KAndre, you are simply brilliant. There are two things in this recap, though, that I wish I could have experienced in person. The first: Having talked to these two women enough, I can simply imagine how this went down....pretty much exactly as you write here. (BTW, noticed you didn't bother to bold their names here. Smart move.) The second:

Try the veal.* As far as "mauling" Clay goes (and I'm writing this with my husband in the room, hee) -- some days I'm all about the mauling. Some days, though...I just want to hang out with him. It really depends on my mood, not to mention what he's doing at a particular moment.

Which of course, can't be right, since the whole problem with coffee and such for Clay. You do know what he's saying, right? "But I appreciate the offer." (If I remember correctly, it has to do with someone further in the back of the hall offering him a chance to sit with them....) Coffee. Offer. Not bad lip reading, actually. Aw man...Dickens was one of the few manadatory authors in high school that I actually liked -- a LOT. (But never, ever ask me about "Moby Dick," OK?) Never even touched "Siddartha," don't even really know what it's about. Bad librarian, right?

For a while there, I thought I was post-hoing...and then I figured out it was because I just loved watching my avatar. Over.and.over.and.over. *g* I'm just glad I was able to provide a few avatars. My photoshop skills are limited at best...but I do know how to crop. And thankfully, photobucket is so good at resizing stuff. I'm loving all the new avatars I'm seeing around here. Even play got a new one! stpteach, I hear ya about the "break in the action" (and getting into trouble, hee). It's nice to have a few days to catch my breath, watch the new clack, and just drink in Clay Aiken vicariously through clack. Clack -- the next best thing to being there.

I'm glad the California people are back home, safe in their beds or with their nice non-laptop computers! Hee. And safe travels for the next set of FCA people -- have a great time! I had the same thought....he looks just so regular guy in those pictures that I truly think I'd probably pass him right by. OK, so I'd probably think "he's cute," but no more than that. A prezzie for YSRN...

Different strokes for different folks then, I guess. I think he looks adorable in those pictures....but I'm at the point where I miss the bangs when they are not there. Of course, I also know that if he DID show up looking like that in concert...I'd still be swooning. I'm too easy. I haven't been on a roller coaster in years...and I miss that. If I were riding a coaster with him....good God, I don't think I'd survive. It looks like so much fun in those pictures.

I'm busy working this morning....meaning chatting with Ansa via gmail. (Gotta love that gmail....) She says hello to everyone here, and is missing the place terribly. At this point, she won't be online again until she gets back home Friday. She's had four wonderful concert experiences and is incredibly grateful that she got to do the busline in SD. She's also had a blast meeting all the FCA people! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Ansa! ETA: Ansa reports that there's a rumor out there....one that's pretty cool IMO. I just want to know why he's still wearing Sean's undershirts. Not that I'm complaining or anything. Nice avatar Clayzor....and hope you feel better soon. Question: when in the LA/Greek show was the banter with Clay snugging up to Angela and then saying to her family "surprise!"? Has a clip of that shown up yet? NEEEEEEEEEEEEED to see this.

Certer saw the rivet tonight!!!! The whole front section was for the high rollers, and they were a tough crowd...sitting the entire time. The cello player handed Clay a CD case with "367 fast songs for orchestra" on it -- but no CD inside! I think I need to get to bed though....can someone take over for the after concert?

His thank you for staying around for 4 years seems so heartfelt to me. Clay -- I'll be around for 40 years, OK? This song makes me tear up every.single.time.
