ldyj I agree with you; I don't mind when Clay is out of the public eye for a while (I really dislike the term "drought") because I know when he is back it will be worth the wait. I really think we will be hearing something in the next couple of weeks. Back to work for me...I really enjoyed my week off...got a lot of organizing done in the house; cleaned my room from top to bottom and found a roll of film that never got developed...going to drop it off at Wal-Mart this morning...can't wait to see what is actually on it...have a feeling it will probably be one of the kid's graduation, LOL. Hubby is still home this week, hope he gets more done in the living room. Didn't get much done last week as he spent most of it working on my Daughter's car...finally had to take it in and have it tuned up and spark plug wires replaced. First day of vacation and I am up at 6:00....guess my body clock didn't get the message! A little overcast right now, but hoping the sun will peek out later. Hubby will be spending the morning putting a new radiator in my daughter's car...right now it is parked at the Walgreen's up the street where she landed when it started acting up and she pulled in to discover all her coolant pouring out of the car. So glad hubby knows how to fix these things...saves us a lot of money. Yesterday he pulled off the paneling in the corner next to our new closet where we are making a computer nook...that is what he will be working on this week. 89 Days until The BAF Gala! Good Morning Everyone, So surprised that there is no mention that Clay was online last night; no blog or questions answers, but he was there for at least an hour. That is 3 days in a row...really wonder what he is up to...this is sure to fuel lots of speculation. My thought...he is going back through the question thread and making notes on questions he missed the first time and is going to have a marathon answer session. Sad news this morning...don't know how many knew her, but we lost a wonderful Clay fan last night, xxx4clay; she had been ill for sometime. I am officially on vacation for the next week! Should be an interesting one...I think I mentioned we were renovating our living room and hubby is doing the work...well, he will be on vacation for two weeks and I am hoping to make quite a bit of progress on the room. The paint colors are picked out...we have to pull out all the old paneling; put up new dry wall; pull up the carpeting...basically tearing the whole room apart and starting from scratch...we've already done other rooms in the house so this isn't new to us, but this is the largest room and will probably take the most time. We won't get it done in two weeks, but I am hoping to make more progress than what he has been able to accomplish on the week-ends. He did build a new closet in one corner of the room (it is L-shaped) as our old closet was much to small (but amazing how much crap I had shoved in there!)...still has to do the molding and trim work on it...but that shouldn't take long and then we can move on to the rest of the room! ldyj I totally agree with you regarding Clay's career; I never worry about it; I'll admit I get antsy when we don't hear from him for a while...but I figure he is entitled to a life just as much as we are and when he has something to share he will. Hear that...that is the sound of silence...kids are gone and took the dog with him...hubby is sleeping, cat is sleeping and I have the house to myself....It is Clack time!!! Been watching videos from the NAT tour...forgot what a fun show that was...Gus singing his version of The Way to Clay in Iowa...the red velvet or was it corduroy in Springfield, Mass...YGAF in Rhode Island when Waldo just couldn't contain himself..."I Knew You Were Waiting"...totally forgot about that song and how Angie and Clay were rocking out to it...the blue Indian looking shirt, that I think some thought looked like a maternity shirt...Clay emerging from the "spaceship"...so many other moments...I was just smiling and singing along! Off to see what other treasures are lurking in my desk drawer.... Kim
