  1. claylove... I don't think you were clear enough on how you really feel... I was telling someone the other day, that I don't watch tv news anymore cause after being a Clay fan for 6 years, I know how much the truth is twisted and slanted, even by the best of them. I was very sad today to goggle Clay this morning and see that his foundation has rejected him... yeah, right. Naturally, I didn't click on the link, but felt so sad that Clay's wish to announce it himself has been foiled by those who make it their life work to destroy instead of build. keeping... Beautifully said and I so agree! I study metaphysics and have often marveled at how evolved Clay is at such a young age. Some have said he is an old soul and I totally believe that. I have learned so much from him and his journey. and...
  2. kimiye... have a great trip! merrieeee.... thanks for bringing that over. It was great entertainment during my lunch hour! I may just go back and start from the beginning of the season. I didn't watch a minute of it this year, but this site makes it fun.
  3. treenuts... I love this explanation of why you love Clay. Sounds logical to me! jmh... again, thank Rocky's mom. I love all of these! keeping... you could talk about it here! LOL What your DIL doesn't know won't hurt you!
  4. aikim... thanks for the Sunny good moring! Love it! KAndre... Keeping... interesting articles. Thanks! Clay can actually sing... what a concept. luckiest... I have been so busy, that I barely have time to come here, much less anywhere else. Not even going to ask what they are all het up about now... just staying here and loving Clay... ya' know, that guy who is gorgeous and has a gorgeous voice and is very funny... that guy!
  5. The Carolina blog has been receiving steady hits from A Guy Named Brian. I followed the connecting link back from one of these many unexpected visitors. Brian linked to my blog with this line: "His response is articulate, nuanced, and thoughtful." I just checked the man's profile, and he is an editor in the communications/media field. Excellent blog! And, Scarlett, Clay's name is in the blog's headline and is the first technorati tag. Repeating ... awesome banner, cindilu2! Have a great day, all! Caro Caro... thanks for the link! cindi... I adore that graphic you did of the UNICEF stuff that goes into a color version one pic at a time. AWESOME!!! smitten... :thbighug-1: Congrats on the apartement, the new neice and the 21 pounds less of you. At least you got your feet in the dating pool. Hope the next one is better! Hope you can visit more often! jmh... those ^^^ are absolutely adorable! Thank Rocky's mom for me, please! I love both of them, but that sun one made me smile big time! aikim... wanna adopt the sun one for your countdown???
  6. luckiest... When I google Clay Aiken, the only blog that features the Prop 8 statement is PH's and I ain't going there. Yuck! treenuts.... this list is great... thanks for bringing it over! cindi... I LOVE the banner... and not just because you used my FAVORITE thread title of all time! It's beautious!!!
  7. wanda... thanks for bringing this over. I'm still getting educated on gay rights. I watched that segment and didn't even notice what music was playing, before, during or after. I just saw two men dancing a sexy dance together and just thought it was a step forward for them to even show it. Hopefully, I'm not the only one who thought that way.
  8. Do you have a link? I can't seem to find that one. 00lsee... As posted, it was Greensboro. Treenuts brought the condensed version from Chardonnay, but here it the link to the long version. There are the two labeled "mic popping" and the one labeled with "Alison" in the titles that I think are the best. Very funny... course the man was by turns hysterical and heartbreaking (Long Island) on the '06 tour and I loved every piece of clack we got on that tour. Clay at his snarky best! JNat06 Greensboro_Spooky The only thing I didn't like about that night was his haircut... His hair was so beautiful the night before in Charlotte, then he let Jamie near him with the scissors and boo hoo!
  9. treenuts... I loved that youtube and then went to the Raleigh one where the mic popped during and made the songs hilarious. The man was blushing! Kareneh... thanks for the pictures! Yum! Perma... thanks for taking a cleaning break... FromClaygary... that's a very nice bio! What do the "—"s mean???
  10. He said he didn't like the blonde hair and will most likely never be that blonde again... so, in memorium... the blonde hair (and the loverly guy under it)...
  11. I love Clay Aiken I saved that Prop 8 answer to email to a couple of friends. He is soooo smart! Perma... don't worry about being here in an earthquake... I don't have any crystals over any doorways or in the middle of any rooms, so you're safe... honest...
  12. jumpingjacks.... BWAH!!! Glad you got to the party! That TMZ headline was WTH for sure! Neither Adam or Clay are Nobodies. Geesh! This, too, shall pass. Deep breath!
  13. KAndre.... BWAH!!! PERFECT response! I salute you! clayzedover... Glad to see you posting and glad you got to vote! 00lsee... and jumpingjacks..., It's only 10:09pm here in SoCal, so I made it. Couldn't get on the computer all day! Merrieeee.... I so agreed with your rant a few pages back! And, I do think some are using this as an excuse cause they couldn't let themselves see themselves as mad as heck at him or leaving him cause he was gay. This gave them an excuse and as KAndre so wonderfully said... Bless their little hearts! Treenuts... I also agree with you that many of the above referenced folk are in denial about why they are so mad at him. When I first heard the news that Clay had come out, I was kinda angry for about 2/3rds of that day. I thought that I was mad cause of defending him to people who put him down for being gay and put me down for being his fan. And, there was a bit of that there, but I also figured out that I also did have a bit of uncomfortableness about his being gay. I really looked at that and decided I didn't like that at all and worked at letting it go. I was very happy with how unrestrainedly I was behind the whole Clay/Reed thing. Everytime I see a picture of them together I have the biggest grin in the world. When I even think of them I get schmoopie. I grew... thank you, Clay! The biggest thing we are here on this earth to do is to love. ANY two people loving each other is beautiful, plain and simple! I know I'm preaching to the choir, but just wanted to say it anyway. FCA... LOVE YA'
  14. I thought he wore boxers.... ldyj... BWAH! aikim... Thanks... I hope they let him eat in peace.
  15. I used to get my sage and sweetgrass in Houston at Lucia's Garden, a shop that sells oils, stones, herbs, chimes, fountains, medicine bags and healing books. It's just a few blocks from KAndre's place. Now I get it at Eagle Dancer, a Native American shop just a mile or so from my house. They have sage, cedar, sweetgrass, soaps, baskets, paintings and jewelry. I love to mix sage and cedar. As my Cherokee friend taught me, the sweetgrass invites the spirits in, and the sage runs out any negative spirits that may have sneaked in with the smoke from the sweetgrass. With the day I've had so far, I need to pat myself down right now and take a good personal smudging. Started the day by tossing coffee grounds on the floor, in the semi-dark, where the trash was supposed to be -- and then I ground up a shotglass in the garbage disposal about five minutes later. Obviously, the negative word for today is ..... ground(s). Today is my youngest son's birthday (hence he took a shot of Patron at midnight which somehow caused the shotglass to end up IN the garbage disposal). For his birthday this evening, we were going to grill burgers as a prelude to the fabulous raspberry walnut cheesecake, but since burgers would involve ground meat I may need a Plan B. keeping... a kindred spirit! All those hints... you must need to ground yourself... go hug a tree! Karen... I know metaphysics is active in that part of the world, so there must be places to buy the stuff. Look up crystals in whatever you look stuff up in. That might be a portal. Poor Clay... tired of the rain. June gloom has descended on us early this year. I always feel sorry for anyone who comes to SoCal to vacation in June. The sun doesn't come out until after lunchtime and the beach is cold. However, it is very nice from 2pm till dark...
  16. Kareneh... no, it is dried sage tied in a bundle, which is why you usually find it in a metaphysical bookstore. Sometimes healthfood stores carry it. You set it on fire, but blow the fire out so it is just smoking. You put a pie tin or something under it what will catch any ashes and wave the smoke into each corner of each room, including closets, etc. It smells great and chases any negatively away. Has been used that way by many peoples. There are other herbs that can be used besides sage, but that's the most commonly used one. Clayzycoffin... Duh! Ministry of Sound anyone? Techno is soo yesterday! I have not seen AL more than once, didn't like his style and all I seem to read about him now makes him come off a a little arrogant. Am I missreading this? merrieeee.... isn't that what others have been saying about Adam for awhile now???? Especially one particular other...
  17. Hey! The same could be said for my driveway.... Kareneh... the new house is gorgeous... I hope you can make it comfortable to be there. If you can find a bundle of sage at a metaphysical bookstore (which I know they have over there), smudging chases out negative energy and will lift the resonance of the house and make it yours. I know whereof I speak... Honest!!! treenuts... Had a verra verra niiiice dinner with Permaswooned tonight. Great fun, as usual!!! Heard how she got to reshelve a LOT of books after our last quake and how a bus/train to Fresno only cost $27 and change and how great Clay was in Vegas!!!
  18. merrieeee.... to the picture. Thread Title??? to the bolded sentence. Penny... was there a special reason you left yourself open like that??? Masochistic tendencies??? BANG!!! muski... try having your oldest turn 40... I figured that she might be 40, but there is no way I'm old enough to have a 40-yr old DD... Wonder whose she is??? Seriously, they grow so fast! My DGS graduates HS in June.
  19. That story just made my day! She's right... not everybody would have stopped, most especially someone who knew he might be recognized. He is a good man and being in the business he's in for 6 years has not slapped it out of him. But... but... how can he be back from Paris already??? Is 4 days over already??? Well, if it's not true, it's a very nice lie! Various and sundry Clays... S.W.O.O.N!!!
  20. The player being trashed on the message board is a 16 yr old highschool student btw. jamar.... thanks for bringing this. Wow. People are trashing a 16 yr old. That is just sad. He's pretty smart, tho, and will survive it. To know that some people just get their jolly's by spewing vitriol anywhere they can. canfly... thanks for the pictures! I didn't know what your name meant either. Kewl!!! Caro... thanks for the link. That was a mighty fine day. I loved all three songs Clay sang and play them every July 4th. It was neat to watch again. He sings good! And, I didn't know that about John Steele. I watched the movie, of course, many many many years ago. Just because it's pretty...
  21. FromClaygary... well... what about the curiousity of us non-Canadians. Who the heck is Robert Picton and why might you never sleep again??? Inquiring minds want to know...
  22. Susan Boyle's Memory from Cats performance on YouTube. She faltered a bit in a couple of places and the whole performance wasn't as strong, but I still got shivers when she really belted it out about the middle of the song (2:23 in). She looks very nice with her darker hair and a bit more makeup. She won into the next round. ldyj.... thanks for bringing that over. I have met Michael and he has been very good at being Clay's friend. Even when being quizzed about Clay, he revealed nothing we didn't already know. Clay has loyal friends.
  23. ETA: bottle... just what I was thinking of. THANKS!!! 00lsee... this one makes me laugh. I love it, too... THANKS!!! Couchie... or whoever does this. Can we add these two emoties to our lineup? :crystal: and :crytalball: maybe???? Thanks! Oh, cool!!!!!! Um, wait, you just mean news................ djs... BWAH!!! treenuts... GREAT title! I'd buy 10 copies, too!
  24. tribeca... such a touching story! You did what you could in the constraints you were working in. I think you definitely get major points for that one and if Clay ever does read that, I'm sure it will touch his heart, too. I would recommend you email that story to Aaron at BAF. I'll bet they could use it on their website as another reason for inclusion. I want my own emotie... I think it should be a smiley looking into a crystal ball, since I live surrounded by crystals and teach about them at the local JC. I'm afraid to go to one of those smiley sites, I got a virus from one onct and have never gone again. If anyone sees one like that, could you steal it for me??? Clay's apology is getting a little play, I see by the headlines when I pulled up my internet provider today. Good!
  25. Perma... this is my fave... something about the eyes. I could stare all day! Hope your DD is doing well! Can't wait to hear stories of your adventures. Sorry work is a bear. I'm in that bucket, too. Going from a 3-person office to a 2-person office, when the second person has been there only 2 weeks, makes for a mess of work for sure. Relax and play with Clay... your pictures of him, dang it. He's playing with Reed in Paris... IIT. Gibby... that sounds like a wonderful solution. Away, yet not too far! Kewl!
