So much for staying in bed...had to go to the grocery store. Doesn't matter that I feel like crap and look like crap, the family has to eat so off I went in my ratty old sweats; looking like death warmed over and of course I run into a neighbor who has to yak my ear off...even after I told her I had a tooth pulled and was not feeling all that great. So now I am home; the couch is looking mighty comfy and I bought soup; so I think I will heat some up and just relax. Kim

Good Morning Everyone, Been up since 3:00 a.m....the cat actually woke me up to be fed and was not able to get back to sleep until around 5:00 a.m. Mouth was throbbing a bit and my lips are all chapped; so took some motrin and lathered my lips with vasaline...I look a sight! Just up from a nap...the novacaine has worn off...but so far not much pain...just achiness. Still have my cold pack handy. Boobgate...the height of hypocrisy in the fandom...I actually made an observation at the time that the ones who were offended the most, were the same people who were posting waldo pictures and smutting big time. Same thing happened when Clay was on Miss America...I remember a whole discussion about how sexist it was and when I pointed out that it wasn't much more sexist than how we treated Clay...boy, I got jumped all over and told in so many ways that it wasn't alike at all. Still can't figure out how some thought it was wrong for their hubbies to ogle the Miss America contestants in their swimsuits but it was okay for them to sit on the computer and smut and ogle Clay's crotch. I really hate hypocrisy. Kim

Back from the oral surgeon; it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I opted for novacaine rather than general anathesia and I am glad I did. I am still numb and sitting here eating some applesauce. Already popped three motrin; they said to take them before the novacaine wore off. So, not feel too bad right now...actually the corner of my mouth is sore from them having to stretch it to get into my mouth...I have a very small mouth and it is very difficult to get instruments back there, so they had to take the tooth out in pieces. Bad news is they took x-rays and discovered an impacted wisdom tooth that may have to come out at some point. But at least now, I know what to look forward to. Going to finish my applesauce and get a cold pack for my face. Kim

Fortunately, this isn't a wisdom tooth; just a regular old molar. I never got my wisdom teeth; last time dentist took x-rays he showed me where they were under the gum...they just never came in. I learned a long time ago not to send hubby grocery shopping...I sent him once with a list and had asked for pork chops...he comes home with a package of 2...we have 6 people in our family. When I asked him why he only bought 2 he said because I didn't tell him how many to get. Now, is it really that hard to figure out...6 people...6 chops? Well, I bit the bullet and called the oral surgeon...I have an appointment for Friday morning at 10:00. Actually works out well because Friday is my day off of work and we are off Monday for Columbus Day so I will have a long week-end to recuperate. So I tell my husband since he will have to drive me there and back and what is the first thing he says to me? Will I be able to go grocery shopping on Friday (I go every Friday)! :gen069: Um...no...may have to wait until Sunday or Monday. Not looking forward to this but it needs to be done. Kim

I went over to check out the last few pages of the "Support" thread and pretty much the same people that have been bitching for the last week that he lied and mislead are still bitching because he won't apologize and take responsibility (apparently reading comprehension is not a strong suit among those folks). And I love the people who say they are leaving and then keep posting. I wish people would quit talking to them and trying to defend Clay...just let it go! Kim

Back from the dentist...the good news is it wasn't a broken tooth...just part of a temporary filling that fell out. The bad news is I will have to have the tooth pulled. He gave me a referral to an oral surgeon. He actually told me 4 years ago that I should have it pulled, but since it wasn't bothering me and since I have such a phobia about dentists, I put it in the back of my mind and decided not deal with it until I absolutely had to. Now, I have too...so I guess I will be making that phone call. yuck! Kim

Good Morning Everyone, I wanted to respond to Couchie's post and other's last night; but I was in a pretty pissy mood (and watching the Cub game didn't help) and didn't want to offend anyone, but then I saw Trophywife's post...that is pretty much where I am now...I just don't give a shit anymore that people are feeling bad or struggling or can't come to terms. I find I want to scream at my computer "Oh for God's sakes just get over it!" I just cannot understand having "trust issues" with a celebrity...someone you don't know, probably will never know or even meet. I know that sounds callous and unfeeling..but I am just so done with the whole thing. I think some need to just walk away from their computers for a week, get back into real life and realize that in the great scheme of things, this is just not that big of a deal.
