  1. Penny, don't worry about it -- and you are MORE than welcome to play here! I appreciated you bringing that over, and thought it cute/funny. And clayzy, I wouldn't worry about it either. Love both of ya, you know? Did I mention that I loved his latest blog? I think that's totally awesome that he's happy with his management team -- and if he's happy, I'm happy. Ya'll knew I would say that, right? After a very long day at work yesterday (the workshop I was planning went well, even though I had not one but TWO presenters back out due to illness at the very last minute), drinks with two coworkers after work (which was GREAT), today I spend time with my Mom. Tomorrow I'm planning on doing NOTHING.
  2. Can't sleep...which is bad for me, because I've got a LONG day at work ahead of me tomorrow (or should I say, today). But, at the same time, good for me, because I could then read the blog now! I love him. I really do. I think that's great that he wants to celebrate a relationship that has worked well for him. And I think it is funny that he was right -- it had NOTHING to do with anything "we" thought it might.
  3. Not so fast couchie! The latest from Reed... Reed Kelly wrote at 5:15pm You know darn well I like to work up a sweat; those t-shirts are a necessity! ;0) PS The final count was 34, LOL.
  4. FromClaygary, I do too, and Clay's as well...especially with the new comments for this picture: Reed Kelly wrote at 2:54am Um, excuse me ... Mr. Frenchman ... would you take our picture? ... No, we are totally not tourists! (OK, so I brought a lot of clothes, shoot me.) Clay Aiken (Raleigh / Durham, NC) wrote at 7:23am Good LORD on the amount of bags you have with you! Reed Kelly wrote at 3:52pm HEY!! You're the one who told me which bags to bring, you can't say a word on that one!! Clay Aiken (Raleigh / Durham, NC) wrote at 4:02pm True, I chose the bags that you would use to pack the ENTIRE wardrobe that you insisted on taking! Clay Aiken (Raleigh / Durham, NC) wrote at 4:05pm I distinctly remember saying that I thought 30 t-shirts was more than you would need. But why listen to me.I've never been on a tour before! ;-)
  5. Bwah you are never alone. And Keepingfaith, I haven't signed up and don't have to for my project, YAY, but I hate CHAT -it bothers my eyes and I just can't deal with things scrolling so fast...and it seems like twitter is like that. soooooooooooooo I guess maybe I should do my taxes? luckiest, I think the name comes from "The Music Man." There were a set gossipy ladies in the town, and their song was "pick a little, talk a little, pick a little, talk a little, tweet tweet tweet, talk a lot, pick a little more." So, in a way, it IS a bit like birds, all gossiping away on their cell phones. couchie, Twitter totally depends on how much the people you "follow" up date their stuff via the phones. I think some people are constantly tweeting, while others (like me) have only done it a few times. For the most part, I don't see the point in it, except in situations like kf describes -- seeing something newsworthy. (Or someONE, like Clay!)
  6. Another Tweet from last night, via the CH: I pretty much agree with kf about all this. I'm not fond of the whole thing in a few ways, but also, I do believe it's here to stay, and that Clay realizes everything that happens with Twitter, Facebook, and the like. The whole idea of "privacy" has changed so very much with the advent of the internet and technology, and I'm not sure that we can ever go back. Congrats on the new job claylove!
  7. From the CH: Am I being a total hypocrite when I say that I'm just not fond of all this twitter stuff, and yet post the picture? Yep. I just like seeing him out and about though. Tyra last night, Diane tonight. Good for him.
  8. I'm sending good puppy vibes to you and Jack, 00lsee. But my kitties? They look a little devious myself, so hopefully my good puppy vibes will overtake whatever they are thinking....
  9. Email from Aron Hall regarding the COC Benefit: Just a quick note to say: Individual ticket sales start June 30. Niiiiiiiiice banner.
  10. I usually go to church on Easter, but since we were on the road...I'm REALLY a heathen this day. And then dinner...chicken salad sandwiches! Hee. Glad to see Scarlett checking in!
  11. Happy Easter everyone! Time for hubby and I to hit the road for home!
  12. Gosh, we have such a fun boyfriend, don't we? I'm glad he had a good time at "9 to 5" (with Reed, I believe), got to tell us how much of a fanboy he is toward Allison Janney, and just love him teasing us about this whole April 16 thing. I'm totally keeping my expectations in check regarding that date. The way my week is shaping up at work, I'll probably forget all about the significance of April 16, whatever it might be.
  13. Wouldn't it just throw everyone for a loop if he went to some small club in either NYC or Raleigh that night, and gave an impromptu? Well, it's the only way I'll win the pool. *g*
  14. Greetings from Madison, Wisconsin! My husband and I are away for the weekend, just to get away from it all. It feels pretty nice. Love that new picture of the group. He looks happy, the girls look happy...I'm happy. I work with someone who pronounces is "Gar-sha." I don't understand it either. clayzy, I saw your facebook thing too! jmh, I agree with you on the "vocal" people. It can be hard to turn them off, but ignoring seems to work. Have a good day everyone!
  15. AOL includes the Clay appearance in their Top 5 voting for yesterday: This is one I usually vote for!
  16. lilyshine, the only one I can speak about is Amazing Race, and honestly, that one is a bit hard to judge. I do know that they give each team a 12 hour mandatory rest period, but the rest of their racing totally depends on where they are going and how long it takes to get to each spot, not to mention how long it takes a team to do the challenges. My guess is that each leg takes about 36 hours or so. I believe I've read that the entire show is filmed over about 5-6 weeks, and with 14 teams...sorry, it's too early in the morning to do the math. Survivor always gives the days on the island, if I remember correctly, so I think they do tribal councils every 3 days. That would be my guess for shows such as ANTM too. (You gotta give some time for everyone to go back to the house/camp and bitch at each other!)
  17. Of course, I loved Clay last night on the show. I thought he did his criticisms quite well, and I think he looked marvelous. And, sad life that I have, I'm kind of interested in the show now. I agree with claytonic, if you look at it as an OTT comedy, I think it works. LOL! I won't make a habit to tape it, but I can see trying to get it on the computer once in a while, at least with this set of contestants. I thought Celia was fascinating. Fear, I've read of other people that have given up their TVs and now only use their computers. There's still shows out there you can't get for free (AI being one of them), but there's so much out there, even sports. Another change is coming, my friends. And congrats on the new job!

  19. OK, I'm happy. We got a patented Clay Aiken belly laugh. L.O.V.E.
  20. That was funny! I think he did pretty well against most of the girls. Now, I'm not familiar with the girls, but I do think the girl that won should have won. He was adorable and CUTE. Do I have to say any more?
  21. EEEEEEEEEEEE! The show is on! "You will molded into a piece of Clay!" Ha ha! That was the announcement of the challenge. But we're 11 minutes into the show, and no Clay yet....

  23. I received my new TV Guide today, and there was a blurb about the finale of Scrubs. Supposedly, there will be a wedding between the two main characters, possibly as a fantasy sequence. Now, there has been speculation that they are bringing back lots of old characters in the final episode. My thought? Could Kenny come back to sing for the wedding? Just a thought. Maybe it's just me, who would love to see Clay (as Kenny) back on the show again.
