I really don't think it is all that unusual anymore for women in their late 40's or early 50's to be having babies...seems there are quite a few celebrity Mom's who are older...fact is science has made it possible for this to happen. My mother was 18 years older than her brother; my grandmother was 42 when she had him; my mother was married at 19, so by the time my older sister and I came along (11 months apart), we had an Uncle who was 2-3 years old. We basically all grew up together. I actually don't think the problem with Jaymes having a baby is her age as much as it is Clay's baby...anybody else's baby and it wouldn't matter. Plus I think there are fans who just plain dislike Jaymes and want her as far away from Clay as possible. Kim

I've already noticed that there are some fans who are worried that Clay's "virgin ears" may be singed at the Friar's Roast for Matt Lauer...not surprising...there are some fans who just refuse to accept that Clay is a grown man and not a 10 year-old that needs to be protected. It just annoys the heck out of me; I know Clay had this squeeky clean image coming off of AI, but In the 5 years since he has grown out of that and has been pretty clear that he can be bawdy and sexy and is not that sheltered boy from NC anymore...if he ever was. Oh, I figured that and didn't really expect the Cubs to make it down to Houston for the games; there was talk about them playing today down there, but I didn't expect that to happen. I don't know how many more home games Houston has, but I feel bad for them not being able to play in their own park. Kim

Just found out the Cubs/Houston series has been moved to Milwaukee! They will play tonight at 7:00 and 1:00 tomorrow. A little unfair to Houston, since Cubs will still probably have home field advantage...the stadium in Milwaukee is always referred to as "Wrigley Field North"; and I doubt there will be many Houston fans there. I hope there wasn't too much damage to Minute Maid Park in Houston and they will be able to play on their own field soon! Kim

That particular episode just fascinates me...I remember watching it that night and when it was over being in complete shock and not in a good way...I didn't like any of the performances, could not believe they put him in the Vincident suit after that wonderful suit he wore for TLS; I thought Mack The Knife was cheesy and hated the arrangement of Unchained Melody. Then I found downloads of the show on the Clayboard...I remember downloading like crazy and I think I watched his season 2 performances every day for like a year and suddenly, I didn't hate that episode so much. Vincent was really good despite the fugly suit. Mack The Knife was not as cheesy as I first thought and even though I still don't like the arrangement of Unchained Melody, he made it work. Seems like that happens with a lot of Clay performances..the ones I initially don't like or am not sure of, I have to watch a few times...I think I am always so nervous for him that I can't enjoy the performances on first watch and have to re-watch. And I usually come away thinking again how good he really is. Kim

This is interesting! I am reading a biography of Angela Lansbury; I am on section that deals with her playing the role of Mame on Broadway...it is fascinating to read about how a play comes together, the rehearsals, etc....but this quote really struck me especially with all the discussion of the "picture": "In the theater," Angela says, "There are times when you are really thrown to people by the proximity of your work, by the camaraderie and the feeling of family. So backstage romances are the most natural thing in the world. I really don't know anybody it didn't happen to" Kim

Back from shopping; bought two pairs of earrings and two different lipsticks...more decisions for the wedding! I think this week I will have to experiment with my make-up to see how it will all come together. I normally don't wear anything but moisturizer, powder and lipstick, so this will be interesting for me. I really am glad that everyone is getting so much fun out of the picture; I think Hannah and Clay are very good friends. Kim

Which computer did you use to write to the floppy disk? I'm a bit confused about the "when I put the disk into my computer it says it cannot read the disk" part. If we are talking about 2 computers, what happens when you put the disk back into the one that wrote it? Were there no error messages at all? How much work went into that file you saved? I only have one computer; the file is just the start of a an inventory of my hubby's 45's...I typed it on the computer; than saved to floppy disc. When I then went to "My Computer"; clicked on "floppy A Disc..it opened it and showed that the file was there, but then when I clicked on the file to open it, it said "cannot read file, make sure you have disc in the drive you selected". I only have one A drive on my computer. It won't take me long to start over; just frustrating. Thanks for all the suggestions. I have a very old computer and I am not very tech savvy. Tech Help Needed! My hubby has a large record collection and I started tonight making a list...I saved the list to a floppy disc, but when I put the disc into my computer it says it cannot read the disc and will not open it. Any ideas on how I can retrieve the information...I am going to be really pissed if I have to retype everything. Don't know why it saved it but cannot read it. Help! Kim

I won't be doing any partyng; the mom's were not invited...so I will be anxiously waiting to talk to my youngest daughter to see how it all went. I love the Ad! Kim

Congrats RIFAN! I already have an autographed picture so I didn't enter...yep, I am still waiting for a Meet and Greet too! Happy Birthday Ausdon! Bowling went pretty well last night; I bowled my usual average, 130. It was nice seeing everyone again and catching up...but, dang, the summer sure went by fast. Haven't commented on the Hannah/Clay picture...knowing that Clay is with Jaymes and the baby in NC, it is just a little squicky to me to be shipping him with Hannah...probably the Lone Ranger on this one.
