  1. Want to see what it would be like if Clay scolds you? Get the clip titled "070706_Houston_SpitClackEyeShadowBanter_Scarlett." This is the clip where Scarlett got BUSTED, and he looks directly at her. I've watched him scolding me more than a few times at this point. *g*
  2. Need a refresher course on all things HP before the final book comes out? This was posted on the CH: SparkNotes Scroll down a bit to find the Harry Potter titles.
  3. And I've gone from one extreme to the other -- a 15 minute commute, to an hour commute (one way, no less -- I was spending 10 hours in my car a WEEK), to now a lowly 5 minute commute. As much as that hour one was deadly, I really did enjoy listening to clack on the drive. Unfortunately, this was before ATDW, so I couldn't drink that one in as much.... I actually do too -- as long as they don't become DEMANDS. And I do feel that happens more than a few times. atinal -- fantastic recap! I wrote a two page tome about the Tulsa show last night, I'm still not finished....but now I don't think I really need to. You've pretty much said everything I thought about the show. Except that I got to touch his hand. *g* treenuts -- eh, don't worry about it. In all honestly, I'd love to see that backside better too...but then I also totally agree with him that I think he has no butt whatsoever. Now I know why -- it's his TV addiction. Heh. OTOH, I SO totally agree with your thinking on HYCA. That has always been MY song on that album -- the arrangement is magical, and I think he does a marvelous job with it. *dweemy sigh*
  4. Cute image from Jesse's MySpace page, from the BAF Gala: treenuts, I respectfully disagree with you on his look for this tour. I think the hair is adorable (it honestly looks the same to me as the BAF Gala hair, just a bit more messy). As for the jeans...well, yeah....I'd like tighter ones. But I think that Clay thinks he'd get arrested if he had on tighter jeans while singing OPP. Know what I mean? I'd totally forgotten about Clay saying he's going to appear on the 5th Grader show. I actually think that will be kinda fun for him. Wah! I want Scarlett's videos! And the server is dead! Wah! Have fun Clayzorback! See you in a few days! OK, now I'm curious about CG's reaction.....
  5. bottlecap -- I love you when you smut. The Bedazzler? Heh. Yay for playbiller getting wireless! Is it time for a few more of these? Don't you just the love the high quality of my posts lately?
  6. Oh God, how could I forget the Cheez Doodles?!?!?! I guess it's because I ATE them after the Tulsa show....I was hungry that night! Yes, this has been an incredibly fun day on the boards.
  7. The swag at the Tulsa party was fantastic....but I think the swag at the Houston party was much more clever. We got bags with Clay's picture on them. We got a small goody bag with two soaps and one small shower gel in it; the soaps each said "Be Squeaky Clean with Clay" and "As Clean as the Man Himself, Use Clay's Own Soap." The picture on each of these was, of course, the infamous Clay-in-bathtub-as-a-child picture. There was another little bag with an assortment of candies -- some of these having Clay's picture on them too. Everyone got a laminated poster of Clay -- mine was one of Karen Eh?'s Christmas pictures, but I also saw the 2006 AMA guy and Elvis Jukebox guy. Was this the swag bag that had the small picture frame in it? Mine had 2006 AMA guy in it (EEEEEEEEEEEE, loved that one). But IMO the best was the name tag: Of course, it's on a leather strap. Mmmmm...Clay and leather....mmmmm... Um, where was I? Oh yeah...the other great swag was the poster that was decorating the room: So you don't all have to pull out your reading glasses (because we're all grannies, you know *g*), here's what it says: ____ WANTED: Clay "OMG" and/or "EEEE" Aiken $10,000,000 Reward in Clay Nation Currency, Coinage or Clack The crimes are listed as: Clearly made promises with his eyes he doesn't keep Teased numerous women unmercifully (enjoyment of such teasing is immaterial) Believed to have stolen thousands, if not millions, of hearts Forced many to only enjoy a higher standard of vocal ability Emptied numerous bank accoutns (eager cooperation of "victims" is immaterial) Refuses to provide individual concerts for every single fan worldwide And then at the bottom, in small print: Turn this "desparado" over to the evil Houston Posse as soon as poosible! Don't you worry about what we'll do with him. We guarantee we he will get our his just desserts... ___ I love this poster! rcknrllmom, you should have found me! I would have introduced you to people!
  8. Welcome beenthinking! If you've met Ms couchie and survived her, you'll fit in just fine! :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  9. Oh dear...we went through another page without this being posted... Gotta do my duty, you know. *g*
  10. Oh for Pete's sake.... I understand the whole "work" thing, but sheesh. I've mastered the move of minimizing a window. Just sayin'. And I just tried turning off images in both Mozilla and IE...not hard at all. EEEEEEE! SLC's EYGA is up here! It really shows the silliness at the end too. Good Lord, I love that man. He's goofy and sexy and hawt and silly and...shall I go on?
  11. You know, I think there may be a pin design in that somehow, with a cubic zirconia in place of the rivet (or as I call it, stud. Heh). Or maybe we can convince atinal to make some more keychains using that picture and a well placed sequin. PWEEZE?!?!?!? :F_05BL17blowkiss: Heh. Somebody should email her a copy of the blinking rivet gif..... :medium-smiley-070: That's funny. I'm also actually enjoying some of the headlines that I'm reading from this damn story. My favorite has been from New York magazine: Clay Aiken's Foot Disciplined, Apologetic Shoot, I'd discipline his feet any old time. Probably with a feather. Or some fur.
  12. this is probably some snark...right? will keep an eye out for other reports on this but so far haven;t seen any other report on this. After the "news" from this weekend, plus Clay's reaction (both at the concert, and the way the press release was worded), I would guess it is snark too. If it isn't -- anybody want some kevlar armor? KAndre, "Bills Bills Bills" was the one song in the medley that I had NO CLUE what it was. I had to go to YouTube yesterday to watch the original video, and then was doing the "wow, that's ORIGINAL Destiny's Child!" But I love your suggestion that Clay add "Legs" to the medley. Guh.
  13. Whoops, sorry I didn't mention that -- it's for ETYGA. (Another of those songs that was really sold to me after the show that night...) You can hear it in the LauraQ audio that they take the last note and mellisma up a storm with it. It was incredibly silly to watch, and I would not be surprised at ALL if this turns into the note holding contest of the 2007 tour. You know what guys? We're SLIPPING! This hasn't been posted in 2 pages!!!
  14. Welcome curiousgladys! I love that screen name, sounds like there should be a good story involved with that. Shoot, I missed meeting you in Houston!
  15. The first part of this statement made me nod in agreement so much. And then he throws on the tag line that made me want to just give him a big ole hug. Clay, from your lips to God's ears. I've been asking for that from Top 40 for a LONG time now, no matter the artist. If he can do that (and I sincerely hope that he can), I'll be a happy, happy camper. Sadly true, IMO. Wouldn't it be funny if he does see it, finds out that they don't really pick on him that much (from what I'm hearing) and then endorses the show? BTW, CG -- I hope you have a fabulous time at the show. I'm really looking forward to your take on it. I just have a hunch that him doing something like Broadway would take the same kind of convincing behind the scenes as his writing a song was. I personally think he could do it, or should at least try....except for this.... Yeah, there's that little thing about memorizing lines that might give him a little problem. Heh. :F_05BL17blowkiss: atinal Happy birthday Alex! Your Mom is a good one, even if she's obsessed with a certain part of Clay's anatomy... lickiest1, I hope your son does better with his hitting in the near future! I haven't tried to download any audio yet, so I don't know about that. However, I did download some Tulsa clack that I think has better sound than spot's, and that's from SLC. Much of her actual video is black (because she was hiding from the camera nazis), but she left the camera on. I really think the audio quality is fantastic, and I hope she gets the rest of the show up soon. I haven't seen a full video clip yet, but there is a beautiful full audio clip from LauraQ. I know cuz it was the only freaking Tulsa audio clip that would play on my iPod last night! So I listened to it a few times. 070707_Tulsa_ETYGA_LauraQ.mp3 I talked to spot on my way to the airport on Sunday morning, and she told me that she had gotten everything at Tulsa except for one song..."and then, that was one he was so funny on." So I'm going to guess that unless SLC has it, this might be some lost clack. Really sad too, because Clay, Quiana and Angela were so funny with that last note at the end. "ooooooooooooooo, ooooooooooo, ooooooooo" ad infinatum. I think it lasted for a good minute. Silly, silly people. Clayzor, I totally spaced on you wanting that avatar. But you know what? I'm sure when the concerts roll around again, avatars will be changing practically daily...and he'll do some new thrusting...and that will be the end of us all. Not to sound famewhorish, but I hope so. I know Quiana knows about FCA itself....but does she know about the message board? Hmmmm....maybe I should look at that membership list a little more carefully....
  16. play, can I blame it on clack overload? Sowwy. I usually get those kinds of jokes. Damn. I think I lost my FCA card by missing that. *sob*
  17. muski, I so agree -- I love this board, and I'd like to think that Clay would too. And yes, the juxtaposition of your avi and your membership status is rather, uh, profound. Hey couchie, weren't you planning on changing those soon? *g* play, no one is getting a private concert...sadly. OTOH, I'd like to hope that if someone did get a private concert from this board, they'd invite all their friends. I'm bringing over a quote from the Houston concert thread, with something I've been thinking about for a while after this past weekend.... merrieeee, I was planning on mentioning something similar to this in my Tulsa recap. Damn you... :F_05BL17blowkiss: Seriously, I know exactly what you mean -- the man simply knows how to put on an entertaining show. He's got charisma to burn, energy out the wazoo, a fantastically quick wit, and oh yeah, a voice that slays. He is truly the entire package. Heh. After the Tulsa show, I think it was Clayzorback said that Clay was born about 50 years too late, and I think that's kinda true. He'd fit right in with those old school variety shows...even possibly Milton Berle, perhaps? (I keep thinking about Clay doing his Cher vs. Milton in his dresses...for some reason. Don't shoot me.) I know this isn't a real popular idea in the fandom, or maybe on this board even, but I proudly hold on to it. Clay Aiken is an ENTERTAINER. And that's the box I want to put him into. *g*
  18. You know, I really hope Clay finds this board some time. He'd love the scintillating conversation we're having this evening!
  19. Here ya go Gibby! (I just saved it as an avatar setting in my photobucket account. That is one of the best features of photobucket!) Do I get a private concert with Clay for helping you?
  20. Comparing Houston and Tulsa, to me, is like comparing my two favorite children. It's hard, you know? Houston had a gorgeous comfortable venue....but I think the sound was rather muddied, both for Clay and the orchestra. The Tulsa venue was hot and not really attractive....but the sound, for some reason, was much better to me. Yep, surprised me too. As far as Clay's performances go -- I personally thought he was in stronger voice in Houston. It seemed to me that he was straining a bit toward the end of BYLM in Tulsa. On the other end of the spectrum, though, he seemed to be full of "piss and vinegar" more in Tulsa, probably because of the crowd. Individual songs -- I thought the classics medley was better in Houston, because I'm still cracking up over him getting on his knees during 1999. LAA, to me, was better in Tulsa. I think the sound problems had much to do with that. Finally, ITA with everyone who would really like to hear him sing TWYMMF. I enjoy his goofing off with it, but I do think he'd do justice for that song.
  21. :F_05BL17blowkiss: to both CG and bottlecap for their suggestions. CG, I took one of the pictures you suggested as my avi yesterday (the one by snowdrop). It seems though that there aren't many full-out grin pictures from those two shows. I'll keep looking though...like you have to twist my arm or anything. I keep forgetting to congratulate muski's daughter for being such a good pitcher lately! I hope everything with your plans works out though.... ETA: I just PM'd geekette over there for you muski....
  22. ITA. He's one more foil for Clay on that stage, and a darn cute one at that. Talented musician too. Cute as hell. And duh, it only took me how many shows to realize his "forgetting" was on purpose! It's the fan interaction segment -- well the planned one. Heh! You know, I wondered about that. Yes, I'm gullible, why do you ask? Seriously, I think it probably started out as a song he WOULD sing -- but after one night in Houston he just said "ah, screw it. Let's have fun instead." God, I love him. Wah, no one has answered my plea for grinning Clay from either Houston or Tulsa! WAH!
