No, we are not bowling this year...decided to take a break. It was getting a little expensive...$35 a week not to mention the pots and beer money...and since we are renovating our living room decided to put that money towards the renovation. Have to say though I do not miss rushing around on Friday nights to get out the door...especially not going to miss now that it in the middle of January! Congrats on the 213...the highest I have ever bowled is a 200...and my average is usually around 127...we may go out some Sunday and bowl a few games just to keep up with it in case we decide to go back. Isn't t his tour supposed to be a showcase for Cherise? Why would David possibly upstage her with Clay and Ruben? Personally, I don't like this whole "surprise guest" business...would much rather that if Clay were going to be there that they announced it ahead of time...unless of course they didn't want it to turn into the Clay Aiken show...maybe not announcing it allows the fans of the others stars to purchase tickets. Really a moot point for me since I could not see spending money for a show that I am not really interested in on the off chance that Clay might be there. Kim

My first reaction to the news that he was gay was relief; I was so tired of the "is he or isn't he" ...Clay is such an enigma that at any given time, I could believe either way, but I think in my heart of hearts I knew he was gay...but wishing he wasn't because it would be so much easier if he were straight. But I honestly never saw him with the white picket fence and the perfect marriage with a wife and two kids...I'm still not sure if he would be happy being settled down with someone, even Reed. He is probably pretty set in his ways and probably likes being able to come and go as he pleases; add Parker and Jaymes in the mix and his life is pretty compartmentalized...the only thing that was important to me was that he was happy and he is. His personal life is his own now and in a few months the second stage of his career will begin...I really do believe the best is yet to come. Nothing wrong with fantasy, but I think some fans blurred the lines between fantasy and reality and that can't be blamed on Clay. I went back and read his "Elephant in The Room" blog (on the front page of FCA) and still a year later, it is so powerful....I wish all those fans who left for one reason or another would read it again and really understand his words and why he made the decisions he did.
