OMG what a long freakin' day..well longer for Solo and Perusingone and KAndre since I slept most of the way from Minneapolis to Omaha. I take back what I said about Damien..EVIL thing--- couldn't find the hotel ..just drove us to a dark place and that was that. We seriously could not find our hotel. So Perusingone pulled out her phone and start using the internet..but that was slow and I wondered if anybody just used plain old 411 anymore. I whipped out my cell phone and called 411... called the hotel and almost laughed out loud because a nice young man named CLAYTON answered the phone and guided us to our destination. First things first... We weren't too late for the pre concert dinner. Thanks Jamar for making reservations. LOL. Jamar and Bookwhore..two more gorgeous FCAers. I enjoyed seeing Jamar and meeting Bookwhore. I wish I had more time to spend with them but poor Perusingone ...we think she and Scarlett got food poisoning from something they ate last night so we didn't go for drinks after the show. I got to see the lovely Gibby again and her husband was a doll. And I did get to at least meet PuddinsJoy and Meesa in the Hall. Meesa was still on top of the world after her meet and greet So thanks to Scarlett I got to sit third row, dead center. Very nice view. I have to admit I got a little distracted by the front row at one point. All I can say is that if I were Hockeydonna or Huskerfalcon and i really wanted to see Clay that bad, I would slink in after the lights went down and disappear before he sang his last note. I really don't feel sad for them ..I'm kinda angry. There are so many crazy ass rumours out there about Clay and we have them to thank for some of them if not most First I found their delusions hysterical but now I'm just mad. At what point will they light come on for them. I mean, you boyfriend is on stage and you have to buy front row seats? Oh wait, I forgot, Clay is broke from buying all his songs he wrote for his album that was never released. I'm sure half of this stuff out there is just the telephone game and that makes it all the worse. Sitting two rows behind her though... I just saw a poor pathetic shell of her former self and I hope she gets help STAT. I hope the same for everyone who finds themselves caught up in this whole thing. And I really think the fandom needs to stop treating them and the Gus' of the world like celebrities. Shunning is what they deserve. That may be mean but it's what I believe.

All caught up!! CLAYGASM: Nobody died tonight heee. I forgot to mention the stories last night. I think they fit into what he was doing and I got a nice variety. I do prefer the funnier stories because I haven't had a lot of pain and loss in my life (thankfully) - and none associated with the holidays. It's always just been time of happiness and joy and sharing and giving. Loved Sean's mother's story .. it was very sweet. We bought our tickets independently so it was great when my seatmate turned out to be Zena. It was a pleasure to meet and spend time with her. She said it all in her recap. Favorite song of the night -- Don't Save it All for Xmas day. .surprise surprise. He sang the hell out of it tonight. I really love Angela's song. It's different for her and she does it justice for sure. I was approached tonight by a very nice lady..very cautiously and she said very nicely...are you Ethel? She was very nice. She actually had a meet and greet last night and will be writing a recap soon. I didn't bug her for any details. IMO there were lots of locals there and they were very receptive to the whole program and really seemed to love the stories. .. at least on my side of the room. That was nice. Clay looked fantabulous. OK did I tell ya'll about breakfast. To make up for the fondue chocolate fun of last night...this morning I had a vegetable frittada for breakfast. It was not good. All around me the eHP was sharing and eating corned beef hash and hash browns and bacon and sweet pecan rolls and mushroom benefict and lemon zest ricotta hotcakes and I had a dry flat vegetable frittada. They mocked me for eating it. And not a one of them asked me for a bite. OK so when I called to make a reservation at the restaurant they weren't taking anymore. That should have been clue number 1. But we had walked by the restaurant at about the same time the night before and it was pretty empty. Anyway, the very good looking manager..VERY good looking...or as KAndre just said....TASTY.. Perusingone says he was pleasant to look at..where was I...the place was CROWDED, probably all kind of Xmas parties going on, not to mention a damn parade going by and they said it didn't look good for us. But we persevered and he tried very hard and 45 minutes later we will finally sitting. Thank goodness. It was nice to meet Thankful4Clay and ChristelKlein tongiht. Waves to Invisible and Toni7babe who also joined us. Amazingly, I think we have actual organized parties for our last two stops. We're learning. Waves to FromClaygary who I did see several times in Minneapolis but didn't get to spend much time with. So Perusingone is lurker extraordinaire. She's cracking me up because she is constantly reading FCA trying to catch up. She was on the last thread when she left Florida... read 30 pages on the plane..and is now up to page 17 on this thread. Everybody keeps asking who she is so I told her she had to post at least once a month from now on. I'm thinking if she ever catches up maybe she will do that. But I did tell her she must stop reading while driving. That does not sound safe. Let's see what else... getting home from Orchestra Hall was quite the challenge...because they closed the skywalks..and we were trying to get home before we were locked out. We almost made it too. We ended up having to go outside to the street..and you know...it officially wasn't that bad in Minneapolis. Tomorrow off to Omaha. Can't wait to meet everyone.

Word to Claygasm and Jenna. And really when people like to point out how we think RCA is just wonderful I just worry about the educational system in this country. That has never been a theme here. And really if you truly read what we're saying there is a lot more analytical thinking going on than Clay is being used and absued and purposely set up to fail by a CEO with nothing better to do with his time. So, the posse went shopping. I kept up with them for a bit and since I hate shopping..I left them and then got lost in the numerous skyways trying to get back to the hotel and barely made it back to the room before them ETA: Minneapolis peeps..so don't forget we're meeting at the Newsroom at 5 PM... they weren't taking any more reservations (we're so organized LOL) but we'll still go..and I'm sure we'll be able to gather and make merry before the show at 7:30. It's only a few blocks to Orchestra Hall.

good morning angels...uh FCAers heee We're up.... don't believe a word KAndre says in her recap later. She lies. First of all the much maligned Damien? Other than that one obvious wrong turn, which I chalk up to just a cute sense of humor, Damien has cheerfully guided us to every destination. KAndre is awake. She is insisting that "Clay is not your friend, you stupid bitch" be a thread title choice. I think she's serious. It was fun meeting Zena..she's very funny and slightly off center. I love that in a person. Perusingone is now following some sort of company line about being shy and retiring. BWAH BWAH BWAH... KAndre swears she used the word introverted not shy and retiring....whatevah. Solo is out of the showering and demanding that we get moving. She's bossy for such a little person. Love waking up to Clay lovefest. He's really cute in case you didn't know.

And we're back... Loved the concert. I just sat back and took in his voice. I even closed my eyes a lot and just listened. I don't even have much more to say than that. It's all been said already. He really put new spins on things we've heard before and I really applaud that. The only thing I really didn't care for was My Grownup Christmas List. Everything else, perfection. My favorite word of the night..Bethlehem as in Christ is born in Bethlehem...love how he sings that note. I think my favorite thing was the jazzy medley... I really loved the arrangements on that entire thing. Don't Save It All For Xmas Day will just always be a favorite of mine during the Xmas shows. I love the power of the song, the message, and the way he wails on it. Looking forward to tomorrow night. I haven't watch much clack yet so need to hear the new songs again so that they become more familiar. My thoughts when I saw him was... he's so thin. Too thin LOL. He has blonde hair..not strawberry blonde I don't think...but blonde. It was a little startling but I'm sure I'll get used to it in a couple of days and he'll change it again next month, if not next week. I liked the style though. Ok so I really shouldn't confess this because nobody really saw me but... I bought a $45 ticket today for the show and I was sitting in the second tier. But as is the posse's way they got a lead on a ticket but when they announced the concert was about to start in five minutes I just went on up to my seat. Looking down on the main floor I could see Solo pick up her phone and I knew she was calling me to tell me they found jojoct so I could move on down to my 4th row seat. So knowing the concert was about to start any second, I started running down the two flights of stairs. Suddenly I noticed a breeze... well my pants that are a little loose had slipped down and cuddleduds were showing themselves to whatever fools were left in the lobby..fortunately probably nobody I'll ever see again. I grabbed them up with one hand and kept on going.... and made it to my seat with just a minute to spare. Just another adventure .... and yes I went to use the restroom in Scarlett's room and they all left me..LEFT ME. I heard it get quiet but know they just wouldn't forget about me right? Anyway, it's late. My complex is growing..especially after they took me, a diabetic to a fondue bar where we ate chocolate covered everything. Tomorrow I will be good..very good..eat green leafy things. Well I'll try.

Speak for yourself. hee Well I know if you went back and looked at my posts for the past year (which is impossible since I'm such a post whore) I know there were definitely times when I felt "something" was going on and I said something about it. This common agreement that Clay had left RCA and was moving on to Warner had "elite" in the fandom posters winking and nodding. I don't believe they were involved directly with FC but I believe THEY BELIEVED for a little while and then came to their senses. I also remember telling Ansa that someone that had been very anti RCA had posted a long post that was more conciliatory towards RCA and very reminiscent of everything she had been saying for the past year but she had been told to shut up. The timing really works with what we are now learning. And no I doubt anyone will ever say...that even for a little while..they were happy to be insiders. I just want to move on though..hopefully people have learned to question things that just doesn't sound right..like you know my favorite... AIW was released to bring Clay fans into the stores to buy Daughtery. That is my favorite one of all. Just ridiculous. We had a lovely afternoon with Zena..she is so funny. I won't give anything away yet because there is one person left with a special gift to receive. I must say that I'm having to work really really hard to get my special eHP designation. Everyone else including Zena seems to get cool ones. But I have a few more days to make my mark. heee And to make matters worse...we went over to Scarlett's..where she is staying with Toni7Babe and Invisible and had a short but lovely time with them. And when I went to use the bathroom..they just all left. Left me in a NOT MY hotel room and was actually at the elevators before they noticed that someone ...that is really hard to miss... wasn't among them. Thank you Toni7babe for pointing out to them that I was being left behind. I'm geting some sort of complex. But on the other hand, these girls knows their electronics. We're all set up with all our computers and we can just yak away for the next two days while we're here. They're all sleeping now..but hell it's 3 pm back home in California. I'm not the least bit tired. Well I survived the night. Don't believe anything they say about me. Spending a night with Scarlett was an eye opener. KAndre always said she wasn't so innocent but I never believed her. My innocense has been ripped away from me on that score though. Solo and Perusingone are hysterically funny and I was reminded that although they don't post a lot they do read everything because Solo threw something in my face about liking to get to the airport about 30 minutes before the plane leaves. KAndre's regaled us with HER interpretation of recent activities in the fandom. We should have recorded that for posterity although not very PC as you can imagine. Have fun at the mall FromClaygary. Zena, we're about to call you..you wanna have breakfast or brunch or whatever..I keep forgetting we're not in eastern time. Now for something completely different - dragging behind as usual - but I've deleted Huskerfalcon's membership. I don't think any explanation is necessary on this. I feel confident is the right thing to do. KAndre wanted me to say something else but it's too mean and I told her to do her own post. Speaking of cybersex -- I'm the only one in the room that doesn't sleep with some sort of electronic equipment. SLEEP WITH IT..HUGGED TIGHTLY TO THEIR BODIES..all manner of MP3 players and laptops. Ok Zena and I have connected by phone. She almost gave some strangers some sort of weird surprise... that she has planned for us FCAers. Not sure what it is yet. I think we had a bad phone connection because I kept saying... I'm at the _____ _______ hotel. And she was saying she was in the business center and she'll be right up. After about 10 minutes I called her again and LOL but she's at a totally different hotel. But she had gone tramping up to "my" hotel room. heee. Oh well...as soon as I can search through my PMs (my box if full again...how does that happen?) to see where we are going tomorrow - a hotel closer to the theater. Solo has done everything and all I printed out was my two plane tickets and the first hotel cuz I got in first. Went to the mall. ..... AND.... it's just a mall. All that anticipation and ... it's just a mall. I left after two hours. I don't like malls ....and this one is just bigger and noiser. So I'm done with the MOA. heee. I even ate at Panda..where I eat at least once a week at home. But for some reason I allowed myself to be pulled into some sort of market research survey... got my two dollars and I sang the praises of crystal light...lucky them, it's my favorite drink..but no I don't feel cool cuz I'm holding a Crystal light bwah. Between that and the fleece shirt and the coat...good lord. Ya'll know I have a little bit of personal padding anyway So my flight arrived at 6am. I mosied down to baggage claim. Got my stuff. Went and sat down adn went NOW WHAT heee. I haven't even thought about this trip. I'm usually mapquested out the ..well you know. But thank goodness for SOLO..she is the best damn travel agent/coordinator evah. Bet she'd never run out of food at a party So I pull out her email to see where I was staying...called them up and asked..uh where are ya'll exactly heee. I flirted with the guy on the line..and I don't normally do that. I don't. And he sent the free shuttle right over to pick me up, gave me a complimentary breakfast buffet coupon and checked me in.. at 7 AM. The first thing I did when I got in the room was TURN OFF THE DAMN HEAT. Jesus. up sometime today just PM me and send me your number and I'll call you back. So I did manage to get most of my Xmas shopping done but still want to go to this mall (and since I'll be here for a few days I don't have to do that today so if someone wants to do something else that is fine with me). But I did forget all manner of stuff like..hello my headphones for my ipod? Oooh I guess I can listen to Clay radio if I get the itch. Off to catch up.
