Unfortunately over the years the attitude seems to have become that it is a right and not a priviledge to take Clack. We have been very lucky that Clay has turned a blind eye to it and sometimes encouraged it. Clack taking on Broadway is illegal and I can just imagine the headlines about Claymates and video taping, if they got caught. Also this show is not all about Clay despite what we think! There are a lot of other people to be considered. I am lucky enough to be able to go but if I'm honest I'm not sure what I would do if Clack became available through back channels.

I too spent the first part of my fandom being goofy, silly etc. and you know what I liked it so much I never quit! I do not care one iota what others think about me and my opinions! No-one is going to rain on my parade. I am probably the fangirliest fangirl that ever fangirled and I will not apologize for it. Clay Aiken brings me so much joy and I have met some wonderful people, that I never would have known otherwise. These people have become real friends whom I love very much! I have had some pretty hard knocks in the last few years and my fandom has been a lifeline! I have been told I'm too old to be doing this, I'm crazy and a lot of other not so nice things but I just ignore them and say a few choice things under my breath*g* No-one has to like everything I like but as long as they don't tell me what to like then we will get along fine. That's why I tend to scroll at other boards except this one 'cos every one here has their own opinion and it is respected. I really like it that you don't try to convert me to your way of thinking. Now if a certain person would stop posting the Snoflake pic the all would be well*G* The fandom was fun and still is fun and I hope always will be!

The thing about the glasses being so sexy is just imagining when and where you would slowly take then off! No whipping off here just nice and slow and real close! Oh boy, I need a cigarette ...oh wait I never smoked. Ok well how about a drink......no never drank either!

IMO I don't think it matters if you have anything in common with him or share his beliefs. I have never had any contact with social work, have an intense dislike for any kind of organized religion but I do have an appreciation for good classical music. I am loving this concert series. In fact it is turning out to be one of my all time favourites. It shows another facet and layer of a complex man. I said in a cellcert that it is the man, the music and the voice. I felt at K'zoo he was giving us a present of his voice! He is extremely vulnerable up there and is not afraid to let it show. Kind of....well here I am love me or leave me! I love him for it and I am not ever leaving especially if he continues to produce work like this. Oh and in case there is any doubt I also love, love, love the glasses!

I loved that ChaCha put Diva on YouTube but not happy that I am also in it! Yuck! Today was a good day I went to Walmart and as Clay was singing to me I found 7 MCWL CDs in a Christmas display and 4 copies of that Penny Press game book that has his puzzle in it. I have some extra if anyone wants one.

I am soo tired after this weekend and getting up at 3:00am CT to catch an early flight. Whose idea was that? Oh yeah! Scarlett's! I'm not doing any recap because I don't know what else I could possibly say that hasn't been said already. The most sublime, perfect, subtle, gentle, powerful, awe inspiring concert I have ever seen!!! Just when you think you have seen it all he goes and produces this gem! I love the glasses.....to me he is never sexier than when he is wearing them. To me taking off the glasses at a certain point in the evening just means one thing......well......oh now where was I. Oh yeah! Phew is it hot in here? Diva you give great parties! Cha Cha you are too cute for words and cindilu and muski and claygasm and luckiest and if i've forgotten anyone it's because right now I can't think of anything other than Clay taking his glasses off I'm only sorry I didn't get to meet all of you.

Happy Clay Birthday Day to one and all! First I have one very important thing to say about last night ......... He was cute perfection!!!! When I get back I will have to do a loooong post but last night was unbelievable! If you think the photos of him are great.........well in person he is so stunningly handsome it is unreal! The photos do not do him justice. After the show he came out wearing a white sweatshirt and looked just glorious up close...took my breath away. Waiting for my ride to K'Zoo and I am even more excited to see the show again. IMO He has more than achieved what he set out to do with this show. At one point he said he hoped it would bring back memories to us! Well one story was about English Xmas memories and I have to tell you I had to choke back tears listening to it. I have not spent Xmas in England in over 35 years and the memories just came flooding in! I know I am really fangirly....no really I am but I am in awe of this man's talent! He is just so good. After last night I really think he belongs up there with some of the greats! Something happened between Summer and now. His singing is phenomenal and he just looks different. Can't put my finger on it but it was almost a "that's Clay Aiken" moment. Well have to finish getting ready. Forgive typos as I'm typing from Perusing One's machine. She was hoping I'd log in as her and get her post count up to..oh lets say 3 *g*

I'm packed and today I'm "leaving on a jet plane" to see my gorgeous boyfriend! I cannot wait!!!! Here I am frantically d/l Clack to put in my iPod for the trip. You know how you need to take those essentials on a trip well my ClayiPod is one of my essentials now. How did I ever do without this stuff? Ah, the wonders of modern technology. I d/l the mp3 files transferred them to iTunes and now instantly I can have them with me! Ain't it grand? See a lot of you guys real soon. I'll be the one with the silly grin on my face cos I'm going to see CLAY!!!!! Did I tell you I love that guy? Oh I did? Well it bears repeating, don't ya think*g*
