I have not had any issues with anybody regarding Clay..oh one guy 2 jobs ago but he was obsessed with Shakira so I had plenty of ammunition. I thought he was juvenile and I never let him upset me. I don't how I'd feel if it were a family member. I have an aunt who likes to tell my mother that Clay is gay but she has never said it to me. I also know she has issues as she also talks to my mom about her children all the time and one time was very upset to find out one of her sons was going with a white girl. Hello? This is 2008 and both my brother and sister are married to people who are not African American. To me she just doesn't think so nothing she says bothers me. My brother in law was another one who used to be on the but he didn't win kick and felt he was eclipsing Ruben. At first I just tried to tell him they are in the real world now and they are on their own...but after he went to the IT tour (only to see Kelly BWAH) he ended up respecting Clay and liking his set more. My family helps me sometimes when I want to get to Clay things or mailing pins or helping me when I help host our JNT05 party. I just don't know how I'd respond if they dissed to my face something that makes me so happy. So hugs to all that have to deal with this on any level. Do you think they are jealous of your time or affection or just being bratty? Jumping Jacks..yeah I've also said in the past that it's a respect issue between the people involved but now I believe that may be only one of the reasons. I think maybe jealousy or crying for attention may be another as well. Hell, do we have any experts around here

I so read the Fantasia differently. Randy was touting all the talented 16 year olds before the show began. But every single one of them gave in to their stage fright and could not handle the pressure of the competition. So up rose the 3 divas and that became their storyline. I don't think they gave a damn who won and LaToya seemed to be more of a favorite. Fantasia wasn't a darling from day one. When she sang well they said so. But she also got slammed. I think Simon said she sounded like Donald Duck. When she was left standing with a bunch of kids who had questionable talent they went to work overtime. But honestly, she was better than those that were left and I know she is an acquired taste hee. I think Diana or I can't sing a song on key Jasmine winning the whole thing would not have been good for Idol in year 3. Don't think sales matter anymore nor does it matter who wins. The show is a cultural phenomenon and it will get high ratings for years to come whether every last one of the winners fail. The money is in the advertising. Fantasia will continue to have a successful career for her genre. There are not a lot of big selling R&B artists out there. Not talking hip hop -- but R&B. You'd be surprised how many of the top R&B artists do not have a string of platinum albums.

yep with the strike, I think Idol will be bigger than ever this year, DEPENDING on the cast of characters they come up with. I was reading that they were doing Idol Gives Back again this year with some changes..what those are, I don't know. While Clay had me at TAKE I wasn't so deep that I thought much of it when he didn't make it in group 2. I thought both Ruben and Kim were better. bwah..this is the first soap I quit watching and have never been tempted to go back. Jesse huh. yes he died ON CAMERA so long ago. The actor never did have the kind of career I thught he would. Every now and then I see him and he still looks good though. OK let's talk about soap actors and their "aging." I'm not normally one to do this but I'm sorry...the botox or plastic surgery or whatever it is that is going on is just out of control. Bobbie and Monica on gH look unreal. On the other hand, Leslie looks great. Either she has never had plastic surgery or she has a good one. I saw Fiona Hutchinson of OLTL (Gabrielle) on one of the CSIs or L&Os or something or other my mom was watching last night and the woman looks 60 years old. No plastic surgery though so I'll take it. The thing is Max (Jim DePaiva) came back recently for Asa's funeral ...both he and Cord and they look 20 years younger than her. They look older but great. Play, BWAH.

I know that feeling of not knowing exactly what the hell you're supposed to be doing. So you were just moved into a new position and you had no say in it? And now your old job is filled? I was perfectly satisfied with my job until I interviewed last month for a new one which I apparantly didn't get since I haven't heard back from them after interviewing twice (costing me 5 hours of work time). I'm really pissed about that actually. And yep I wrote them a nice little thank you letter. Sigh.
