  1. I'm on CV. It's way clearer than the CH one, even with only one speaker!
  2. Time for the auction. My sound is only coming in on one speaker, for some reason. I just tested my speakers too, and it's not the speakers....
  3. I can get into CV's stream via WMP, although it took forever to buffer. It won't work in iTunes for me though...doesn't like my password. Short video on CVS (the pharmacy company), who is one of the honorees tonight.
  4. The CH cellstream is back on, but it's very, VERY faint.
  5. Is Scarlett going to post from her Blackberry? *g* From berkley at the CH, a tentative schedule:
  6. I've wondered if he was going to do SAU. He does that so well live, and I can see that with just a piano. aikim, I was kinda sorta joshing about Quiana... And thanks for bringing over stuff from CV!
  7. Report from ficus on the CH cellcert... Clay looks really good. Jaymes is wearing a black suit/dress, Jamie is there in a V-Neck dress and her hair up. Jerome is there too, in a suit. I couldn't catch much else at the moment. CH cellcert will come back after about an hour. ETA: Maybe Quiana stayed home to take care of Parker?
  8. When I was a kid, lavender was my favorite color. In college, it turned to red. I'm thinking I may switch back to lavender...especially after I see the pictures! LOL CG, have you tried contacting the mods at CV? Sorry to hear about your troubles...
  9. Not seen that one, I'm afraid. But there's an ad for State Farm Insurance, I believe, where it has a guy, holding his new son, talking about "this is where I am now" or something like that. THIS is the commercial that makes me think of both Clay and Parker. Man, this gala tonight sounds awesome. I actually thought that he might bring out the stuff he did from QVC/AOL for tonight, and I'm also glad he's doing a few ATDW songs too. ATDW rocks!
  10. Are you looking at me? Heh. That's why I'm a librarian...details matter. To me, anyway. bottlecap, I spent a good portion of Thursday night rewatching the clack from the last Gala, and lamenting that there will be no beard. I think for me, "Gala" and "beard" are synonymous. No more, I suppose. *sob* My favorite from that night 1 1/2 years ago: And another:
  11. Everyone in Raleigh tonight -- please have fun. And bring back lots of reports. And pictures. And clack. Send him some love from me, and all of us at FCA!
  12. Yeah...and a certain swamp dweller is supposedly part of it as well. Clayzycoffin, if you don't know who I'm talking about...PM me. I can fill you in with a few details. Most of us don't like to relive it, though.
  13. And this is a problem because? :F_05BL17blowkiss: Yeah Gibby -- it was me!
  14. I like most of the idea of the sweater from last night. The plaid is cool to me, it looks soft, the color is actually quite nice to me, and I really liked the collar part of it. What I don't understand is the length of the thing. This is like the third outfit this week where his butt has been covered. Now, I'm not normally a :013085001176249046: kind of person, but I feel for my friends who are! LOL. I think one of the things I really love about Clay is that vanity is just not a part of his life. Sure, talk to Clinton and Stacy from What Not to Wear, and they would so disagree with his choices. And yet, I think it's great that he thinks more to spend time with his fans, IMO, than spend 15 minutes finding that perfect outfit. I love that. I would say I'm a bit jealous of those attending the gala. I would really like to be there, and yet, I know that money is an issue. Besides I've got two big trips coming up, one planned for months (Disney World) and one thrown together because I wanted to see Clay again (NYC in late December). Therefore, my mind knows the justification of cost isn't there. *sigh* Looking forward to all the reports, though.... ETA: Clay with the star of "Billy Elliot", David Bologna, at the that show's premiere:
  15. heinz, sorry to hear about your travails. I guess some people just are not born with the common sense gene.
  16. No way. We NEED their reports. But yeah, jealousy is rising in my throat. *sigh*
  17. Been waiting for this...fortunately, most are good IMO... From this week's People magazine MailBag:
  18. Thread title poll at the top of the page. We've been pretty slow with the thread lately...but I'm expecting it to pick up on Saturday, when reports come through for the Gala.
  19. Everyone heading off -- have fun! Yay Phillies! Dodgers bad, Phillies good. Hee. Via the CB...from the ATDW photographer's website... Yowza!
  20. From Broadway.com: Ask a Star: Clay Aiken You have to provide a name and your email address when you ask your question.
  21. Besides the three above, here are other suggestions: clayzycoffin: couchie: wandacleo: merryclay: merrieeee:
  22. I think I kinda need to clarify something a bit. I may have twinges of sadness for Clay still...but in many ways, I guess, I feel more sadness for society. It makes me sad that there are so many people out there that will now not give Clay a chance, just simply because he has said he's gay. I think there are people who would have had no problem with him before he made his not-a-declaration (good one cindi!), but because he's now come out of the closet, he's suddenly cut off from their world. It does make me sad that society can't embrace it's differences. Heck, if the political campaign at the moment doesn't suggest that... Sorry for bringing up politics...but I think it makes my point... In the meantime...watching the AOL sessions again today has done me good.
  23. I love this board. :F_05BL17blowkiss: Cotton, muski and liney! Cotton, this cracked me up: And I love that album too. LNM was a very powerful song for me to begin with, and with hindsight, it's even more so. OT: Trying to keep up good customer service is for the birds. Cranky people left and right at my workplace today. SUUUUUUUUUUCKS!
