  2. You guys are cracking me up! Poor CG, I can imagine your frustration....and then the lightbulb went off after more than a few helpful souls here were able to help. I love you all FCA women! LOL! And I find another Icanhascheezburger fan! Nom nom nom. No freakin' kidding. This would be my dream come true. What a killer laugh. *sigh* How sad for the Simply Clay board. How very sad. I hope that luckiest1, cindilu2, crimsonice and anyone else I could be forgetting who are traveling tomorrow to Spamalot have a wonderful trip, and a great show! Has anyone heard from jmh lately? Off to watch the security guard...missed that. Hee.
  3. I have the Newsweek article in electronic format (a perk of being a librarian). If anyone needs it, PM me with your email address and I'll send it to you.
  4. wandacleo, safe travels today! EEEEEEEEEEEEEE! *cleans glasses that cindilu just handed to CG and hands them back to her again* CG, it took me a while to see it too, but after much careful study, I did see it. Now I'm back to studying again...hee. 5. Welcome gloch! Hope you enjoy it here....settle down and get comfortable for a spell.... Oooo KAndre, you are evil. How could I forget Scrubs? And to think he's now doing a regular acting gig on Broadway! Also, how could I forget that Ken Jenkins thing? That was amazing to hear that description from him...."what a kid." Yeah, I noticed that too -- he was so focused on his autograph signing that he was like "ho hum, someone pinched me in the butt." Hee. Actually, I think it's kind of that "family" thing that he's mentioned more than a few times. Although I hope no one in my family pinches me in the butt. *g*
  6. I kind of like the composition of this one, via tugger at CV. Very "superstar" with all the flashes...
  7. She's 33, according to that Broadway.com interview from the other day. Just sayin'. But Mom -- you're not letting us have any fun!!!!!! [/whine, and also /jk] Welcome to the world of "Clay Aiken -- Dichotomy."
  8. *tosses the Clyra in the trash* *waits for first installment of the Clannah*
  9. And I am definitely his steel, that's for sure.... Welcome calclay! I love Hannah.
  10. Ghost post from Ansa (who is having the same problems luckiest1 is having on her work computer): She misses everyone on FCA, and she's loving all the favorite clips! ___ OK, I'm cheating. I'm going to add another clip. As many of you know, I'm mostly a "love that funny guy Clay" person. His humor gets me every.single.time. So, most of my favorite clips involve some sort of banter and/or cuteness by Clay. However.... There was one performance one night that brought me to tears. Ironic really, because I wasn't at the show, I've only seen the clack. I rewatched it again today, and it still brought tears to my eyes. It's from the JNT 2005, in Atlanta. This was the day that they found out Gregory was sick, and they had to scramble to get another kid to do the show. Whenever things like this happen during a tour for Clay, he seems to put on an extra special performance, and this one, IMO, is killer. Scarlett, I hope you don't mind that I uploaded this clip to YouTube. Removing link until I can get it to work properly Crap! It uploaded just fine, and now it's not working! I'll keep an eye out for it being available again....
  11. wandacleo reminded me that I need to go SHOPPING at some point to get a new outfit for Spamalot. Gotta look good for boyfriend! (And for some reason, my husband ALWAYS notices that I buy new clothes when I see Clay. Hmmm....) Those were both fun to watch. Don't even remember the hula hoop one. You have some surprising favorites. I try to picture "favorites" that no one else even thinks of. In the case of the hula hoop one, I'm sure I have fond memories of it because of the excitement for that day. It was the first time we were going to be hearing songs from the new album on our teevee, and the ClayNation has a whole was just pumped. Then, he did that surprise little commercial, and my heart skipped a beat. As for the Baltimore Christmas clip -- I just simply love the way he knows a portion of his fandom. He almost takes a "preacher" tone for some of the descriptions, and I found that hysterical. I also think this is a good clip to laugh at ourselves too. I did love that one too -- one of the few times I think Clay was truly speechless. I seriously considered saying this as well. That whole interview was so magical. He looked hawt, he was charming, he was funny, he was flirty, and he was smart. Sang good too. Amazing day. I still haven't deleted this off my DVR, after a year and a half. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE for the people seeing Spamalot today -- laljeterfan, CG and jmh123 (a Spamalot virgin!). I hope all three of you enjoy yourselves like crazy! ETA: Got my fanclub stuff today! I love the tote bag -- it's really nice!
  12. For skybar: I think that would be my third choice as well. It was chilling to be there. luckiest, I loved the St. Louis air drums clip so damn much too. I need to find that!
  13. For laughn: Brianna (age Four) singing Without You with Clay in Raleigh For the Canadians: Preorder the new album from Amazon
  14. I don't have my three clips picked, basically two of the three aren't in YouTube yet. But....I can link to this one. It's an early one, and I don't know why exactly, but that "ooops" he did is just so freakin' cute to me. Hula Hoops anyone? OK, I found the second one. This is Banter from the 2006 Christmas show in Baltimore. Again, I don't know why, but this whole exchange just cracks my s**t up. So much so, that if you look at my location here, you'll see that I still think about one line he does there a lot!
  15. Yikes! Glad you made it safe, though.... Oh good Lord, I honestly didn't even make a connection to Clay on that. Swear on a stack of Clay Rolling Stone magazines. Yeah, let's do it! We can cab that, right? Hee! I just did that the other day myself. Well, heck a row C popped up for me, and I couldn't resist that, could I? New thread title poll at the top of the page. Please vote!
  16. I wish this place was closer to the Shubert, because I think it would be perfect (CG, are you a vegetarian that avoids dairy too?). I've seen it on the Food Network, and thought that it sounded like a fantastic place to eat! S'MAC
  17. Easiest answer to the question: Clay says it himself. A lot. Anytime someone says to him "you can dance," he says "no way." I honestly think he'll never change with that either. Personally, I'm with luckiest in that I think he moves pretty well, and I think with training (such as what he's getting via Spamalot), he'll get better. But I sincerely think he'll NEVER EVER fully admit to "being a dancer," or even "I can kinda sorta dance on occasion." I think much of that is his way of playing down things -- his self-deprecating humor.
  18. Thanks for doing that 00lsee. I also pulled out a few this morning too: keepingfaith: Newsday review: Associated Press review:
  19. LdyJ, you are welcome to take it if you want it as I remain in your debt -- long, long time. I'm sure I can find another picture JUST AS CUTE! He has a tendency to photograph CUTE !!! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Nah, I'm fine with you having it....as long as you try to post once a page, so I can stare at it. *g* Besides, I like my "cute Clay trying to sign almost-as-cute-as-Clay Tom" avi. You know, I was thinking the same thing. I think for me it's just I'm finally used to it. Oh yeah. That smile. He simply lights up when he smiles, and that makes me just smile as well. Does this mean he's changing record labels?
  20. luckiest, the March 30 for playbiller should be the 7:00 show. I should know, because I'm going to go with her on that one (even though I don't have tickets yet...) She is then being a sweetheart and letting me stay overnight with her. I get to meet the puppy!
  21. I'm bummed that I'm going to miss Chris S. too. I've heard so much about the good camaraderie (sp?) between him and Clay on stage. *sigh* Thank you kf for bringing that picture over! Good Lord, is that man cute. And his smile lights up a thousand Broadways. But damn kf for stealing that picture as an avi. I still love you! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Oh well, I just changed mine a few days ago anyway... CG, sorry to hear about the crappy weather forecast. But I'm sure Clay will still be cute, and that's got to count for something, right?
  22. Can someone PLEEEEESE find the original of that picture for me? I NEEEEEEEEEEEED it badly. Used to bowl in a league, about 6 years ago. I think my average was 145. Camethisclose to a 200 game one time. I think I choked too. *g* Now, I just bowl with the Wii. Love that. Wii's are the best video game systems ever.
  23. American Idol Extra This is on the Fox Reality Channel (cable). I wonder when this episode with Clay will be on; the website doesn't suggest anything at the moment.
