  1. Sorry, but I am upset. That was so undeserved. Clay won on every point, hands down, and everyone knows it. It's so obviously fixed it's ridiculous. I have nothing against Arsenio but I'm sorry, as soon he started with the stuff about his cousin again, and then started kissing ass, I had a feeling.......I am glad to see Dee and Aubrey saying/tweeting that it was a farce because it so blatantly was. The decision was already made. Again. It's just a tv show, yada yada yada. I know. Clay got tons of exposure, impressed a lot of people, made a lot of new fans, and of course the impact on the NIP is huge. All true. I'll get over it, it just sucks.so.bad. I am thrilled with the Lean On Me performance though. About freaking time he got to wail on national TV again.
  2. Fear, happy to hear you will be meeting up with playbiller at the gala. luckiestdaughter and I plan to drive in, probably on the Friday, and leave on the Sunday. So I hope that we will be able to make any FCA meetup that is planned.
  3. Clackapalooza! Thanks for bringing links over. I am running behind.....I just watched the Today show with Clay & Arsenio. And then today, isn't Jamie Oliver on? Someone tell me why I'm not in NYC this week.... Awesome banner, cindilu2! Hee, they had to track you down? See you Sunday!
  4. Clay and Arsenio were just on the Today show together. From CV:
  5. CV has a great new OutQ interview with Clay in the vault today.
  6. I took a peek around just now for the first time in a while and yikes! Apparently Arsenio and Aubrey are having a hate on. And Jerry Aiken has promised more Gala news today, wheeeee!
  7. I don't know, I think they make it seem like the cards are stacked in Arsenio's favour through editting. I want Clay to win and I really hope he does. I think he definitely deserves it more, but that doesn't mean anything to the Donald. I thought Marlee Matlin deserved it way more last time around too. In any case I will be so nervous watching it live on Sunday.
  8. Well at least the Claymates are well represented!
  9. My PVR won't play I tried watching on CBS.com but I can only find one short clip of Clay. There must be more! Hoping for clack soon.
  10. Wow, what a great read! You'd almost think the interviewer was a Claymate.
  11. Thanks! Yes, I did watch it at work (it's Friday afternoon and there are not many people left here)
  12. I was watching the tweets fly last night as I sat at my son's baseball game, freezing to death. I didn't see that one to SassyBizzness though (probably because it went just to her) so thanks for bringing it over. The one where someone called him a flaming fruitcake and he said something like "then u should eat me" just had me on the floor. I love the way Clay doesn't back down to people. And I was doing a happy dance for you, ldyj, when you got a #HOLLA! So was luckiestdaughter. I haven't seen the MSNBC thing from last night yet (he was on, right?)
  13. {{{gbmifan}}} So sorry the date doesn't work for you. That is how I felt last year. Luckily, I made this one by the skin of my teeth - 5 days to be exact - since I have to be in Windsor, ON for Skate Canada on Oct. 25th. I dozed off last night towards the end of Survivor and awoke to that really annoying, stupid man on Piers Morgan that Clay said "set the bar all the way to the ground". Hee. You go Clay.
  14. Just saw this on Twitter: Piers Morgan Tonight ‏ @PiersTonight As @BarackObama supports same-sex marriage, @piersmorgan welcomes @jessetyler, @clayaiken, and @TheLewisBlack to share reax. Live 9p #CNN
  15. Thanks for bringing the recap and pictures over, ldyj. I forgot all about the FEC gala last night! He sure looked great, and I bet he sounded great as well. Looking forward to clack. So sorry to hear that the amendment passed in NC. I was really getting a kick out of Clay's tweets last night....he never backs down, does he? Even to idiots who say the rudest things.
  16. Hee, you and me both Couchie! Sorry, Clay, never gonna like her. I'm not nervous watching so far, but I'm going to be on the 20th, that's for sure. So, did anyone else get the fan club re-up email and then click on the link and the page doesn't exist yet? And yet, usually when he makes us re-up it's because something is coming. So I'm kind of excited! So I had a crazy weekend. Saturday morning I went to the grand opening of our local outdoor farmer's market (yay!) and then got in the car with my older son and drove into Toronto to help Mom out with stuff again. Then we headed up to Orillia (1.5 hours north) to meet up with a few people for dinner and attend the Amanda Marshall concert (anyone remember her?) It was awesome, as it always is. Her voice blows me away the same way Clay's does. I can never quite believe it. I wish she'd get out of her legal issues with her management or whoever it is that's holding her up, and record some new music. Can you imagine if Clay had done nothing but an occasional one-off concert since 2003? That's about how her fans feel. Anyways, we stayed in Orillia for the night and then headed back down to Toronto Sunday morning to help Mom out again for a bit, then headed home. I had tickets to Stars On Ice yesterday afternoon here in town, then I headed to my son's baseball game, where I stayed until Celebrity Apprentice time. Sorry kid, but CA trumps the last few innings! I usually feel like I come to work to have a rest.
  17. We are having another freakishly hot day here. I'm trying to keep the dogs inside so they can breathe! To have the A/C on in May is unheard of. I just watched that long preview and Aubrey makes me gag. Seriously. Do we know if this might be her turn to go home? Because I can't take much more of her. I may have to mute the scenes that she is in. At least Lisa isn't pitching a fit when she's only got Clay on her team. Or at least, I hope she doesn't. How do you have Clay Aiken with his iconic hair and not use him with a blow dryer task? Ok maybe it isn't long enough but if it were up to me, I would. Also, how about we mention (or show pictures of) his Elle magazine spread? What? Ok, he's not all full of himself like Aubrey, so I guess not. My son's baseball season starts this weekend so I'm not sure if I am going to home in time to watch CA live on Sunday. I may have to turn off my tweets so I don't get spoiled.
  18. Couchie, I think they said 3 more weeks. Looks like next week they bring back Marlee Matlin and John Rich as advisors. I was in the backseat of car, on the way home from Toronto, as Clay started tweeting about the cable being out at Quiana's. That was kind of funny to follow....of couse, Clay fans started tweeting the cable network (Time Warner), Quiana tweeted something about paying her bills on time, and then Time Warner tweeting everyone back, tagging Clay, and said they would get it working asap. We made it home with minutes to spare, so I did get to watch it live with Clay's tweets (which is the only way I like to watch it!) I loved all the in studio footage, how often do we get to see that? I had to rewind it and watch it twice, immediately. I would not have picked Aubrey's team to win that challenge, but that might be because I can't stand when she opens her mouth to sing. I also can't stand when she opens her mouth to talk, to be fair. I agree that Lisa is unstable and I wouldn't want to be in the same room with her, but I had no issue with anything Clay did or said last night. As I said before, I can't even imagine his level of frustration in that task, with Dayana at the helm. Well, we left my Mom alone last night for the week. She seems ready and eager to be independent again. The doctor has given her the green light to start driving again mid-May. So this will be a test as to if she can manage on her own. I think she can. We made sure she had everything she needed for the week. We will pop in to check on her next weekend on our way up to Casino Rama, where we have 2nd row tickets to see Amanda Marshall in concert. Of course, I will also be calling her daily.
  19. Seriously, I hope someone stapped Dayana to a chair at some point and made her watch some Jukebox tour videos! I can't even imagine how frustrated Clay must have been during that task....
  20. I bet it's hard for him NOT to take responsibility on a singing task....I mean he is Mr. Control on stage. I can't watch it either as I'm stuck in a mandatory Training Course at work.
  21. I don't see the performers listed anywhere on that site.....I hope Clay tweets of TC lets us know if he is indeed performing. The tickets are steep but I'm sure someone will take one for the team if it means we can get some clack.
  22. Ha ha, love the last line. Thanks for transcribing, now I don't have to waste time listening to it!
