardust Diner

Anyone up for lunch before the show on, say.....Friday Jan 2nd?

    .....or, suggest a time?

I'm planning *fingers, toes, eyes, etc. crossed* to be there Jan. 2 thru Jan. 5, so I'm up for Carmine's after the show! Not sure when I'll be getting in on Jan. 2, so not sure about lunch.

  10. bitch bitch bitch moan moan moan

That's my disclaimer for this post!

I am so sick of not being included in meetings, yet being asked to do things that were discussed in said meetings with the afterthought, "Oh. We should have invited you to that meeting." Ya think??! Then there are the meetings where they think to invite me, but only as they're walking past my desk on the way to the meeting. Why of course I can drop everything I'm working on and head off to a last minute 2 hour meeting with you! I'll just have to work through my lunch hour to get things ready for the afternoon meeting that was on my calendar ahead of time. <- Novel concept, no?

    :grrrr:
