  1. I'm one of those who loves Phantom - the stage presentation. The movie? Sucks. Really sucks.

All this talk of Les Mis makes me want to see it again.

Baby carrots & sugar snap peas are main veggies for the week too, jamar. The peas are really good with almond butter - yum! I've found that kiwi fruit lasts well. So does any kind of citrus.

  2. Claytonic... thanks. For those where there are Trader Joes, they carry a Crunchy Raw Almond butter that I love with a passion. Sprouted bread is alkaline and a toasted sprouted muffin with raw almond butter on it is delish and fills me up for hours. They carry raw cashews, too. I eat raw cashews, but they just aren't as yummy as the light salt roasted ones, dang it. More and more, researchers are finding the benefits to overall health are unbelievable by switching to a more alkaline diet. I'm down 53lbs now and loving it and the arthritis in my hands is gone!!! [/alkaline diet commercial] :cryingwlaughter:

    That's GREAT! Big congrats, liney!! :clap::woohoo::snoopy: :7: :dancingnana::dancingpickle:

I love the raw almond butter from Trader Joes too. Also their frozen brown rice. I'm always finding something interesting, tasty & healthy there. Good prices too!

  3. Anna I think I saw your puppy on a commercial for Pet Smart today.

I need to get him in commercials! Puppies are expen$ive!! :puppykiss:

hey people I was just trying to be funny there, which is why I said probably the only French Clay knows is a la mode as in "I want my apple pie a la mode".

I had not heard that term when I went to Juniors last year.

Ausdon: "Could I have ice cream with my apple pie please?"

Juniors waiter: "One apple pie a la mode"

Ausdon: "Oh no I would just like apple pie with ice cream"

Juniors waiter: ( suppressing a smile and talking realllly slooow) Yes, that is a la mode.

    Ausdon: " Oh OK!"

Juniors waiter: (fakes smile and thinks "stupid foreigners!)

    I love it!

BTW: On the 2nd April it was exactly 12 months since we started our excellent American adventure. :cry4:

My mom & I were just talking, over the weekend, about it being almost a year since our Spam-a-venture. :cry4: I still remember all of us standing around in Shubert Alley, well after the stage door, finally looking at each other, and deciding we might as well ask each other if we were the people we were looking for! :hahaha:

  4. From the OFC:

  5. My take, for what it's worth... He knows fans want to hear him sing again. He wants to sing again. But he's been going practically non-stop for 6 years and needs some time to recharge, especially now that he's a daddy. Appearances like ANTM & 30 Rock are great ways to keep his face & name out there without him having to be away from home (Parker) for long periods of time. They also aren't likely to impede much on any musical projects upon which he may be working. I'll be here, looking forward to whatever he offers. :)

ETA: Where oh where has our dear Scarlett gone?

  6. Awe Luckiest1 the puppies are adorable. Emily came over and got Trixie today, so we are once again down to one dog...he is sleeping right now so it is really quiet. I always miss Trixie after she has been here...but not enough to get a second dog.
:cryingwlaughter: I have to laugh at this, aikim! My mom has been down here almost every weekend since I got Gnocchi and she loves him to pieces, but when I teasingly ask her if she wants to take him home with her for a visit, she's like, "No way - that's why I'm the grandma!"

    :hello:frangomint

  7. Awww, they're so cute, luckiest! Let's see - I think I can figure out who's who... Jersey has the overall darker forehead (left & behind) and Piper has the darker 'wrinkles' on her forehead? :puppykiss:

Another beautiful day here - sunny, cloudless, almost 70. I bought a flexline leash for Gnocchi yesterday so he can run a bit more when we walk in the grassy areas. We took several walks today. He loves to run, but he's a bit hesitant to get too far away from me. :chores002:

Totally random, but maybe w/a little more walking I won't resemble that emoti so much... :huh-bwah:

Thunderstorms moving in now. We're under a tornado watch until sometime in the early morning. :thtwister2:

  8. On our way back from Windsor and the Seal concert yesterday*, laughn and I were discussing our favorite actors from Spamalot and what they might be doing now. laughn got this news about Tom Deckman from Clayphan from the OFC :

His next project is a series of webisodes, which he was starting to shoot on Tuesday morning. It can be found on www.teen.com starting May 4th, under the heading of "Haute and Bothered". He plays an 18 year old fashionista kind of guy. Tom wanted me to thank everyone for all the love and support we all showed him and the rest of the cast during Spamalot.

Thanks for the update on Tom. I miss Prince Herbert. *Where are you? Where are you? Where are you, my heart's desire?* :flirtysmile3:

I still get updates from Broadway.com and saw this regarding Rick Holmes:

, what kind of a dog is Jess? Sounds like you've done wonders with her.

For some reason, Photobucket keeps giving me this error message "Upload failed for Jez closeup.JPG with error: A network error caused your upload to fail. Please try your upload again."

It doesn't happen all the time but it happens MOST of the time now ... very strange as it never happened AT ALL until a couple of months ago.

Is there a way to post a pic directly from my hard drive, or another way besides Photobucket?

    Yes. :)

When posting a reply in which you want to post a photo, click the 'Browse' button in the 'Attachments' window, directly below your posting window.

    attach_pics.jpg

This will allow you to browse the files on your computer and choose the pic you're looking for. When you find it, click on it, then click 'UPLOAD'.

    Voila!

ETA: You're welcome, claytonic. Awww, Jess is a cutie! I love stories like yours. Most of my pets throughout my life have been strays or shelter adoptions.
