I'm just happy to see you all still here. I think someday we will be meeting up again for either the NIP or a concert or even on Broadway. But for now I'm very happy to see Clay once again making a difference.

Thank you merrieeee. Amazing how his name is recognized everywhere. I was doing a friend's taxes at home today. She asked if I had seen Clay recently. I told her he was doing something a little different now. She said, you mean running for office? She does not follow politics at all, but she knew what Clay was doing.

Fifth graders are so much fun. I hope Clay has a ball. We love our fifth graders. They are enthusiastic and so open to learning. He can't change too many minds to vote for him, so it's really sweet that he would do something like this.

Merrieeee, I feel for you. Some people are living in another century. Particularly in sports. Look at those men bashing the baseball player for taking 2 days to help with the birth of his baby. I'd just write it off to ignorance. I think Clay enjoyed being a performer. He knows his voice is special. But being very intelligent, it must have been very annoying to be grouped in with other singers that might be just about publicity. Also with outspoken fans talking about not liking this song or that, where was the joy anymore? I am happy that once again he is trying to make a difference. I only hope the voters in district 2 recognize that. And I really believe he will sing again for the pure joy of it. JMO

I don't consider a blog correspondance. It's someone's opinion on the internet. You can read it or not. JMO. I think this was the response to Elmers' comment on "a Hollywood celebrity", as she described Clay. I personally don't use it , but my sons sure do. They are definitely after the youth vote.

Thanks merrieeee and ldyj. Still enjoying the pictures. Decided I can't make it to Charlotte to see and hear Clay. Can't leave my tax crew in the lurch and wouldn't make it on time anyway. Still looking for an opportunity. Hope everyone is doing well.

Clay has a fundraiser in Asheville tonight . I got an email yesterday about it. Three hours from me, so I won't be there.

Take it easy merrieeee. I appreciate your bringing the tweets to us. I'm excited that its almost April 15 and our school kids are on Spring break this week. Im trying to see if I can make it to Clay's fundraiser in Charlotte on a tax day. Keeping my fingers crossed that it'll work out.

Luckiest, I think you and others out of the country are supporting Clay just by being here. Hopefully we just had our last snow for the season. Didn't stick but got our kindergartners all excited this morning. Off to do taxes this afternoon. Good luck tonight Clay.

It was terribly icey last night and temps were below freezing this morning. Should thaw out today. Lots of pictures in our local paper of overturned cars. A tractor trailer fell off the highway and burned. Good idea to delay the open house.

I won't be going to Clay's open house as I'll be doing taxes until at least 4 or 5. And it'll take about 2 hours to get there. A friend and I will be going to one of his meetings when I don't have a commitment., which might be after 4/15. But have camera will travel. We have had crazy weather here today. Between snow, rain and sleet with the temp staying at 32. Was supposed to go to Tai Chi tonight but concerned about the roads freezing up tonight. I'll work on my taxes instead.

Couchie, sent a donation from Paypal. Never got the original amount that went to the wrong email address returned despite sending that person an email. Enjoyed Clay's email about his Dr. Seuss reading to the kids. Even now Dr. Seuss is an amazing influence to kids. Enjoy the beautiful weather. The daffodils are blooming here as well as the trees.
