Not to belabor a point...but for him to sing RHW to those of who are still here made no sense to me...why would he be waiting for us when we are still fans? That is why for me, it makes sense that the song was for those who are still struggling or may have walked away. I tend to be rather logical in my thinking...not so much in the abstract. Good Morning Everyone, Regarding "Right Here Waiting"...it may have been for all of us who are still here, but I also believe it was for those who have left and those who are still struggling. The man feels very deeply and I do believe his heart is breaking over the hurt he has caused, intentional or not, the disappointment that he can't or couldn't be what some need him to be...he loves all his fans and his arms and heart will always been open and waiting for those working their way back...I hope many more do. Just watched the YWSOB banter clack before he began singing (Toni's clack) and I do believe he was talking to our own Karen Eh; lucky girl...and he is too funny! Kim

I have to be honest and say that I was having a really hard time yesterday with the Gala...jealousy was rearing its ugly head and I wasn't sure I was even going to listen to the cellcert; but you know, resistance is futile and once I heard that voice all was right with the world. Whether there in person or not, we were all together and that is the important thing. I know it has been said before, but I didn't realize how much I missed hearing him sing live until last night. I am so ready for a tour! Kim

Just wanted to apologize for being lax on the recaps later in the night; I started listening to the cellstream when the auction started and then got a phone call...so I wasn't able to type...everyone was so excited, there wasn't much red being posted anyway! Then when he started singing; well...I was too busy bopping and thudding in my chair. EIDN is my favorite song on the CD and I was so thrilled to hear him sing it! This new recording device CV has...Oki...is amazing! It was like he sitting in my living room singing to me! That "Well Now" just about had me on the floor! Right Here Waiting was sublime! Not only was it for us, but it was for all the fans who are still struggling, maybe have left or are thinking of leaving...this song needs to be seen and heard! Making waffles for breakfast so I need to go check on them! Kim

From Gareem at CV: SmartyPantsSuz just called. Not a great connection, but I think she said she's in the third row of tables, directly behind Clay, dead center in front of the podium. Prime place for picture taking. She has already taken 3 or 4 good pictures. He took off his jacket and bent over. The shirt is very light (she thought white, but probably lavender like others said). Having a fabulous time. Hi to everybody. She'll check in later.

From Canuck at CV: Just got a call from toni7babe The festivities in the ballroom have begun. Clay entered between Jamie and Jaymes. They are sitting at a table two away from toni. Jamie looked adorable in a blace strapless gown. She couldn't tell what Jaymes was wearing from where she was sitting but she looked great. Clay looked wonderful. Jerry Aiken started off with a welcome and a video and then Linda Loveland talked about the theme "Welcome to our world". toni got a bit of Jerry Aiken's speech with Clay sitting at the table. At Clay's table there are: Clay, Jaymes, Jamie, Sean's "Ben", the guitar players, Jerome, Linda Loveland and Jerome. The lighting is terrible and she doesn't know if she'll get any good pictures. The table with the auction items is right behind toni and she's right in front of the podium so excited about that. That's it for now. No problem ldyj; and your welcome! Kim

Clay is eating now - Jaymes is sitting next to him - Claysfayevorite is calling me back shortly to talk on the stream. Possible news - Clay is dropping Because you Love Me because it's used on the video - and doing something just him and a piano - this from one of the musicians.

I just got a call from Rhustress. She is sitting at Table 5, in the front row, dead center - she said she is about 5' from the microphone on stage!!! Linda Loveland and some of the honorees are right next to them at Table 6. There is a piano, drums and some guitars on the stage. The program lists the band as Ben Cohen, Wes Hutchinson and Rich Mercurio. She said Clay looked GORGEOUS during the Meet & Greet - she is wearing purple too so she and Clay were color-coordinated for their picture! ETA: post from CV...not sure who the original poster is. From GBB at the CH Just got off the phone again with Pink & Ficus with their photo report. Clay came over to their group and said hello to several of them by name. He told Pink she writes funny stories. Ficus asked if he remembered her. He said "Of course! Not all good, but I remember you." (I told her that was proof he was telling the truth. *g*) He said her hair was shorter than it was before and he liked it (she'd just gotten it done today - he's good). He stood directly behind Julia for the photo and then told her her hair was too high. She squatted down a little and then decided he was kidding and stood back up straight. He said, "get back down!" and down she went. Clay looks "incredible!" and very relaxed, very happy. There is someone who will be getting Clack tonight. No ids (and not anyone I talked to) so we should be good -- and their places at CH should be safe. eta - they report that Jaymes is there now

Toni, mercedes, carol, and wink 3 tables down from center in the front row (yay for pictures. Linda loveland sitting one table over from toni, so they dont know if he will be at that table or not.

Wink says she was shielding her eyes so she was just looking at his pant uhuh and his shoes. He looks so happy Someone has the hots for Uncle Jerry ETA: All my reports are from CV toni back on - Linda Loveland in the bathroom with them looking fabulous! Clay looking wonderful, relaxed and happy - according to Wink.

Jaymes was spotted earlier in the hotel in jeans and a hoodie...no current sightings yet! Kim

Report from Toni: when they were taking the picture Clay kept joking "dont look at me, dont look at me look at the photographer." someone was covering their eyes and clay says "your trying so hard not to look at me, Im gonna stand by you" ran his hand down the length of toni's back (I missed why haha)
