  1. I got out and about in the world today so I was able to check TnT stock. I didn't mean to, it just happened! I was at Target looking for another CD (by a super local-to-me band..I always try and support them) and I stumbled upon finding the regular TnT in the Best Sellers Pop category! Talk about shocked! He was between Beyonce and Shakira...LOL!! So in looking for this other CD, I went to Best Buy and they still have Clay stocked there too. 2 regular and 4 deluxe. I think our man's still in demand over here!
  2. Karen Eh? thanks again for more gorgeous pictures! If I have to break times down it looks pretty sad... 2004 IT - Detroit NAT - Clio (2nd night only) 2005 JBT - Clio 2006 JNAT - Detroit 2007 SRHP - Sterling Heights CITH - South Bend, Waukegan, Kalamazoo 2008 Spamalot - April (3x)...and it was the weekend he was "not feeling well" and there was that rumored wedding he was going to sing at, so he never came to the stage door....huge bummer as it was my only chance of going. Future: 2011 TnT - Ft. Wayne I can't believe it'll have been 3 years since I've seen him. Tooooo crazy.
  3. I'm home!! And wishing keepingfaith a very Off to catch up.......
  4. 11 only for me... 8 concerts and 3 Spams... #12 will be in Ft. Wayne. I've never met him either. Best seats ever? 2nd row in Sterling Heights. And that was a pretty amazing concert. I had front row for 2 of my 3 Spams too but it would have been nice to be a bit further back. I had a crick in my neck that hurt for quite a while after!
  5. Everyone going to the luncheon today have a great time! I still can't believe I'm missing out, nor am I even close enough to toss US cell phones over the river for you all to have to use for voting. Darn! LOL I don't think I could make them get over Lake Huron.
  6. Slow day, eh? I've done nothing but shop all week for this wedding on Saturday. I got the last of my outfit this afternoon. We leave in the morning tomorrow and I don't even know what else I'm packing yet. haha! NIP is #17 in the running...hopefully we can start October in the top 10 and stay there.
  7. Interesting that you mention the parents of bullies. There was a story that came out last week or so from this area where the mother actually took her son to the location of another kid deliberately to let her son beat the other kid up, and this was in a public place! She IS being charged as well as her son. Here's the story link: http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/25124745/detail.html
  8. It's a bonus track for Tried and True on the deluxe edition. Sorry you lost it.
  9. For those in the Houston area....any idea on how long the offer for the DVD of InnerViews stands?
  10. I wish I could claim the links, but it's keepingfaith you need to thank. MUAH babe! Durrr.. haha I got so excited I couldn't read! Thanks KF!
  11. bottlecap thanks so much for the voting reminders each day. Much appreciated. ldyjocelyn eeee thanks for the IML links!!! I'm getting them right now! I can't wait to have these for anytime!
  12. It's very possible you didn't feel it. Back at the house we were living in before we had to move, we had a carpenter ant problem earlier in the year. I had one on me and I never knew it. I freaked out though when I did see it! That scared me to know that could happen again. Thankfully there are NO bug problems in this place. I need to get moving. Going to a double birthday party 2 hours away and we're making a stop an hour out of the way. The kids are turning 4 and 1...eeeek! Well, I suppose the 1 year old could be turning 2..LOL
  13. He teased us about it in Clio during the JBT too. Told us he still wouldn't sing that song even if everyone had signs that said "Touch" on it.
  14. He said he hasn't sung that song since he recorded it and doesn't intend to. I no longer think it has anything to do with the song being suggestive. When he commented about the production of it, made me wonder if he didn't like the producer. Isn't this one he went to London to record? Anyway, it almost felt personal, like it was about more than the song. As if he didn't want people associated with it, whether songwriters, producer, arranger, whoever, to get anything more from it. That was my instinctive take -- that cutting this song out was a big FU to somebody. This is the first I'm hearing this take on the song, but I thought I had read somewhere that Clive "snuck" the song onto the album even after Clay said he didn't want it on there. Or maybe that's just a part of the whole story. I wasn't a fan yet when MOAM came out so I heard none of the back stories to any of the songs or studio time or anything till later. I still don't know much about the making of that album.
  15. Don't ask why I'm still up at an ungodly hour, but I am...but I just finished a small(ish) project and got some old-new stuff up and I'd hate to have my hard work go unseen...so here's a few wallpapers I made a couple years ago (except the Christmas one. I did that just this last year): http://shortyicons.livejournal.com/6360.html treenuts hope you feel better soon. I'm off to bed now too. I'm going to regret being up this late when I wake up.
  16. He stole that from my OFC bio! I love that he's so comfortable with himself now. I love that he wants to be really involved with his music as well (but if only he'd write some!). Those are my favorite kind of artists. I asked some friends if they'd like to split the membership with me so I can see this interview now rather than later. It sounds like a great one! Now...where's that pic of him in his pajamas??
  17. Good god I love him. Are you working on that transcript yet, kf??
  18. I don't drink coffee either, shorty. I LOVE their iced chai tea latte and get it too often! I order a soy-chai-latte (hot or cold depending on season) when I go to either Starbucks or Crane Coffee.... & I DO drink coffee See and I'm not a tea drinker OR a coffee drinker but I loooove my espresso. I have several drinks I like to order from there including raspberry and caramel mochas. And I looooove their seasonal drinks like peppermint mochas and pumpkin spice lattes....GAH! I think I'll take that gift card I have in after October first to get one.
  19. Because they do sell a nice variety of Tazo Teas And Chai tea too. Unless you're looking at it from the allergy angle. But their baked goods and breakfast sandwiches are really good as well! I love my Starbucks..lol aikim
  20. I've never actually been to Chicago either but I've been through it....twice. Because of a Clay concert in Waukegan. I'm only 4 hours away and unable to go, but I know that everyone who is there will have a great time..and have some for me! I'm not a big fan of Chicago deep dish pizza...I like New York style better. Some of the best pizza I've ever had was in that city.
  21. I just watched the first hour of Hell's Kitchen. Talk about intense!!! This season is going to be an interesting one I think... I've seen a LOT of Chef Ramsay tantrums (I watch just about anything he puts out) but what they have in the teaser for the next hour is beyond any I've seen before. I liked Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution earlier this year. I got a kick out of him! I'll be watching it again if they put it out.
  22. It could be him since I would think Jess would be able to tell. But I can't really tell from this. I like his look if it is. Interesting. Maybe she saw the front of him too and only got a back shot? ETA: She deleted the tweet.
  23. I watched the first 10 minutes of Detroit 187 the other day as a sneak preview thing and I really liked it. I love that they added the guys eating in a Coney Island place... it's dead on for city culture! I'm looking forward to seeing possible familiar and famous places featured in the show too. I'm a Glee fan, so of course I watched it...and can't say anything bad either. I think they started off the second season really well. On my list to catch up from last night is Raising Hope, Detroit 187 and One Tree Hill (I'd possibly quit with this one if James Lafferty weren't in it anymore, but I've also been watching since the first season, soooo... LOL). Then tonight is Hell's Kitchen, Modern Family and The Middle! I'm definitely looking forward to the Modern Family premiere!
