Boy life is too short to be miserable! I just do not want to dwell in the pit that sometimes invades part of the Clay fandom! I DONT care about promotion...no promotion.....RCA...no RCA.....the evil that is Clive...all the other evils.......media releases...no media releases....how the is not treated fairly....add nauseum!!! I just want the pretty man to sing to me as only he can! I want to feel it in my bones! I want to hang around with some really good/cool people who also "get" it and too couldn't give a flying flip about "stuff". I love this board and the folks here because no-one continually goes on and on about stuff that is history. It may be mentioned and that is it!! Oh and I love the eHP too for the above reasons!!!!!!! Oh and since I am officially going to Waukegan, Kalamazoo and DC I can now eeeeeeeeeeeeeee to my hearts content!

Did you miss me? Ok DH went out of town again and I finally go to watch the Sedaka thing in full glory with good speakers! Well watch is not the right thing to say more like cannot get my eyes off of it! The guy is gorgeous, phenominal, fabulous, stunning, talented and any other superlative you can think of!!! But I am tellling you now...those cheekbones are mine!!!!!!!! OMG they're back and they are to die for. I am in lust with those cheekbones. Oh and I tried a HoneyCrisp and you know what it's an .......apple. I can't see any difference between that and oh say a Gala.

Tonight besides staring at MY banner,(eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)I have been just clicking in PS. I didn't know how to change he colour when you did an outer glow etc. and tonight just by clicking all over the place I found out how. Some of these manuals seem to assume you know where some things are! I just wish they were more clear for us novices. Since I can't use my computer at work any more I have been reading and highlighting the Adobe manual which is somewhat of a help. I have tried the burn and the fire techniques but I couldn't get them to work quite right ...and well I ran out of time*g* There is so much I want to try.....so little time!

Wheeeee! I got home from work and logged on the the FCA...like you do......and I did a double take!! My banner is up! I am so thrilled you cannot believe it! It's like it is Christmas or something! I never ever thought I could do something that would be good enough! Wow before Clay I did nothing but play Solitaire on my computer and now with the help of some great FCA'ers (Cha Cha and Ansa) and some easy freakingly complicated technical manuals, I have learned a new skill! Clay can have no idea how much of a difference he has made in the lives of so many people! How many of us have gone way out of our comfort zone in many different ways since Clay began enabling us? Oh and I hate the Dentist! When I was six I got knocked out with some kind of anesthetic and woke up with a mouthful of blood. They had taken out 6 teeth and didn't tell me! Then I had fillings done with no numbing! That's English dentistry for you.

On the website that you posted there are some links to Text Effects and Textures and that's where I found out how to do them. The instructions are really straight forward which I really like. It makes it so much better when you you can follow along and it appears almost the same as the picture. They have a burned paper one I want to try next. Now if I can just find a use for all this stuff I am learning*g*

Remember when you were a kid and the old folks would say "back in my day"? Well.........You don't know how lucky you young'uns have it! As long as the accent is done in the context of the play or show then it I think it would be fine. I really hope he does not try to practice it during his Xmas show! I'll just say that this person, who speaks with a Southern English accent, would just die (and not in a good way) if he did that. Cringe worthy! Just a pet peeve of mine and I'll say no more.
