Thanks for the birthday greetings! I'm back from the wild New England weekend. Haven't had a chance to think about a recap, but here are some pictures from Vermont We had pretty far seats and the lighting was bad, but I still got a few good pictures. Tie tug Sellin’ it Quiana wincing in pain The girls’ revenge Can someone explain what’s happening with his ear?? The Clangela Full Album Enjoy! -

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE for your first concert Ansa. I'll bet by the next tour you'll be a concert ho! I'll come downstairs some morning and you'll be sleeping on my floor before the trip to some Northeast location! -
That's so sweet of him to put in Canadian events in his banter. However, for the transcribers, it's Trudeaumania.....

I'll be in the second row with my super zoom lens. We should be able to do an analysis of each of his freckles and nose hairs. I'm not giving Clay backtalk on your merchandise. You've seen the way he scolds people. thinks On the other hand, what did you say was in your order. Off to check on the bling and hoochie outfits. Must look good for Miss KAndre. -

Perhaps those in the front row should be providing cue cards for the MOAM segment as well. A different type of audience participation. I can't believe he finally sang WAMLAW -

Thanks for the camera info (single use camera??? EEEEK). Sounds similar to what I have. The set up which is in multiple ziplock bags within plastic bags all wrapped in my slicker. 40% chance of thunderstorms tonight. Yikes. As for the multiple concerts, you get in a groove. You also leave your bags packed by the door and ready to go! Halls throat soothers help too! We're pros at this now. -

bottlecap, when you say "telephoto lens" what do you mean? Was it a professional looking camera? Leg 1 of the journey to Indy is done. Whoo hoo. Now I just have to try to sleep tonight. couchtomato the one thing about that many concerts in that short a timeframe is that by the last concert you're not so sad to see it end. You're tired and want to get away from all the crazies. Last tour at my last concert (Raleigh), the tiaras, bling, t-shirts, signs, etc (sorry KAndre) were out in force. I was glad to see the concert, but not sad to walk away. -
Thanks for the heads up. I also think the father/sons-in-law team and the three brothers and the sister team look like the ones to beat. I wonder if the tasks will help even out age as a factor. It's hard to imagine an 8 year old competing in regular TAR. What's also interesting is that there are two professional PR types involved. It will be interesting to see if their communications skills hold up under pressure.

Just a minute - this is your FIRST concert bottlecap?? Do you have a plan for surviving? Friends with fans and other medical materials that may be necessary??? I can't believe both you and ansa have survived this long. Oh, and kudos to world dominatrix KAndre for being Fan-o-the-Day. -

For any newbies, there's a list of available tickets for sale (at cost) here. The list is growing, so take a look if you still need tickets (or want to upgrade) for a show. -

I can just picture you emptying the food court. Then you'll go up to the KFC window and demand some chicken! Seriously though, last year I did the long string o'concerts and this year I've got more space between then and I'm enjoying them more. It was almost overwhelming with that many concerts last time. I'm happy with my four this year. Getting psyched for Indy!! -
July 30, 2005 - Buffalo, NY - Darien Lake
Skatejoy replied to Couch Tomato's topic in 2005 JUKEBOX TOUR

I just realized how interesting this rule is. It's not against the rules law to break the law by violating copyright on a photo. It's only against the rules if it's another member's photo. Thus, the photographers have to remain members of the OFC in order to protect their work.... Hmmm... -
This one's in Michigan. Don't know if that helps. This Meadow Brook is actually two words (as opposed to the NH Meadowbrook).

You know, as much as the fans appreciate clack, I'm thinking most outsiders would not so much enjoy previewing the concert on the vomit-cam with so-so audio. There's nothing like their first concert experience. You might want to explain the concept and how the background singers are showcased. Most of all you should be prepared to answer lots of questions at intermission. And maybe some clack at the ready for them to take with after the concert. Also be prepared to answer lots of questions about the "interesting" fan behaviour at the concert. -

I got a mailing yesterday from my mother who lives in Canada. Included was a full color 5x7 picture of Clay from GMA. He's not doing any concerts anywhere near her. Guess Clay's made the big time in podunk Canada. It was just one of the stock pics we've already seen, so no new clack. Just thought it was interesting and a little random.
