I figured it was an accepted adjective in the US to describe a good looking guy. I just rarely hear it used here in relation to guys but I am sure it happens because if it's heard on American TV programs that are shown here it will be copied by someone. I don't watch enough TV to have heard it being used, at least not in recent memory. I just remember the reaction I got but that was long ago, and I've just never used it again unless I am talking about animal or human babies! Every time I see it used here, which is quite often... I always remember back to that day. It's no big deal, I just can't shake the memory of it though. When I see a hot pic of Clay, my reaction is "what a spunk!" ETA: canfly NNHB? Since CF was here and so rudely ignored you (she has no manners), I'll answer your question. NNHB is hers and Sparky's board and it stands for Nearly No Holds Barred. She has the link in her posts cuz she keeps trying to capture people and make them post over there. That's how she got me. Bunch of heathens over there so be careful. They'll corrupt you. That's what happened to me. And I never knew that was Murah. Man, I got to learn how to take clack so I can get some personal attention from Clay. So where's the damned sendspace?

Not that I'd do it, cuz if it involves too many steps, it's just not worth it.

I'm another who loves Careless Whisper and would love to hear Clay sing it. Lots of songs I'd like to hear Clay sing. And I'm with muski with the wink, wink and all that.

That wasn't a silly question clazy. I have a horrible memory when it comes to pinpointing where something comes from so I always like it when someone asks about something that I've forgotten about so I can go check it out.

I can't say that I'm worried. Actually this time I'm very hopeful that good things are coming. My problem is that I am very impatient. I'm the one who will usually go to the end of the book before I've finished it to find out the ending and who doesn't feel like a movie or tv show is ruined if I've already heard the end. So waiting just kills me, especially when its about Clay. If there was a 24 hour Clay channel, I'd never leave my couch. Now even though I'm impatient with that kind of stuff, with most other things in my life, except traffic, I'm usually pretty patient. Had years of practice.

FromClaygary, I donated the same book to a local library and they never put it on their shelves either. Then when they were having a book sale, I found it on a table being sold for 10 cents. I was ticked so I bought the book back and I won't be donating to them again. If anyone has kids books, those can always be donated to elementary schools because they never have enough funds.

While I may need way more info to form an opinion, it doesn't stop me from hoping. I'd love to see him on idol to wipe up the floor with everyone else. Maybe he can use Simon's face to do it. By the way, who the hell came up with that expression anyway? And CF, can you possibly postwhore any more?

I couldn't do audio books because I have the attention span of a gnat. I can't even listen to a full Clay song at one time without my mind wandering off somewhere and by the time it comes back, I've done missed half the cd. Of course, some of the time I'm daydreaming about Clay and sex, and what's going to compete with that? I mean, come on, it's Clay and sex. I'm just lucky I've never crashed the car.

Bookwhore, nice to see you back. For pleasure, I like to read a book but for information or to piss off CF, I like to do that online. And CF, I'm sorry, I hadn't been rude to you on the previous page. Let me make up for it now:

Well, you can all thank me for the blog since I did clean my house and all. Glad I didn't do the facebook thing yet cuz then I would have had to figure out how to unfriend someone. Now is this the same facebook that CANN was trying to get people to add Clay as a friend or is this a different one? I think its cool that both Clay and Reed posted last night to take on the nutjobs. I don't really think this is that different than what Clay has done in the past. If the rumors just affected him, he does just ignore, but when rumors or crazies do things that affect people he cares about (and I am including us in that because I do believe he cares a great deal for his fans), then he will tackle it head on. When he found out about FBM and how she was taking advantage of fans, he addressed the situation. Wasn't his fault that some fans are still delusional and continued to support her. What I do think is different in Clay's last blog is how much more open he seemed. It was like how we talk with each other and not so politically correct, which is how he used to post. Like he didn't want to offend anyone so he tried to use the right words all the time. Now he seems to feel more free to be himself, which may actually lead to more blogs. Works for me.

Well, I hope Clay is happy. Because we haven't heard anything lately, I finally broke down and did some cleaning. Not much, but more than usual. Maybe now he'll blog. I think I deserve a reward.

Congratulations again Smitten. And too bad that when they talk about Clay's numbers in the media they don't say how well he has done compared to many other sellers today. Yes, Taylor Swift has sold a lot with her cd, but she's everywhere. Unlike Clay who got weak promotion and basically did it alone. Can't wait to see what's coming because I do really think the best is yet to come. He's free now, in so many ways, and he has so much talent that I feel really good right now. Well, at least about him. I still feel like crap. Will this stomach flu never leave.

Damn, I was going to try to quote CF but I'm still ignoring her instructions on quoting. She puts all this extra stuff in there and I get bored. Never said I wasn't lazy, just that I'm also computer illiterate. Partly cuz I'm lazy.

Gibby, thanks for those beautiful decorations. That is an amazingly beautiful man. I wouldn't mind doing the facebook. I'm planning on doing it because that CANN site said that it would help Clay to have more friends. I just haven't gotten around to it yet since I'm extremely computer illiterate. Canfly just recently showed me how to do Photobucket and Myspace. Spring break is coming so I may set it up then. Right now I'm working on mid-terms and trying to fight some nasty stomach flu that seems like it is never going to go away. I hate being sick so I'm extremely cranky right now. I never got into any of the reality shows and since I'm not even close to be domestic, any show that has to do with cooking or decorating is out. Most of the shows that I watch are probably crime related or have quirky characters. Love Monk, Criminal Intent (cuz I love Goren), Bones, etc. A lot of stuff on USA and FX. I watch way too much television. And I also think that Clay will tour for us this year. I think he's probably looking forward to it as much as we are. Hopefully I'll get to meet up with you guys for some of them. Now that I've driven to NYC by myself, I'm feeling much braver. Maybe I'll even try a plane the next time, although I may need sedatives to get me through it.

I agree with you Desertrose. I hate how E! will take even something positive and twist it to meet their agenda. I don't believe Clay was dropped. I think he'd probably finally had enough and he knew he had other options. Can't wait to find out what they are. He never fails to suprise and excite us. Now will somebody please go hunt down those pictures and burn them? Those from the Jenna Bush thing are some of the only ones of Clay that I have never liked. Love how DF said if Clay needs help though, and that his girlfriend has such great things to say about Clay as a dad and how cute Parker is. Sure hope we can see some pictures soon.

Crap, why do I have to work and do homework? I missed all the good stuff. Couchie, I was going to tell you I loved you after some of those earlier posts cuz you said everything I would have liked to have said, but better. However, now I may get accused of trying to kiss up to you so I can stay on the board. What to do, what to do? What I do know that I'll be doing, after I've had some sleep, is ordering that Clay Aiken cd. Has anybody here heard of him? I've heard he's pretty good. Cute too. And apparently he loves all of us stupid people.

Scarlett, Clay posted that he needed an answer to what date the Independent Tour ended and what ensued was a lot of speculation as to the meaning of his post. Was it just to get a question answered or was he trying to hint at something more. He mentioned about us being more accurate than Google at finding things. He sure wasn't talking about me there. Anyway, people were thinking he was either telling us that he would be independent soon or doing another Independent Tour or that it had something to do with Reed because of the St. Paul connection. Even that he was forming his own record label named Foster Aiken Records because he capitalized FAR. Feel free to add anything that I left out cuz I suck at details.

I enjoy reading the speculation too, except like you said djs, I don't enjoy when people start criticizing Clay for doing or not doing things that they think he should. Even if sometimes I may agree with what they are saying, they need to remember that not only do we not have all the information, but we also don't have the same priorities that Clay has. Plus, Clay is only human. He may know something might work better, but we all have our own personalities and histories that we work with, and just cuz we know something in our heads, doesn't mean we can always do it. For instance, I know I should exercise more and eat healthier, doesn't mean I'm gonna be able to do it.

I don't see what the problem is with people speculating. No one at the OFC seems to be overly invested in a certain scenario, they are just having fun, which may have been Clay's intent. Or maybe he could have been leaving a hint. He does seem to like to play with words and give hints when he can't speak directly. We just don't know but I don't understand why it should be a big deal if people are speculating. I have more problems with the ones over there, the same 2-3 people, who seem to be completely humorless and always want to put a damper on Clay and others having some fun. I still can't figure out what it is that they actually like about Clay because I can't ever remember them saying anything positive. And as far as RCA, they have done him no favors so if he has left, I think it should be party time. I may not think that they are the evil empire but I do think they are idiots who couldn't find their own way out of the boxes that they like to put people in. So sue me.
