We also have them up at our site, but as always, please don't try downloading them from there unless you are using a download manager like Get Right or the equivalent. The servers have a tendency to crap out half way through otherwise and it can be quite frustrating. I decided to sit down and watch last night because I was interested in who would show up to sing. I was really, really happy to see Ruben given the star treatment. I thought he looked and sounded great. I loved the Green Day cover of Working Class Hero - that was awesome (and I don't generally like Green Day, but I luuuurve me some Lennon). The ending with John's voice gave me goosebumps. I loved the African Children's Choir. I hated Smoky, Gladys, Tony and Bette. All way past their prime. And seriously - if I wanted to listen to Motown I'd just put in a JBT dvd. Quiana & Angela (not to mention Clay) can sing circles around these people. I don't generally like my Beatles being covered - so some were credible (didn't mind the I Saw Her Standing There duet, and Carrie did a good job on She's Leaving Home) but the rest were horrid. Just.Say.No to Sargeant Pepper medleys. I'm glad Jordin won. (I have never liked Blake). I hope she does well.

It will definitely help pass the time from now until July 4th. Meh, I might turn on the AI Finale tonight out of curiosity, more over who will show up as a guest star than who will win. I don't think there's going to be much surprise there!

It's all meh to me. Tell me what channel to watch and when Clay's going to be on, and I'll be there (or download the clack). I haven't given a shit about a reality show since AI2. And yes, I drove 3 hours to the USA to vote that night. Never got one single land-line phone call to go through, but did get charged for 88 text messages (whether they counted or not is anyone's guess).

Waaaaaay late to the game, but I caught the clack quickly last night after my son's baseball game, and I was . Everything about that skit was perfect - Clay's delivery of the lines, the look on his face, the hair cut, the mustache. That was really an ingenious way to get him out in front of 20 million people and make sure they remember he's a pop star, at the same time highlighting his humour. I loved it! Lots of great media mentions already, and it doesn't hurt that they all seem to put it in the context of him being on a finale, but not the AI finale (which apparently sucked). So, this morning is the public sale date for Asheville, correct? I think I am going to stay far, far away from it, because I'm all set and I don't need more extras, but good luck to everyone who's trying again!

Ok, completely not Clay related.....but I know we have some Beatle fans here. I guess I've been living under a rock, but I just found out that McCartney is releasing a new album in June 5th, called Memory Almost Full. And it's available for pre-order on iTunes, with 3 bonus tracks and a video.....and when you do that (I just did) you get the first single downloaded automatically. Woo hoo! I am excited! I wonder if this means he might tour again? OMG I'd love that.....my one son wasn't quite old enough last time to have appreciated it, but he's 16 this summer, and he would love to come with me. Canadian Tire money is like coupons - every time you purchase something at Canadian Tire (big hardware/automotive store) you get a percentage of your purchase back in Canadian Tire money. You can use it as cash the next time you shop. It comes in different denominations - $0.05, $0.10, $0.25, $0.50, $1.00, $5.00.........probably higher but I guess I've never spent enough to get the big bills! I'd like one of each!

I think I'd die (or fall asleep) without internet at work. When it goes down at home I freak out, and start to get the shakes. However, our satellite has been out for almost two days now because of the stormy weather, and while I was annoyed about that last night (only because I wanted to watch the final 5 minutes of AI to see who got the boot *argh! why wasn't it Blake???*, and then watch Criminal Minds) I have decided that I am finally going to read the last 3 Dark Tower books by Stephen King between now and July 4th. I've been putting them off for 3 years! So I got a good jump on them last night.
