I'm wearing a Clay shirt, does that count? Actually, I wore it yesterday as I was running errands. The lady at the greenhouse saw it and said, "oooo, Clay Aiken! Are you watching American Apprentice?" (Hee). "He should win." Also, the receptionist at my allergist knows I really like Clay, and kinda likes him too. She said the same thing to me, that he should win CApp, because he's been the best player. I love the way that this show has brought him back to the spotlight. It's shown him to be a smart, funny man. Also, I think he's a very perceptive man, in regards to personalities. I think I've known that, because of the way he deals with people in his audiences at concerts. But this show really crystallized that for me. I'm nervous, but also somewhat Zen. He's a great boyfriend, that much I know.

I've got church this morning, and then planting my garden before the sun gets too hot. Then, lunch out. After that, I'm home for the rest of the day. I'm going to try not to let the nerves get to me. My main concern at this point -- the possibility of thunderstorms tonight, which could potentially ruin my chance of seeing the show without warnings throughout! GO TEAM CLAY!

As I was going to bed last night, I noticed that the banner had centered itself. Thought that was kind of weird, but whatevs. This morning, I wake up...and there's another new banner! I think we're making up for lost time, because we hadn't changed banners in a LONG time. BTW...if anyone out there reading has banner ideas and can create them, we'd much appreciate it. Just let one of the admins know -- couchie, jmh, or me! fear, I'd forgotten that about the BOTW shirt! So, it's sounding like we may need to plan some sort of FCA gathering Friday evening? I think what we should try to do is hold it long enough so that anyone who is part of the VIP reception and also part of FCA can show up at the end and tell us stories!

Sadly, no I didn't. The only seats available were in the bum-fu** balcony, and I haven't had a chance to talk to my husband about it. From what my friend says, Carmel Indiana is a well-off suburb of Indianapolis, and people won't think twice about spending that money to be seen at this swank affair. I think it's not in the cards at this time. On the other hand, plans for the Gala seem to be a go so far! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

National Inclusion Project Gala 2012 website Tickets are not being sold as of yet; a third party entity will be doing the selling. Ticket pricing the same as previous years ($250 being the cheapest ticket). You'll know your seat when you buy your ticket. Hotel is the JW Marriott, next door to the Theater. $219.00 per night special rate is mentioning the Gala. VIP Reception also being held at this hotel. No silent auction this year, and no dinner/luncheon. Finally, no video/audio recording! ______ In other news...Clip from The Today Show this morning! ETA: How CUTE was that? Clay looked awesome, and his friendship with Arsenio was on full display. I'm gonna watch that clip a LOT today. And I'm off to nominate something Clay said as a thread title...
