  1. Have a fantastic time with boyfriend and the girls tonite! I probably won't stay up for it, but expect full accounts later. Lucky dogs! :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  2. All prayers to Minnesota. How could that happen? Too horrible. On the soundcheck vid: Clay is really acting cute and hamming it up IMO!
  3. OMG- Clay and James Brown - it doesn't get any better than this. Brought over to the CH by Chardonnay: Warning, it's too hot to handle. Have a blast , my lovelies in CA! :F_05BL17blowkiss: eta: my little gift to Sis Kandre!
  4. couch, dear, could you or someone please direct me to the page number where you wrote about the music biz from your cousin's POV? I can't seem to find it and would be very interested. Thanks! Have a blast California concert goers!
  5. I just had to bring this over. I commanded Fountaindawg to come up with something showing Clay killing off the "bugs" in his life so to speak and she outdid herself! DANG THOSE GNATS!
  6. Thankyou soooo much my pals for the lovely b'day greetings! Did my little ticker a world of good. Will I see anyone in Cary Asheville Knoxville? I hope so. PM me and I'll give you my cell number. On a darker topic, there's a special place in Hell reserved for animal torturers , IMO. A pox on those people! (I"m refering to the Michael Vick thing of course) Can't wait to hear Clay talk about "Idol the Musical " tonite.
  7. Hey Play, where did you steal that picture of me and my walker! I want it back now! Perez Hilton might steal it and use it as an example of the hotness factor of Clay's fans! Yes, I was birthed exactly 10 years before Miss K'andre. Our mom's labor was extremely long because Miss Thing wanted to make an entrance in just the right way! But here we are! The Clay pics here are extraordinary. Clay has the sexiest profile on the planet. His nose alone is a sex object. The lashes, the lips, yeah , yeah, but that NOSE says all. Sensualist . He is so very tactile isn't he? In honor of all the marvelous Clack we've been getting lately I wrote a little snarky baroque ode to the Clack goddesses as sung by a wannabe Clack goddess. I've been singing it in operatic style and would love to perform it for you guys, maybe at one of the parties. Imagine a full orchestra with harpsichord. It's an excerpt from the oratorio, "Claytonus Maximus" written by Handel's sister, Anita Handel- I think of her often when I view the Pants! Maybe I can record it with my new mp3 recorder I'm getting for my boitday. Happy Happy Sis Kandre! I give you: THE LAMENT OF A WANNABE CLACK GODDESS Good sir, do you mind? Madam, would you be so kind? I must stand here in front of you It is for ClayNation this I do! I must be very still To capture his every move and sound Oh good people, hear my plea God forbid the Clack should skip around! Chorus: God forbid the Clack should skip around God forbid the Clack should skip around Skiiiiiiiiiiiip, skiiiiiiiiiiiiip God forbid the Clack should skip around!!! Jojo, Toni7Babe, Goddess Scarlett Spotlightlover-these women all are harlots! SecretlyLoves Clay I bow to you all, Now, GET OUT OF MY WAY! Chorus: God forbid the Clack should skip around…. OMG! My battery has died There’s a cramp on my left side What shall I do? O , Claynation, the things I do for you! Oh no! There is Jerome I fear he’ll send me home! He'll loose the dogs of Hell Raleigh, Durham? Oh, well! Oh nay! There is Mother Faye! She has the face of Helen of Troy- Troy, New York. And hence her beautiful boy! Oh Faye! I beg of you I pray GET OUT OF MY WAY! Chorus: God forbid the clack should skip around… OMG, he’s moving out of sight He’s on the grind side of the stage And I am on the right! Clay, Clay over here Clay! Come back, don’t act like a rube You see I need you on YouTube! Chorus: God forbid the clack should skip around God forbid the clack should skip AROUND!!!!!!!!!! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Fin
  8. Just thought I'd stop by and say hi to all you dearios. I was in Philly and my back went out really bad when I came home. Saturn is transiting my sign (Leo) this summer . Saturn is the planet of tests and limitations and dealing with your shit and holy mama! I've been tested , limited and been a 'dealin'. It's very slow at the CH , thought I'd come over but alas! I can't discuss sports! I agree that Clay should sing the Classics more straight because he CAN, and it would still be funny. He's just so afraid that if he goes for the sexy, he might get laughed at (yes, I think he's still insecure about that). I do love him grabbing Angie's ass though. That is hot! And in "Listen" he literally sings those pants off! If the pants get any lower he'll need a hard-on to keep them up. Muski to the rescue! We must maintain and revitalize our studly performers! So who's going to Cary, Asheville and Knoxville? Boy, I envy the peeps going to the Greek in LA. I hope a lot of showbiz types catch him there. Jesse blows me away with his arranging abilities for such difficult medleys. Clay's got gold in him and the girls. I see them performing together years from now. A much hotter Tony Orlando and Dawn with way more talent. I wish someone would give him a summer variety show. So the shaven arms and legs are for tanning for something speshul. Does he not realize that you don't have to LOOK like a fifth grader to be on that durn show? Smooches- :Tour3:
  9. Hi Couchie and everyone! Keepingfaith, I've always linked "Nature Boy" and Clay together. Love that song. Celine does one hell of fine job on it , too. I'm writing joke cue cards, getting up my nerve for an open mike stand-up night. My theme: the Toilet and Bodily Hair Tour of Europe. Mondo bizarro! Also working out to be in shape for my summer African dance class- it's highly aerobic. I'm also doing lots of NOTHING, cause I've morphed into a night person, so I'm useless mornings. Don't have the energy to get into all that OFC stuff. Oy. I've got the melody and idea for a new song but the words are not flowing. Argghh! My newly adopted kitty rescues are very emotionally demanding. They haven't had love in years. I have such a lovely visual in my head of beautiful Mr. Aiken strolling the boulevards of Paris. My favorite city in Europe. In other news, it's a cooker here in the D.C. area- can't go outside at all which depresses me. Oh, and I'm totally caught up in SYTYCD. I'm grieving over the cut-off of "One-Arm Girl". My fantasy, Clay meets and falls in love with her. Sorry for this totally disjointed post. Just wanted to emerge from the dark goop to say howdy .
  10. I have nothing to say as I'm going to bed and just bopped in to give everyone a smoochie. Hi Nelle! How are you feeling? I have a great feeling about the next album. There will be songs by the Nashville writers, a SCC song and something else by Clay. I was listening to a bunch of Idol's albums today in the car, and then LAL came on and it still takes my breath away. I sure hope he doesn't "throw" this one away. It is one of the best songs I've heard in ages. Hugs to you all. :F_05BL17blowkiss: YSRN, that was some great pron!!!
  11. Just finished "Three Cups of Tea" this weekend and I cried and screamed out loud. What an amazing man. I hope Clay gets to meet him. Over 50 schools in the outmost and poorest regions in Afghanistan and Pakistan with the emphasis on girls. I want my husband to get him as a speaker for his "Business Transformation" gatherings at DOD someday as he is involved in helping Iraq get up on its feet.
  12. Damn he so knows how sexy he is when he sings making those faces. I think singing is a sensual/sexual experience for the dear boy. I agree that BFcan most definitely oversing and it grates on these ears. It's just unnecessary for him or bad technique. Bring on the those high sweet notes for me- no blasting, thank you. It's all breath support and warm up.
  13. Hey K'andre, my little seester, you rock on your grandma rant.!! I am an old fart! Say it loud and say it proud! FART- Fun And Ready To! Anything! And yeah, I watched Jimmy set his geetar on fire and get off on it at Monterey. Right after the Who blew up the stage! We're birding in Ocean City, Md. where the birds are plentiful and lovely. My 2 kitties that i rescued from the rest home where they were neglected are settling in. I'm a Mom! Hugs to all, and this is so good I just had to share: EVEN GOD ENJOYS A GOOD LAUGH! There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black: 1. He called everyone brother. 2. He liked Gospel. 3. He couldn't get a fair trial. But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Jewish: 1. He went into His Father's business. 2. He lived at home until he was 33. 3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his Mother was sure He was God. But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian: 1. He talked with His hands. 2. He had wine with His meals. 3. He used olive oil. But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was a Californian: 1. He never cut His hair. 2. He walked around barefoot all the time. 3. He started a new religion. But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was an American Indian: 1. He was at peace with nature. 2. He ate a lot of fish. 3. He talked about the Great Spirit. But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Irish: 1. He never got married. 2. He was always telling stories. 3. He loved green pastures. But the most compelling evidence of all - 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman: 1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was no food. 2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it. 3. And even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was work to do. AMEN! :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  14. Hey alliesmom, I'm with you on Bette. And don't forget folks, the woman flew in from Europe on 24 hour notice to make an appearance due to a cancellation of some other big star. And she is over 60! NO ONE, but NO ONE tops the Divine One's concerts , not even Clay. You will piss in your pants with laughter, cry your eyes out , and all those jokes and shticks with the Harlettes are amazing. I strongly recommend anyone to check out a show of hers before passing judgment on one song sung on Idol the other night. Even Pavarotti has shit nights. BTW, her birthday, is December 1! She and Clay are my must sees, too. I'll get off my soap box. I guess it's cuz I'm a singer and entertainer and get a little irked when there is so much critique of a longstanding great artists' one slip without having ever seen her. Sometimes it's about the soul and the heart and not perfection of technique. Squishes and hugs to alliesmom! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Long live those Sophie Tucker jokes! KarenEh, that first shot of Clay just took my breath away. He almost has a Gregory Peck quality to him. What a beautiful man.
  15. Lady J, I will be attending Philadelphia, Cary, Asheville and Knoxville! Sign me up! :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  16. I did Clay Aiken and I was "Learning to Sing" ! I did CA on Christmas and all was well. He said, "O come ye, O come ye" as chestnuts were roasting on an open fire. Luckily , he DID save it all for Christmas Day, which resulted in a winter wonderland! I know it's too gross! ( if you get it , that is!)
  17. How did Qiana originally post her claygagement on her calendar? Was it just "Clay"? Boy must be mighty horny if he derived being done just by sheer mention of his name. That would be quite a "stretch", eh, muski? I once had a "Chocolate Orgasm" the night before my wedding. Am I a bad girl? :eusa_whistle:
  18. Joins unpopular kids list. Hi artie :F_05BL17blowkiss: ! Okay, totally off topic and wierd but true: I dreamt that Faye Parker was teaching me how to levitate last night. And I did- with her. We also levitated other objects around. Okay, interpreters, have at it. Anyone watch cutie Apolo tonight?
  19. Gaz, all is forgiven, I loves you too. Had a tough day yesterday- but I did get to see Bo whose voice is still a force of Nature. Hair below the waist too. When I finally get to meet you, we'll talk about Oprah. I see two sides to her. Couch, I have to word your long post about who Clay is . I sometimes sit there and catch myself thinking, " Oh no, this is gonna turn off the men!" And I have to stop that. He is who he is, I love him as much as I "know" him, and the rest is in the hands of God. He seems to be having a helluva good time. Jimmy seems to just be tickled to death by him. Haven't been over at CH in a couple of days...will take a peek.
  20. I knew I'd get jumped on about the Oprah remark. Gaz, I personally have mixed feelings about Oprah, (there are some things I admire and some things not so much), but, my point , which seems to have been missed, was the very interesting components that make a person charismatic and a good communicator which I believe Clay is in many ways.
  21. I just posted this at CH and am bringing it here as I find it interesting: Oprah Winfrey received an honorary doctorate degree at Howard University yesterday. Karen Bradley, a dance instructor at U of Maryland and an expert on nonverbal communication explained Oprah's "almost preternatural ability to dazzle audiences" . Made me think of another person, too, in terms of potential: Quote: Oprah's body movements and voice reinforce her words, a consistency that helps her seem "entirely authentic." (Example: While referring to "blessings," she held up one hand, palm facing the audience, as if to bestow a benediction on the crowd.) Bradley calls her "completely embodied-what someone is feeling internally is congruent with what they're expressing. That's what we call presence or charisma.....She's always absorbing and always expressing something. The impression I get from her is that she's showing us how to be in the world." There's more about this way of communicating in today's Style Section of the Wash Post.
  22. Gonna see my other boyfriend today! Yes, that's right, Mr. Bo Bice over in Annapolis, Md. Can't wait. Remember when Clay said he was the nicest person he ever met on AI? I"ll give him your regards. Playbiller, I"m thanking you over here for your Janis Joplin video finds in the Kelly thread at CH. I cried, I stomped , I yelled. There has never been another singer like her again. Loved her fragile and bold heart so much and I thank the Goddess that I got to see this goddess many times over in San Francisco and at the Monterey Pop Festival. Happy Mother's Day to everyone in the spirit of the Great Mother . We're all mothering someone be they kids or animals or friends. :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  23. Looks like the Outer Banks, YSRN. I recognize that bench and shop and area in general. Looks like Jamie in the UNICEF shirt. Hmm, Clay adjusting his huevos rancheros! That is one stealth paparazzi!
  24. Hi gang. I went to a fundraiser gala with DH for Sempercomm., a conglomerate of groups who give money so that the soldiers at the most barren, primitive outposts get the basic comforts, CARE packages, internet access, TV and so forth. They really have it rough and so do their families. The headlining entertainers were country singer , Chely WRight who does countless USO shows and JAG star and actress Carri Turner , who does the same thing. Two fantastic women. We were special guests because DH met them in Iraq. They had an auction, like BAF, except the prizes were amazing- like 4 tix to the Superbowl , box seats, 3 nights lodging, were sold for 7,000 dollars- half their worth. They only raised 22, 000 for the soldiers with all these incredible prizes like a private pre-show concert with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. First off, my hub and I are outraged that the DOD is not providing these amenities and then some to our guys and gals in uniform with all the money they have. We learned some really angering stuff. DH is going to kick ass at the Pentagon come Monday. Secondly, I thought, boy , they could really raise the dough if they had Clay doing the auction. He wouldn't have the high recognition factor with the military crowd, but his fans would show them how much he can raise. Not enough of him to spread around! Most moving , sad and inspiring all at once- we sat next to a fantastic couple who lost their highly decorated policeman and fireman sons on 9/11. They go and visit those in service who are wounded all over the place. I was humbled and in awe. Well, I know this isn't a very "Clayworthy" post, yet I think it's very much in the spirit of our beloved humanitarian/singer/ horseman. Hugs to all! eta: merrieee, your Beatles connections blow me away! My seventh grade Beatlemaniac friends and I used to write Beatles fanfic ( quite innocent) and we were all dating them of course!
